The 6 most beautiful general aviation airfields of southern Bavaria finally come to the simulator:

Each airfield was built 1:1 to the prototype, hundreds of detailed photos were taken at each airfield and reconstructed in close exchange with the airfield operators.
Since the developers fly themselves, they have focused on every little detail as well as all approach points at the airfields.
All airfields have the approval of the airfield operators as well as original ICAO approach charts & airfield maps courtesy of Deutsche Flugsicherung and Eisenschmidt.
Installation runs via Aerosoft One, this requires an internet connection and an Aerosoft user account!

After the successful Southern Bavaria package for Flight Simulator X, Aerosoft now returns to the roots of general aviation airfields in a partnership with ClearPropStudios.
The first in a total of 6 airfields is Moosburg auf der Kippe. The airfield Moosburg auf der Kippe (ICAO: EDPI), as a special airfield north of Munich, is a demanding, small and uncontrolled grass airfield with a runway of 700x 30 m. It is operated by the Fliegerclub Moosburg e. V.

The first in a total of 6 airfields is Moosburg auf der Kippe. The airfield Moosburg auf der Kippe (ICAO: EDPI), as a special airfield north of Munich, is a demanding, small and uncontrolled grass airfield with a runway of 700x 30 m. It is operated by the Fliegerclub Moosburg e. V.
The runway is oriented to the northeast (RWY 04) and southwest (RWY 22); the radio frequency of the tower is 125. 815.
The airfield is located one kilometer south of the historic center of Moosburg at an altitude of 419 m above sea level (1376 ft).
Moosburg is considered to be quite demanding, as the airfield is located very close to the control zone of Munich Airport. It is necessary to keep exactly to the airfield traffic pattern here - both in altitude (aerodrome circuit altitude 2300 ft) and from the approach.
Every year, the popular flea markets as well as special Fly Inns take place at the airfield, which are very popular with pilots.
The version for the simulator includes the complete airfield Moosburg, which was modeled with great attention to detail on the original (all buildings, hangar, playground, signs and restaurant). For this purpose, we flew to the airfield several times, took hundreds of detailed photos and talked to the operators of the airfield. The developers of the airfield are passionate pilots themselves.
In addition, all important approach points and elements in and around the airfield were taken into account (weir bridge approach 22, St. Kastulus monastery Moosburg, Asch castle, Zolling power station, parking lot highway). The airfield develops a completely unique atmosphere in the dark due to the adapted lighting conditions.

Visit the Mahoney Creek Landing Strip in one of Idaho's most beautiful valleys. The airfield is located on a plateau above the Middle Fork Salmon River at an altitude of 4600ft (1400m) above sea level and is only a few minutes away from Thomas Creek and Indian Creek. Mahoney Creek is the perfect start or destination for visiting the well known Johnson Creek Airport 3U2 which is only a 20 minute hop northwest. A perfect opportunity to see if you and your plane can handle crossing Ihados mountains... Visit the Mahoney Creek Landing Strip in one of Idaho's most beautiful valleys. Visit Thomas Creek Airstrip and take some time out at the beautiful located Middle Fork Lodge at the heart of the Frank Church wilderness in upstate Idaho. The airstrip sits in the Middle Fork Salmon River valley at 4,415 feet above sea level and is just a few miles apart from 0U3 Mahoney Creek. At 2100 by 75 feet the runway offers enough space even for larger bush planes and is in good condition. After your successful landing at the airstrip the Middle Fork Lodge on the other side of the valley... 3U2 Johnson Creek Airport

Nested in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and around 3 miles south of the small village Yellow Pine the field is located at an altitude of nearly 5000 feet in Valley County in the heart of the USA. With its campsite right next to the runway this airstrip is the first choice for many bush pilots to explore the mountains, valleys and picturesque rivers around Yellow Pine. ... The Bydgoszcz Airport was established during World War I for the German army. In 1920, the airport was taken over by the Wielkopolska Army and, under the Treaty of Versailles, the airport has served the Polish army ever since. Civil aviation flights commenced in 1929 when LOT Polish Airlines opened connections to Gdańsk, Warsaw and Poznań. These connecting flights operated until 1933.
During World War II and in its aftermath, the airport underwent numerous developments, unfortunately the LOT Polish Airlines connecting flights were not reactivated until 1948, and operated from Bydgoszcz until 1981, with a break of over 10 years in the 1960s. The connecting flights to Poznań and Gdańsk yet were suspended. The longest remaining connection was Bydgoszcz to Warsaw.
The year 1992 started an eventful period of economic development, including the civil airport in Bydgoszcz. For this purpose Bydgoska Korporacja Lotnicza Sp. z o. o. (The Bydgoszcz Aviation Corporation Ltd) was founded and operated until 1995. It was then restructured and transformed into a public limited company, Port Lotniczy Bydgoszcz S. A. , which currently manages the airport. One of the most significant achievements of the company was the creation of an international airport.
On 1 May 2004, a new modern terminal building was opened and earned the airport a title of ‘Firma Roku 2003’ (The Company of the Year 2003), awarded for the significant contribution the company had for the development of the region, as well as promotion of aviation. On 31 January 2004, the company was also awarded a statue of ‘Polski Klub Biznesu’ (Polish Business Club).
