The civil aviation apron has 149 passenger aircraft parking positions and 25 cargo aircraft parking positions. The first runway is 3,400 meters long and 45 meters wide, and the second runway is 3,600 meters long and 60 meters wide. It can meet the annual demand of handling 40 million passengers and 1. 1 million tons of cargo and mail. As of October 28, 2023, Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport has a total of 34 passenger airlines, operating 182 passenger routes and serving 116 destinations.
In 2022, Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport handled a total of 625,000 tons of cargo and mail throughout the year, a decrease of 11. 4% compared with the previous year; the passenger throughput was 9. 222 million person-times, a decrease of 51. 3%.
