Batumi International Airportis an airport located 2 km (1. 2 mi) south of Batumi, a city on the Black Sea coast and capital of Adjara, an autonomous republic in southwest Georgia. The airport is 20 km (12 mi) northeast of Hopa, Turkey, and serves as a domestic and international airport for Georgia and northeastern Turkey.
Batumi is one of three international airports in operation in Georgia (along with Tbilisi International Airport serving the Georgian capital and David the Builder International Airport in Georgia's second largest city Kutaisi). The new airport terminal has been in operation since 26 May 2007. With a total area of 4,256 square metres (45,810 sq ft), it is capable of handling 600,000 passengers a year.
Batumi International Airport has noted a significant growth in the number of passengers since its renovation carried out by TAV Airports Holding in 2007. In 2011, the airport handled 134,000 passengers, an increase of 51% over the previous year.
In 2019, it was decided to expand the terminal because the existing capacities were no longer sufficient. The work was completed in spring 2021. The area has been doubled to 8000 square metres, which allows the handling of 1,200,000 passengers a year. Part of the work was to expand the number of bus gates, check-in and passport control counters as well as the expansion of duty-free areas and the car park. Additionally, the luggage handling area was partially expanded, where an automatic conveyor system was introduced and an additional one luggage carousel was installed. A total of 17 million US-dollar were invested.

The Short Stirling was the RAF's first operational four-engined bomber of the second World War and in its day it was reputed as an advanced and formidable aircraft. The Short Stirling was initially conceived in 1936 in reply to advances made by the Americans and Russians in the area of quadri-motor bomber technology. The first Stirling prototype was designed in 1938 and it eventually flew for the first time on 14th May 1939 but suffered a hard landing due to collapsed undercarriage, writing off the airframe and forcing a redesign in that area. Despite being hampered by a poor choice of wing design (too-short span) which limited the aircraft to medium altitude only, the Stirling went onto to play a major part in RAF Bomber Command's strategic air offensive until 1943, when it was switched to transport duties. Even then Stirling crews valiantly played a major role in the Arnhem landing after towing gliders to Normandy, and again during the Rhine crossing. Sadly, no Stirlings have survived to the present day.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have airports full of traffic at the correct gates? This product brings 41 airports complete with hand placed aircraft all around the airport including gates and GA. FSLTL is a FREE addon from FBW that you can download and have a base file for all the models you see in my product. What does my product do? I have gone a hand placed all the models myself at the correct gates from recent traffic and operations at each airport that have currently been done. Understand that some airports operations change frequently so i wont be updating every airport just to fix maybe a gate or two at some if maybe for a day another airline is parked there. There are some things you need to know first BEFORE purchasing. .
1. You NEED the FSLTL Base file (WHICH IS FREE) from FlyByWire. Just download the application from them and its pretty simple from there.
2. Not REQUIRED however highly suggested you use the airports listed in the file to make the traffic 100% as default airports or even freeware could potentionally lead to planes not being lined up or in the correct locations.
3. For certain Southwest planes you will need to download yet again another FREEware file if you want to see the "special" liveries shown, if not no worries it will just be an empty gate.
4. NO, if you use the FSLTL Live traffic injector the Static Planes will NOT disappear. Also same goes for if you use Vatsim or any other client the planes will not disappear for them.
All listed above recommendations will have links in the ReadMe file when you purchase.
Installation will also be in the ReadMe file however it should be pretty simple once downloaded.
If you have any questions please feel free to shoot me an email or reach out in Discord as im always around and can answer any of those direct lines. Info on that will also be in the ReadMe.

The Wing42 ... Embark on your most realistic flight to date, with Wing42's (revolutionary) Boeing 247D. Developed in 1933, this aircraft set the standard for a new generation of airliners. Gone were the days of wood-and-canvas contraptions, now the future awaits with Boeing's first-of-a-kind modern airliner! Features such as a retractable landing gear, cantilevered wings, and a top speed of over *190 miles per hour, undoubtedly make the 247D a remarkable aircraft with historic significance.
The Wing42 Boeing 247D is the first aircraft in MSFS to fully implement a radio range navigation module that will have you "flying the beam. " So attune your ears and decipher the code, it's by no means an easy feat, but it's all geared towards giving you an experience like no other. If you are looking for immersion that simulates a wide range of behaviours and effects, then prepare to have your hat blown off with our custom-coded Prop-o-Tronic Physics Engine. It uses real-world physics to simulate a rich and interactive flight with significant consequences - so don't be ill-prepared!
Full list of Features
3D Model
High fidelity 3d model with high-resolution PBR textures throughout the aircraft.
Flight Model
Super-realistic flight model, based on aerodynamic analysis and numerous sources from operating procedures to pilot reports. The flight model for the Boeing 247D was meticulously developed by aerodynamics expert Pamela Brooker, verified and tested by seasoned pilots.
System Simulation
The Boeing 247D features our first implementation of the Prop-o-Tronic physics engine in Microsoft Flight Simulator. Systems accurately simulated by Prop-o-Tronic are:
- Oil System
Viscosity, temperature, 4 different oil grades are all simulated for dozens of parts in the engine.
- Electrical System
Real-world engineering calculations to accurately simulate voltages and currents. Make sure to pack some extra fuses, because they can pop during flight.
- Realistic Heat-exchange
Instead of relying on MSFS lookup-tables, heat is calculated using real-world engineering formulas that define the interaction between all the different parts of the engines. Heat is exchanged via convection, conduction and radiation.
- Much, much more
Animations
Custom animations for all moving parts and controls, from the light switch in the wash room to the vibration of the antenna wire in the wind.
Ground operations and our virtual clipboard
Our virtual clipboard is used to install various ground equipment, remove the cowling of the Pratt&Whitney S1H1-G engines, load the aircraft with passengers, cargo, mail, fuel and oil, and get the engines started. We also provide some key-reference data for your flight, in case you don’t have your checklists handy.
Realistic engine start-up procedure
The 247 had a peculiar engine starter, consisting of a flywheel with a hand-crank and clutch, both operated by the ground crew. You can either have your virtual ground crew do their job, or get your hands dirty by hand-cranking the engines yourself.
Sound
The add-on comes with a custom WWise sound pack, carefully designed by the professional audio mastermind Zak Spence. It includes amazing engine sounds, wind effects, audible controls and much more for a most immersive experience. Hear the engines roar, the equipment rumble, the radio crack and the switches click.
Fully functional Radio Range Navigation
The Wing42 Boeing 247D features an now outdated radio navigation system called “radio range”. The pilot of a historic 1930s aircraft would dial in a frequency on the radio and listen to the changing Morse code transmitted to find his way. It is an annoying and challenging, yet very rewarding way of navigating the skies. We included almost 700 historical radio stations (around 400 of them located in the U. S. A. ) and outfitted the aircraft with a Bendix MR1B wireless controller.
But fear not! We also provide plenty of information in form of manuals and video tutorials to get you started!
Custom FX
Utilizing the new effects system where possible, the Boeing 247D comes with custom made effects. From engine smoke to reading lamps in the cabin, the Boeing has them all!
Documentation
We provide extensive learning material to help you familiarize yourself with the aircraft. Included are two training manuals from the 1940s to familiarize yourself with old-fashioned radio navigation.
Liveries
The Wing42 Boeing 247D comes in nine different variations:
- Fictional Wing42 livery
- United Air Lines NC13361 (1933 livery)
- Precipitation Control N3977C
- Lufthansa D-AGAR
- Chevron Standard Limited CF-JRQ
