Fortaleza International Airport - Pinto Martins (IATA: FOR, ICAO: SBFZ) is an international airport in the municipality of Fortaleza, Ceará. It is the airport with the highest number of international passengers in the North and Northeast of Brazil. It is located in the middle of the map of Fortaleza, 9 km from the city center, 11 km from the Ceará Events Center and 12 km from the main hotel chains in the city.

On May 13, 1952, the airport was named after Pinto Martins, in honor of Ceará's aviator Euclides Pinto Martins, who made the first flight over the Atlantic Ocean between New York and Rio de Janeiro, in the early 1920s, on board the Sampaio Correia II seaplane.
In March 2017, the airport complex was granted to the private initiative for the Fraport AG group for thirty years, for the amount of R $ 425 million reais. The group has been managing the airport's operations since the beginning of 2018, adopting the Fortaleza Airport brand, additional identification to the official name and informal names. The contract signed on July 28, 2017 guarantees the renewal and conclusion of Infraero's investments for the passenger terminal and the extension of the single lane.
The former airport passenger terminal functions as the General Aviation Terminal (TAG), operating small general, executive and air taxi.
