The following airlines offer regular scheduled and charter flights at Dortmund Airport: Condor, Dan Air, Eurowings, Pegasus Airlines, Ryanair, SunExpress, Wizz Air. The airport has a 2000 m long runway, equipped with ILS on both courses.
Aerosoft Airport Dortmund includes a detailed implementation of the airport passenger terminal, which takes into account the location of the airport floors with exits to the apron for aircraft and car parking on the other side. The airport interior has been created, along which animated passengers move. The observation terrace located on the upper tier of the airport, on which there are also animated people, looks great. In general, there are a large number of animated people on the airport territory.
Custom jetways have been made for the project, as well as models of lamps that are installed along the taxiways and runways. Models of static aircraft equipment, such as fire engines, refueling trucks, and ladders that operate at the real Dortmund airport, were made separately for the project.
Much attention was paid to the complex of buildings of the General Aviation Terminal at Dortmund Airport, as well as the hangars. The project also includes a Star Wings Dortmund aviation flight school complex. In addition to the parking lots at the airport for aircraft, there are two parking lots for helicopters.
During the work on the project, the complex terrain of the airport was taken into account.
- Designed interior with animated passengers
- Viewing terrace on the upper level, also with animated passengers
- Including GAT, two helicopter stands & flight school complex of Star Wings Dortmund
- Custom jetway and lighting models
- Custom models for static objects, e. g. tankers and fire engines
- Custom GSX profile included (with functional VDGS)

The XCUB Classicfx
This project is one of the original reasons I started doing development for MSFS, and its been a great adventure learning the ropes and putting this together
From the first time I loaded the CubCrafters XCub in 2020, I knew I really wanted the normal XCub VFR panel, this has always been a favorite aircraft of mine
Well here is my newest depiction of just that, I tried to apply everything I've learned so far in the hope that it would be good
My hope is that people will enjoy and have fun... This project is one of the original reasons I started doing development for MSFS, and its been a great adventure learning the ropes and putting this together

The XCub, by default, is sold with a reasonable VFR panel. what we see in the game is a costly upgrade. https://cubcrafters. com/xcub/configure
While I have come to enjoy the usefulness of the G3x glass cockpit, you just cant beat the look of the standard dial gauges
This new 2024 version includes many upgrades, new 3D needles on all the dial gauges, new PBR textures all the way around, along with too many tweaks and touches to list
All packaged in the new 2024 modular system to take advantage of all the new features, with full Walkaround, fueling from the tablet etc
I Take some liberty in design, using the layout from the CubCrafters FX cubs as inspiration
To me it just looks better and I was originally hoping to do multiple dash layouts but so far its just the Aera Tablet
I would love to add another dash layout in the future but I wont make any promises I may not be able to keep
Thank You for trying my work and if you have any feedback or suggestions dont hesitate to join my discord and post them

For years, the pilot inside your simulator has been trying to reach you. You’ve ignored their anxiety during stalls, dismissed their dread at overspeed, and shrugged off every autopilot failure with suspicious calm—all while sipping coffee in external view and casually banking beyond structural limits.
They’ve been quietly losing it. . .
Thanks to a slightly unhinged AI experiment (and some highly classified black box decoding), we’ve finally opened up a direct line of communication to the simulated pilot in the cockpit. But we’re not asking you to respond. That would require effort. So, we built an automatic messaging system—fully equipped to handle every outburst, every annoying question, fearful observation, surreal spiral, irrational demand, and bottled-up existential crisis they’ve been stewing in for years.
You fly. They vent. Balance is restored.
And as long as they feel heard, they might stop sabotaging your sim— no more random control drops, flickering avionics, or suspicious graphics resets mid-flight.
That wasn’t a bug. That was them. . .
Let the chat log run. Or don’t. They’ll keep talking either way. But now… they feel better. Probably.

Introducing the Wyvern Mk. 1, the latest addition from Classic Aircraft Simulations—pushing the limits of plausibility and the MSFS flight model. Faithfully recreated from ancient scrolls, questionable folklore, and a generous serving of imagination, the Wyvern is a fully flyable winged reptile for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Equipped with a four-limb thrust vectoring system (two wings, two legs) and a powerful long range anti-ice system (fire breathing capabilities), the Wyvern Mk. 1 offers short takeoff capability (just jump) and terrain-aware landing gear (claws). Its organic flight model is tuned for agility, glide, and occasional mid-air roars that cause severe wake turbulence. Fuel efficiency varies depending on snack availability.
Whether you’re looking to buzz towers in medieval fashion or perform casual sightseeing over photogrammetry cities, the Wyvern Mk. 1 delivers a truly classic flying experience. It doesn’t come with avionics, because instinct is the ultimate glass cockpit.
Classic Aircraft Simulations Discord

- Realistic flight model.
- Advanced wing flex simulation.
- Unbeatable STOL performance.
- ICAO/FAA compliant.
Recommended for use on VATSIM.
SU2 beta recommended due to animation bug.
Special thanks to Apex3D studio for use of their beautiful Wyvern model.

It first entered service in early 1917 and became a dominant force in aerial combat during the war. The D. III was an evolution of the earlier Albatros D-series, combining speed, maneuverability and firepower. It featured a streamlined wooden monocoque fuselage and was powered by a Mercedes D. III engine. Armed with twin synchronized 7. 92mm Spandau machine guns, it provided pilots with superior offensive capability.
Many legendary German aces, including Manfred von Richthofen (the "Red Baron"), achieved great success flying the Albatros D. III. Its performance gradually became outclassed as newer Allied aircraft introduced but it remained in frontline service well into 1918.
The Albatros D. III's elegant design and historic significance make it one of the most celebrated fighters of the Great War and we are proud to present it in the MSFS 2024.
This digital twin was developed including real pilot and after many hours of creation and testing our mission is to provide a high-fidelity experience of this biplane.
