Rivolto Air Base (LIPI)
The military airport of Rivolto has a very long history that goes back to the beginnings of aerial acrobatics. It is the place that, in March 1961, welcomed the first pilots of the Frecce Tricolori and is now inextricably linked to the name of the National Acrobatic Patrol (PAN). Today it is also the seat of the 2nd Stormo and is certainly one of the most known and visited places in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. The men who work there are constantly engaged in making it better and more hospitable. You can’t say that you know the PAN without visiting this small but important corner of the Air Force. (cit. Ghigi aviation)The air base of Rivolto is undergoing major changes, including the new runway, which has replaced an old taxiway; we hope to have rebuilt the base as it is or will be soon; if we have uncertainties result from the fact that even the images of Google Earth are still up to date and that the military authorities do not give information; what we reconstructed comes from information from third parties non-military.

It occupies an area of more than 5 km2. Daily, about 6 thousand people circulate through the terminal. More than 900 employees work at the airport complex to serve an average of 200,000 passengers per month. It has 54 daily flights, 27 flights arrive and 27 flights depart.
Every day, the airport has intense helicopter operations in order to transport employees to the oil platforms, located on the coast of Sergipe.
To deepen the studies on the history of aviation, the airport has a cultural space, a civil aviation memorial and a research center with texts, documents, reproductions in large formats.
It is 12 km from the center of Aracaju and is located in the southern region of the city, 3. 5 km from the main beaches and hotels in the capital. In addition to the daily scheduled flights of LATAM, Gol, Azul and VoePass. Chilean LAN Chile has already operated a charter flight to the city, with an Airbus A320, the Uruguayan PLUNA and the American American Airlines have already brought flights to the airport, also charter, both with the Boeing 757, being one of the largest aircraft to pass through on here.
The release of more than R $ 300 million in funds was confirmed for the construction of a new passenger terminal, expansion of the airstrip and takeoff and the new aircraft parking space. The works only started in 2013 with a deadline for completion in 2014.
In 2014, there was a movement around the alteration of the airport nomenclature. Aiming to honor the former PT governor Marcelo Déda, who died in December 2013 in full term of his mandate, the act seeks to recognize one of the greatest reformers of the political movement in the history of the state of Sergipe. This fact has heightened the local political spirit with the possibility of nominating the well-known parliamentarian Pedro Valadares who died in the same accident with the then presidential candidate Eduardo Campos in 2014. More recently, other more traditional and truly representative names of the local culture too have been mentioned, such as Silvio Romero and Tobias Barreto. The name "Santa Maria" is a reference to the river channel of the same name opened in 1902 that had the purpose of interconnecting the Poxim and Vaza-Barris rivers. This river channel runs to the bottom of the airport, separating it from the Santa Maria complex.
As of 2015, Aracaju International Airport is undergoing a new phase of renovation. In this stage, after completing the completion of another gate / landing gate, improvements were made to the instrumentation in the yard to support larger aircraft, as well as an increase in the aircraft management capacity in the yard, including taxiways. At the end of 2015, actions to reduce local taxes and that put a burden on airlines were implemented, a fact that caused the increase of 6 new daily flights, thus increasing the flow of passengers in the city in 2014.
In contrast to the aforementioned scenario, in 2016 new demands are being analyzed. New perspectives to establish Voepass Linhas Aéreas flights and international flights by TAP Portugal, Air Europa and Gol, among other airlines, are in a feasibility study in order to accelerate local connectivity with cities around the globe. In line with the increase in the influence of air flow in the region, it was announced that even in this current year of 2016, the GOL company will increase its number of flights to the capital of Sergipe from 64 to 82 weekly flights, that is, an instant increase of 18 flights. more than the current number.

Recife-Guararapes / Gilberto Freyre International Airport (IATA: REC, ICAO: SBRF) is an international airport located in the municipality of Recife, capital of the Brazilian state of Pernambuco. It is the main airport in the state of Pernambuco, and one of three that have regular passenger transport operations, together with Petrolina International Airport and Fernando de Noronha Airport. It is the busiest airport terminal in the North-Northeast of Brazil, and the eighth Brazilian airport in movement.
Located 12 km from the center of Recife, the airport caters to domestic and international passenger movements. It operates 24 hours a day and its name is an allusion to the historical fact of the Battles of the Guararapes, which occurred in the Brazilian colonial period on the Morro dos Guararapes, located on its west side.
Its construction predates the Second World War, and the conflict served to improve the structure of the Recife Air Base and, consequently, the airport itself. At the end of the 1940s, Recife became of great importance in air traffic, in the midst of the airways of the South Atlantic - Europe, due to its strategic geographical position. Its official name was given on July 2, 1948, when then-president Eurico Gaspar Dutra signed decree 25. 170-A, transforming Recife Airport, located in Campo do Ibura, at Guararapes Airport. The airport nomenclature was again changed on December 27, 2001, by Law No. 10,361, which established the name of Recife / Guararapes International Airport - Gilberto Freyre.
The current passenger terminal has the capacity to receive 16. 5 million passengers per year, which makes Guararapes Airport the largest, in annual capacity, in North-Northeast Brazil. In addition, it has a patio with 21 aircraft positions equipped with jetways (air-conditioned connectors); 64 check-in counters and 2,120 parking spaces. According to Infraero, its runway is 3,007 meters long. The airport was granted in 2019 to the Spanish company Aena Internacional, along with five other airport terminals in the Northeast region, for thirty years.

Derby Airfield is the home of Airspeed Aviation Limited (UK) and is the home of Derby Aero Club. Privately owned and run by the Jones family, the airfield is the only CAA licensed aerodrome in Derbyshire. Derby Aerodrome has a CAA Ordinary Licence (Number P785) that allows flights for flying instruction as authorised by the licensee (Derby Aero Club & Flying School). The aerodrome is not licensed for night use. All three runways are grass, and quite short, the longest being 594 meters. All three grass runways have some obstacles at the approach threshold, namely tall trees or electricity overhead lines; factors which add to the challenge. The scenery include a complete reconstruction of Derby airfield. Addition of custom objects such as the static aircrafts and bar bistro and a variety of airport clutter to populate the airfield. We have also modified the vegetation around the runways to reflect the real challenge of landing at this airfield. MSFS 2024 version includes: re-adjusted vegetations hieight around the airfield; adjusted terrain texture with creation of new grass areas; pathced orthophoto; sparse rocks around airfield clearing.

Fourth Romanian airport by number of passengers at the end of 2009, only surpassed by the two airports in Bucharest (OTP and BBU) and Timișoara, Cluj airport serves the entire northwest and the center of the country, that is Transylvania. The airport is named after the Transylvanian patriot Avram Iancu (1824-1872) protagonist of the Transylvanian Revolution. The airport was modernised in the 1960s: the new passenger terminal was opened in 1969 and new flight safety equipment was installed in 1970. Since 1996, goods have been handled and in August 1997 the Provincial Council became manager of the airport, immediately starting work on the expansion of the terminal and re-establishing the Budapest-Cluj Napoca flight making it international again.
