Reid-Hillview (KRHV)
Reid-Hillview Airport of Santa Clara County (ICAO: KRHV) is in the eastern part of San Jose, California, United States. Santa Clara County owns it and is near the Evergreen district of San Jose where aviation pioneer John J. Montgomery experimented with gliders in 1911. Reid–Hillview was a single runway airport until 1965, when a second runway was added. The control tower opened in October 1967. In 2010, San Jose State University's aviation program relocated to Reid-Hillview. The university operates out of the Swift Building, where it holds classes during the academic year.

The cable car station and the restaurant were designed by Bernese architect Konrad Wolf. The Piz restaurant claims to be the world's first revolving restaurant although others already existed at the time of Piz Gloria's 1969 opening.
The name Piz Gloria originated in Ian Fleming's James Bond novel On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1963), in which it is...
