Each ship and airfield includes a custom NDB to recreate period radio navigation of the time. See map in document folder for locations and frequencies. A little Nav Map file has been included.
The North Atlantic Collection transforms a series of historic waterfront destinations into fully realized flying boat hubs. Docking facilities, mooring areas, marine infrastructure, and coastal operations have been recreated to provide an immersive environment tailored specifically to water-based aviation.
Whether flying short regional sectors or long ocean crossings, pilots can operate within a connected network of destinations designed around the unique requirements of flying boats and seaplanes.
With extensive custom content, detailed maritime environments, immersive audio, weather ships, and a complete network of flying boat destinations, the North Atlantic Collection offers a distinctive addition to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
All airfields except Shediac include a small flat area to allow limited wheeled operations, providing additional flexibility for ground activity at these bases, which did not have formal land runways.

The terrain adjustments have been a challenge; it have to be sculped by hand to fix the numerous imperfections; bumps; spikes along with unwanted effects. Here is now the Version 2 of these iconic world location. The waterfalls use new animations part of default Msfs scenery; roads; water; terrain all have been fixed along with minor vegetation adjustments. Niagara falls now a free package. The package fix: vegetation; photogrammetry; water; and more modification to default terrain. Add new animated falls; this scenery do not impact frames rates and only use 5 kb of disk space. La Palma Scenery
This add-on replaces the default MSFS ground textures on La Palma with custom high-resolution color-corrected aerial imagery. It also improves the scenery in several ways and includes optional mesh.
1. Aerial Imagery
- Version “Standard” (6. 0 GB): high resolution and very high resolution around the airport, best ratio between sharpness of textures and file size – recommended for the majority of users
- Version “Premium” (17. 4 GB): very high resolution on the whole island – re... This add-on replaces the default MSFS ground textures on La Palma with custom high-resolution color-corrected aerial imagery. It also improves the scenery in several ways and includes optional mesh.

- Improvements over the default MSFS ground textures include:
- realistic manual color correction that brings La Palma to life
- sharper image with more visible details (e. g. rock structure)
- no green tint, especially no green roads and no green sand
- no clouds visible on the ground
- higher resolution (depending on the version used)
You can decide which version you would like to download and use. You can switch between versions anytime.
2. Mesh (DEM)
- 3 versions with resolutions of 2 m, 4 m and 10 m – you choose the best for your hardware and graphics settings
- Mesh for the airports is included and has been adjusted to eliminate bumps on the ground
- Please note: This mesh is an experimental feature. While scenery and textures are very FPS friendly, this mesh uses more hardware resources, especially the 2 m version. All of the above screenshots were taken with the 2 m mesh add-on.

- placed one container ship and a crane in the cargo area of Puerto de Santa Cruz
- placed one cruise ship with night lighting and a helipad that you can land on in Puerto de Santa Cruz
- Enhanced Night Lighting
- added night lighting to all ports and piers
- hotel areas, pools, plazas, sports facilities, etc. are now illuminated at night
- Appropriate Vegetation
- added palm trees and other typical vegetation to the cities
- improved vegetation to match with the aerial imagery (e. g. bushes instead of trees in rocky areas)
- removed incorrectly placed trees along the coast
- Accurate Coastline
- applied a custom water mask to match the course of the simulator's ocean water with the coastline on the aerial imagery
- beaches, rocks and other parts of the coast that were partly underwater are now completely visible giving the coastline a more defined look
- fixed the issues with water flowing up cliffs
- Other Improvements
- added 4 lighthouses (World Update 3 has to be installed for them to be visible)
- removed incorrectly placed buildings on top of fields, pools, sports facilities, etc.
- removed incorrect rivers
Aerial imagery, mesh and scenery are put together as separate add-ons and can be used independently of one another.
Compatibility
This add-on is compatible with the airport by Sim-Wings (no changes to the files necessary anymore).

Very Important Note:
The sim by default has implemented an exclusion somewhere around the horseshoe bend thus making all changes done to not appear by default.
Do the following steps to load the addon as intended:
- Open settings
- Click Advance Options
- Click experimental features
- Open Package Reorder tool
- Look for "cli4d_niagara_falls"
- click on the arrow down corresponding to the file
- Set it to the lowest part to make sure it will be the last to be loaded in order for the horse shoe bend waterfalls to appear as intended.
- Restart the sim

Important Note for Best Terrain Quality
This verision has been fully tested on MSFS 2024 SU6 Beta v1. 8. 8. 0, and thanks to the latest improvements in my terrain‑mesh generation algorithm, the Old Terraforming Method is no longer required. ETM10m now works seamlessly with the new MSFS 2024 terrain renderer.
This update is part of my ongoing commitment to deliver the most accurate and realistic terrain mesh for Israel, crafted tile by tile with precision and passion.
