This project does not include LOD optimization, as it is not required for this type of content. Instead, I performed a custom adaptation of default water bodies to ensure proper integration with the new terrain mesh.

Black Square’s new tablet interface lets you configure all options, manage payload, control failures and monitor engines, electrical schematics and environmental control systems, all from within the simulator. The failure system allows for persistent wear, MTBF and scheduled failures for nearly every component in the aircraft. The 3D gauges are affected by physics, and can even become stuck without engine vibration, requiring a tap on the glass to free them.
Radio navigation systems are available from several eras of the B58’s history. Fly without GPS via a Bendix KNS-81 RNAV system, or with the convenience of a Garmin GTN 750/650 (PMS50 or TDS). Analog Baron Owners: While the panel of the Baron Professional might look familiar, almost all other aspects of the aircraft have been rebuilt with Black Square’s current technology and high standards of quality. The major additions include a custom exterior model, custom sound package from Boris Audio Works, higher quality materials with modifications for each model of aircraft, fine-tuned performance tables, tablet visualisers with all the systems required to drive them, more avionics options and the reciprocating engine simulation that debuted with the Piston Duke. This expansion of the Analog Baron represents 1,000+ hours of dedication, and roughly a doubling of the aircraft’s code complexity. Once you experience Black Square’s latest technology in your favourite B58, the difference will be clear!
Primarily analogue instrumentation augmented with modern avionics is still the most common aircraft panel configuration in the world. Flight Dynamics
The Baron Professional features a flight model with performance to match the real-world aircraft based on real Baron owner feedback and in-flight data. Engine and aerodynamic performance should be within 2% of POH values, though no two engines are ever the same. The flight model uses the most up to date features available in MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024, such as the new voxel CFD aerodynamics, CFD propeller, adverse yaw and stall parameters, and flexible tyre physics. Engine damage and fouling produce a rough running engine and decreased performance.
Paint Schemes
The Black Square Baron Professional comes with six paint schemes. The Baron Professional also comes with six interior upholstery packages that represent the aircraft through decades of service. This product makes use of Black Square’s highly customisable dynamic tail number system, which can be configured by livery makers. San Diego Area Bridges
Enhance your flights around the bays, mesas, and canyons of the San Diego metropolitan area with this package of hand-modeled bridges, coastline enhancements, and freeway interchanges.
This package contains approximately 35 detailed bridges, viaducts, and freeway interchanges, covering most major bridges/interchanges within the city of San Diego along with many notable ones in outlying areas. Central San Diego is covered by native photogrammetry within MSFS, but the poor presentation of brid... Enhance your flights around the bays, mesas, and canyons of the San Diego metropolitan area with this package of hand-modeled bridges, coastline enhancements, and freeway interchanges.
This package contains approximately 35 detailed bridges, viaducts, and freeway interchanges, covering most major bridges/interchanges within the city of San Diego along with many notable ones in outlying areas. Central San Diego is covered by native photogrammetry within MSFS, but the poor presentation of bridges in the photogrammetry, looking like solid walls or dams, is made especially stark by the dramatic terrain of the San Diego area (see comparison screenshots).
The only complete solution for these shortcomings is to model each bridge individually, by hand. This package replaces photogrammetry bridges (or default/extrusion type bridges outside of photogrammetry areas) with detailed high-quality models:

A large number of freeway interchanges are also hand-modeled and included, covering every interchange on I-5 and I-805 from CA-54 in the south to the CA-56 interchange in the north, along with many other interchanges on I-8 and CA-94 (See project map for more information). The number of included interchanges is somewhat unusual compared to my other bridge packages, but with San Diego's severe terrain, I found that properly modeling these was essential to obtaining the right look from above.
Each bridge/interchange is fully hand-modeled to a high degree of accuracy and detail, and includes PBR materials, custom lighting, and accurate road striping; many also include customized details such as custom-modeled light fixtures, hand rails, highway signs, and/or toll plazas. All bridges utilize LOD models tuned to balance appearance and performance. Most bridges include terraforming and vegetation corrections in the vicinity for the best possible appearance. Bridge approaches are modeled where they exist in real life, so photogrammetry should not be needed (though still recommended).
In addition to modeled bridges, this package also includes extensive shoreline corrections around Coronado, Point Loma, Naval Station San Diego, Mission Bay, Mission Valley, and the tidal lagoons from Torrey Pines to as far north as Oceanside. I've also included my custom vegetation hand-corrections for Balboa Park.
Compatibility notes: this package has been tested in conjunction with major payware scenery including SamScene San Diego Modern City, KSAN by both LatinVFR and BMW; and various freeware airports for the area, with no major issues noted. Nevertheless, I recommend using the in-game Package Reorder Tool to place this scenery package on a higher layer than any others for the area.
Extras: optional seasonal lighting packages for the concrete supports of the Coronado Bridge (proposed, but not yet implemented on the actual bridge)
Mxp-1000 Tayrona
The MXP-1000 Tayrona is a light two-seat STOL aircraft designed and built in Colombia by WACSA, loved for its rugged simplicity, quick takeoff and landing performance, and pure stick-and-rudder handling.
