Skyparot 09 Travel is intended for simulator pilots who want to fly far: long glides, efficient thermalling and cross-country routes in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 – comfortably lying in a pod harness with leg bag.
Skyparot 09 Travel is not a repaint or a simple colour variant of another Skyparot model. It is a separate paraglider flight model for experienced pilots who already master the 08 Advanced and want the performance and the more demanding handling of an EN-C style cross-country wing.
The 09 Travel glides further, uses the speed bar more efficiently and reacts more precisely than the intermediate wings. It needs active flying: brake and weight-shift inputs have a clear effect, and in steep turns and wingovers the wing builds up energy quickly. The pod harness opens and closes with the landing-gear command – legs out for launch and landing, leg bag closed for the glide.
**Specifications (simulator, 84 kg all-up weight, calm air):**
* Class: EN-C inspired cross-country wing
* Trim speed: approx. 41 km/h
* Full speed bar: approx. 53 km/h
* Best glide ratio: approx. 1:10. 5
* Water ballast: 0-10 kg (payload menu)
* Pilot weight adjustable in the fuel/payload menu
**Main features:**
* Standalone MSFS 2024 paraglider model
* Pod harness with leg bag, opened and closed with the landing-gear command
* Instrument panel on the leg bag
* Water ballast for faster glides on strong days
* VR support: grab the brake handles with your motion controllers (limited to the capabilities of MSFS)
* Choice of pilot: Skyparot male or female avatar, or the MSFS avatar
* Choice of eight colour variants
* Foot launch, air start and winch launch
* Flight dynamics tested and refined by an experienced paraglider pilot
* Suitable for cross-country flights, thermal flying, ridge soaring and long scenic glides
