Black Square’s Baron Professional brings you one of the most technically advanced aircraft simulations for Microsoft Flight Simulator, with an advanced reciprocating engine simulation, 100+ possible failures, 12 hot-swappable radio configurations, and the most advanced turbocharger, pressurisation and cabin temperature simulations in MSFS.
Black Square’s new tablet interface lets you configure all options, manage payload, control failures and monitor engines, electrical schematics and environmental control systems, all from within the simulator. The failure system allows for persistent wear, MTBF and scheduled failures for nearly every component in the aircraft. The 3D gauges are affected by physics, and can even become stuck without engine vibration, requiring a tap on the glass to free them.
Radio navigation systems are available from several eras of the B58’s history. Fly without GPS via a Bendix KNS-81 RNAV system, or with the convenience of a Garmin GTN 750/650 (PMS50 or TDS). Other radio equipment includes KX-155 radios, KLN-90B, GNS 530/430, KFC 150 Autopilot and an RDR1150XL Weather Radar. A 165+ page manual provides instruction on all equipment and 45 in-game checklists with control highlighting are included for normal and emergency procedures.
This product includes three airframes: the normally aspirated B58 of the mid-2000s, the 1984 B58TC and the pressurised 1985 B58P. Six distinctive interiors and six paint schemes are included from five decades of flying.
Analog Baron Owners: While the panel of the Baron Professional might look familiar, almost all other aspects of the aircraft have been rebuilt with Black Square’s current technology and high standards of quality. The major additions include a custom exterior model, custom sound package from Boris Audio Works, higher quality materials with modifications for each model of aircraft, fine-tuned performance tables, tablet visualisers with all the systems required to drive them, more avionics options and the reciprocating engine simulation that debuted with the Piston Duke. This expansion of the Analog Baron represents 1,000+ hours of dedication, and roughly a doubling of the aircraft’s code complexity. Once you experience Black Square’s latest technology in your favourite B58, the difference will be clear!
Primarily analogue instrumentation augmented with modern avionics is still the most common aircraft panel configuration in the world. Challenge your piloting skills by flying IFR to minimums with a fully analogue panel and no GPS. You’ll be amazed at the level of skill and proficiency you can achieve to conquer such adversity, and how it will translate to all your other flying.
For more information on the aircraft's capabilities and a list of all included avionics and equipment, see the Detailed Description below and the extensive PDF Operating Manual (printer-friendly version).
For an illustrated guide to all major improvements since the Analog Baron’s original release, see this Summary PDF.

- Greatly enhanced instrument panel detail compared to default aircraft with every label and marking in its place. If it appears in the real aircraft, you can interact with it!
- Custom-coded steam gauges with low-pass filtering, needle bounce and physics provide ultra-realistic and silky smooth animations like you’ve never seen before
- Carefully modelled components match the depth and character of the real instrumentation, based on reference photos, schematics and real world measurements. Unlike other expensive Flight Sim aircraft, every piece of equipment that appears in a Black Square aircraft is modelled after a real piece of aircraft equipment and will behave the same way in its primary functionality.
- Every knob, switch and button is interactable and implemented, along with its respective electrical circuitry. Turn systems on and off or pull circuit breakers to see the impact it has on your generators and battery via the analogue meters. Automatic standby generators and standby gyros are also simulated. Many pieces of equipment respond correctly to electrical configurations with warning messages and diagnostic codes.
- Fully 3D cockpit lighting technology for every gauge and panel, with ambient bounce lighting for a more immersive night-time experience that won’t leave you fumbling around in unrealistically dark spots
- 4096x4096 (4K) PBR textures on cockpit and panel for crisp instrumentation. Even see the fingerprints on instrument glass!
- Hideable yokes, adjustable sun visors and other cockpit aesthetics
Flight Dynamics
The Analog Bonanza features an improved flight model compared to the default Bonanza, with tweaks based on operator feedback and real flight data. Drag varies with cowl flap setting and air conditioning condenser scoop position. Engine damage and fouling produces a rough running engine and decreased performance.

The Columbia River in NW USA is the largest river by flow rate flowing into the Pacific ocean from the Americas. Consequently it has large bridges and also the Bonneville dam. Portland, Oregon lies on the south bank of the Columbia River and is on the Williamette River, a tributary of the Columbia River. A photo shows the area covered by this package.
The MSFS scenery is a vast improvement over previous flight sims. However bridges over large waterways, rivers or other bodies of water are very noticeable and are an eyesore destroying realism. Rkbridger packages solve that issue with bridge packages which show the bridges in their true magnificence and also improve the entire landscape, including marinas and river traffic, along the stretch of water modeled. All bridges are modeled in the correct architectural style with appropriate night lighting and with traffic flowing on the bridges.
The last bridge modeled on the Williamette River is the art deco style Oregon City Arch bridge designed by Conde McCullough and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is just down stream from the Williamette Falls and Locks which have also been improved in this package.
The Astoria-Megler Bridge and the Lewis and Clark Bridge were done by Asobo.
POIs have been placed at each model and are listed below.
Photogrammetry must be ON to ensure models integrate correctly with the sim.

Fill the middle of the market in your virtual hangar, as the 767 with the 200 and 300 variants is the perfect fit between the smaller jets like the 737 and the big ones like the 747.
Being Boeings first ever twin-engined widebody aircraft, the initial 767-200 from 1982 marked a big step into the world of how we travel today. Helped by new ETOPS regulations in the middle of the 80s, making oceanic crossings easier, and with the launch of the extended range model, the 767-200ER quickly following, this aircraft family soon proved successful.
Extending the fuselage gave birth to the new variant, the 767-300, and also later the 300ER, with the latter of these becoming the bestseller of the family with almost 600 orders.
Though being an aging aircraft, you may still catch some of these birds flying. Many have been converted to freighters, but there are still a handful of 767-200ERs left, and quite a few of the 300ER variant still in active airline service.

It starts in Knoxville Tennessee traveling south west through Chattanooga to Guntersville Alabama then heading north west to join the Ohio River at Paducah, Kentucky. This is about 30 miles, 50 kilometer, east of Cairo, Illinois where the Ohio River joins the Mississippi River. The river is important for moving materials by barge and has 9 dams and locks to facilitate the traffic.
River barges and rail bridges in the sim are mostly covered by water but this package brings them and the river to life. Models of dams and bridges have replaced the default or missing items in the sim. Many of the bridges are very large, built in the early 1900’s and are still in use, but many have been demolished and replaced by more modern designs.
