Known for its exceptional performance, heavy armament, and robust construction, the Fw 190 was a force to be reckoned with in any engagement. Step into the cockpit of this legendary warbird; meticulously recreated with our most detailed and authentic simulation to date. Countless hours have been invested by our team over a 2-year period, developing new simulation techniques to truly capture the unique characteristics of this remarkable aircraft.
Features: • Stunningly detailed, AAA quality 3D artwork with 14 historically accurate liveries included. • Experience one of the most detailed soundscapes available for MSFS – feel the distinctive roar of the BMW 801 D-2 radial engine from all angles with TWELVE unique engine captures – 6 external, 4 cockpit and 2 propeller layers. Experience true immersion with all new sound dynamics, including engine torque response, dynamic propeller sound simulations, realistic airflow sound modelling (which includes blade wind, propwash, airflow over control surfaces and more) as well as realistic airframe and foley sound layers. • Hear the Würger scream past with our cutting-edge FlyingIron Atmospheric Sound Propagation Model, developed with full dynamic modulation for true flyby & distant sound authenticity. Our propagation model recreates this sound by modelling ground reflections, delayed soundwaves, atmospheric propagation effects on sound frequency, doppler shifting and much more. No flyby recordings are used at all; distance & flyby sounds have been authentically modelled based on real sound physics to ensure the Würger sounds incredible from all angles, all the time. • Unparalleled flight model authenticity – developed through extensive collaboration with Fw 190 pilots, BMW 801 experts, and technicians to create a truly realistic model of the airframe and engine dynamics. The flight and engine models have undergone rigorous testing by a team of experts to validate performance and behaviour. Our custom-coded additions extend realism beyond the base simulator's capabilities. • Faithful recreation of the Fw 190's complex systems – powered by our custom codebase to ensure each aspect of system simulation is accurately reproduced and future-proof against Sim updates. This includes detailed modelling of fuel, hydraulic, and electrical systems, as well as emergency procedures. • Advanced electrical modelling captures every detail of the electrical system, from wiring paths and circuity, down to electrical draw of individual light bulbs. Electrical failures and circuit breakers are fully functional and integrated. • Custom ground handling physics and landing gear models developed specifically for the Fw 190, capturing its unique characteristics. • Breathtaking UV cockpit lighting - each light is individually designed, casting real ambient light for an immersive night flying experience. • Achieve true immersion with dynamic cockpit vibrations, animated gauges, a functional Revi 16B gunsight, and much more!• Full integration of the FlyingIron Pilot's Tablet – featuring UX enhancements such as Autopilot, various aircraft options, realism settings, data monitoring, weight & balance calculations, and more. All tablet settings are saved and persistent for your convenience.

Often regarded as 'the poor relation' to the Supermarine Spitfire, the Hawker Hurricane was in fact, a very capable fighting machine and again in fact, was responsible for 60% of Luftwaffe losses during the Battle of Britain. As a fighter, the Hurricane was no match for the manoeuvrability of the Messerschmitt BF109 but if a skilled pilot could bring those eight guns to bear, more often than not, the opposition was doomed amid a hail of concentrated fire. Those thick profile wings provided an extremely stable gun platform from which to shoot too. As the Battle developed, Hurricanes were assigned the primary role of destroying the waves of enemy bombers heading for British shores - Spitfires taking over the role of fighter interception and hence the more glamorous image.
During the Battle, the Hawker Hurricane made 'aces' of many of the young pilots flying daily to defend the shores of Great Britain. It fought in all the theatres of WW2, inflicting a massive amount of damage not only to enemy forces in the air but on the ground and at sea.
Much of this success was owed to its incredibly durable construction, enabling the aircraft to sustain huge amounts of punishment and still keep going. Cannon rounds would pass harmlessly, straight through the fabric of the rear fuselage structure without exploding and substantial armour plating behind the seat would provide protection for the pilot from rear attack.
There is little doubt, that without this iconic aircraft's rugged durability and the dogged determination of the RAF's Hurricane pilots,
Britain's 'Finest Hour' might have lasted a lot longer than it did.
In this tribute package you will find not only the Battle of Britain Mk1 but also the Tropicalised version with Vokes filter under the nose and a Sea Hurricane equipped with fully functional tail-hook for carrier landings.

P-47D Thunderbolt 'Razorback'
The P-47D ( or the Jug as it was affectionately known ) was one of the heaviest fighters of World War 2 with a fully laden P-47 topping the scales at a portly 8 tonnes. This weight required a very powerful engine. The same engine that powered the F6F Hellcat and the Vought Corsair, the Pratt and Whitney R2800. Coupled with an impressive load out capability and very capable 50 Calibre machine guns the Thunderbolt resulted in a very capable medium range escort fighter and excellent ground attack fighter.
But there was an issue. Visibility. The Razorback whilst strong ( some returned safely with very large amounts of the plane damaged. ) had an issue with rear visibility. The fix was found by a visit to the RAF. The RAF also had this issue on some of their aircraft and had in fact lent their design for canopies to another famous USAAF aircraft the P51 ( also available ). In this case the answer lay in the Hawker Typhoon with an all encompassing all round vision “bubble top”. And the razorback was retired from production in favour of the Bubbletop
P-47s were operated by several Allied Air Forces during World War II. The RAF for example received 240 razorback P-47Ds, which they designated Thunderbolt Mark I. Since there wasnt a need for a high-altitude fighter in the RAF ( the superb supermarine spitfire filling that role admirably ) the RAF used their Thunderbolts as ground attack. Rather like the Fairchild Republic A-10 thunderbolt in use today. And yes the A-10 takes its name from its WW2 grandfather - The P47-D "Thunderbolt".
