Suggested Flight Path
Depart from West Yellowstone (KWYS) or Gardiner (29S) and follow the Yellowstone River into the park.
The Canyon Run: Drop into the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone to catch the spray of the Lower Falls, then climb swiftly to spot Crystal Falls tucked into the southern wall before overflying the Upper Falls.
The Northern Leg: Follow the river north through the winding valleys toward Mount Washburn.
The Tower Finale: As you approach the narrows, bank sharp to reveal the dramatic spire of Tower Fall, perfectly framed by its volcanic rock needles.

This stunning airfield has been built from the ground up for MSFS 2024. Sitting in a truely remarkable setting, high above the water and next to one of the most beautiful towns in the UK. Formed as a satellite airfield to Exeter in World War II, Bolt Head Airfield now sees planes of all types come and go throughout the year.

This stunning airfield has been built from the ground up for MSFS 2024. Sitting in a truely remarkable setting, high above the water and next to one of the most beautiful towns in the UK. Formed as a satellite airfield to Exeter in World War II, Bolt Head Airfield now sees planes of all types come and go throughout the year.
The approach is visually impressive and every bit of detail has been modelled to really give the best flight experience on the way in! 430ft above the water and a few fields in from the cliffs, sits the single grass strip. Measuring 600m in length and 24m wide, so there's plenty of room for landing and taking off.
40 square kilometers of photo realistic terrain have been placed and blended into the sim along with hedgerows, scrub and fences to give a great impression of speed on approach. There's over 200 hand placed models within this addon with most buildings having PBR textures. This offers great lighting effects such as surface reflection and ambient occlusion.

The major additions include a custom exterior model, custom sound package from Boris Audio Works, higher quality materials with modifications for each model of aircraft, fine-tuned performance tables, tablet visualisers with all the systems required to drive them, more avionics options and the reciprocating engine simulation that debuted with the Piston Duke. This expansion of the Analog Baron represents 1,000+ hours of dedication, and roughly a doubling of the aircraft’s code complexity. Flight Dynamics
The Baron Professional features a flight model with performance to match the real-world aircraft based on real Baron owner feedback and in-flight data. Engine and aerodynamic performance should be within 2% of POH values, though no two engines are ever the same. The flight model uses the most up to date features available in MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024, such as the new voxel CFD aerodynamics, CFD propeller, adverse yaw and stall parameters, and flexible tyre physics. Engine damage and fouling produce a rough running engine and decreased performance.
Paint Schemes
The Black Square Baron Professional comes with six paint schemes. The Baron Professional also comes with six interior upholstery packages that represent the aircraft through decades of service. This product makes use of Black Square’s highly customisable dynamic tail number system, which can be configured by livery makers. Note: If the support structure models for runway approach lights and PAPI lights disappear in the 2024 version, restarting the flight will resolve the issue (it does not significantly affect the flight as the lights will remain at normal brightness).
Features
1. Detailed Terminal Interiors: Through extensive onsite photos and manual modeling, most of the areas closely resemble the real-life airport (however, please note that the 1st and 3rd floor areas of the terminal are relatively simple, while the check-in area on the 2nd floor is detailed).
2. Realistic Ground Details: While my skills may not be perfect, I have made every effort to reflect ground wear and tear, with ground markings and signs almost identical to the real thing. Some areas have not been included as they are not publicly available, but the current level of detail should be sufficient.
3. Realistic Lighting Effects: This airport scenery enhances lighting effects and range to brighten up your airport, making it look more realistic.
4. Additional Buildings: Extra structures such as the control tower model, the Xiamen Airlines hangar, and parking spaces around the airport have been modeled as closely as possible to the real-world counterparts.
