AIRCRAFT HISTORY
The Citation Latitude is an advanced, twin-engine, mid-size business jet developed and manufactured by American aviation company Cessna. Crewed by two, it can accommodate up to nine passengers, although typical configurations seat up to eight in its main cabin. A best-selling member of the vaunted Citation family, the Citation Latitude took its maiden flight on February 18, 2014, and Cessna began deliveries in August of 2015.
Engineers at Cessna based the Citation Latitude on their highly successful Cessna Model 680 Sovereign. The Model 680 took its maiden flight in February of 2002 and quickly established itself as a highly versatile offering due to its comfortable cabin, speed, long range, and exceptional short-field performance. To create the Citation Latitude, engineers at Cessna kept the Model 680 wing, engines, and empennage, and upgraded the fuselage. The Citation Latitude fuselage has a flat floor and is wider and taller than that of the Model 680, boasting stand-up room (6 feet from floor to ceiling).
The Cessna Citation Latitude features a low-mounted main wing with a swept leading edge and “swooplets,” small winglets for the mitigation of drag-inducing vortices. It has a cruciform empennage and a retractable tricycle undercarriage. Its cockpit has the Garmin G5000 avionics suite, comprising three 14-inch color LCD displays and four touchscreen controllers. The system includes Garmin Synthetic Vision, advanced diagnostics, graphical weather, dual Garmin communication / navigation units, and integrated autothrottles.
The aircraft measures 62 feet, 3 inches in length, stands 20 feet, 11 inches in height, and has a wingspan of 72 feet, 4 inches. It is powered by two fuselage-mounted Pratt and Whitney Canada PW306D1 turbofan engines, each of which generates 5,907 pounds of thrust. It has a maximum range of 3,100 miles, a service ceiling of 45,000 feet above sea level, and a maximum climb rate of 2,313 feet per minute. It cruises at 423 miles per hour and has a maximum speed of 513 miles per hour.
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Step into the cockpit of one of the best-selling midsize business jets in the world with this highly detailed simulation of the Cessna Citation Latitude. Built specifically for Microsoft Flight Simulator, it delivers an authentic flying experience with a meticulously accurate flight model and a beautiful, high-fidelity visual recreation of the aircraft’s sleek lines and spacious cabin.
The flight dynamics have been carefully developed to match real-world Citation Latitude behavior, capturing the stable handling characteristics of its straight wing and T-tail configuration. You’ll feel the crisp roll response, realistic pitch and trim behavior, and predictable performance in every phase of flight - from takeoff through high-altitude cruise to smooth landings on shorter runways.
Powered by two FADEC-equipped Pratt & Whitney Canada PW306D1 engines, the Latitude offers excellent thrust response and realistic engine performance that closely reflects the real aircraft. The model also features a highly detailed 3D cockpit and passenger cabin with animated switches, realistic lighting, and high-resolution textures throughout.
Whether you’re making quick hops between cities or flying longer 2,000+ nm legs, this simulation lets you experience the Citation Latitude’s perfect balance of comfort, efficiency, and capability. From the quiet, stand-up cabin to the impressive short-field performance, it’s easy to see why the real aircraft remains a favorite in the midsize segment.
Smooth, capable, and thoroughly enjoyable to fly. The Citation Latitude is now available in stunning detail for your simulator.

FLARE Landing Analyser for MSFS 2024

FLARE is a precision landing analyser for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. It runs alongside the sim and grades every landing in real time, using the same kinds of thresholds airline FOQA programs use to flag landings: vertical speed at touchdown, peak G, centerline accuracy, runway distance, and stability through final approach.

Know exactly how good your landings are.
Per-aircraft scoring profiles for 451 airframes across 26 categories, from a Cessna 152 to a Boeing 777-300ER to a Cameron Z-90 hot-air balloon. Each profile is tuned to the aircraft's real-world FCOM limits, with a wind-difficulty modifier so a 25-knot crosswind doesn't punish you the way calm air does.
A second-monitor companion. FLARE runs as a standalone Windows window, optimised for placement on a side monitor so it never competes with MSFS for screen real estate. The touchdown popup appears the instant you're on the ground, and a full review with score breakdown, instrument trace, and personalised coaching is always one click away.
Full approach trace. Every flight from 1,000 ft AGL through rollout is recorded: vertical speed, G force, pitch, bank, sideslip, glide-path deviation, localizer offset, airspeed, gear and flap configuration, all timestamped and graphable.
Local logbook + optional cloud sync. Landings are stored in a local SQLite database (CSV / JSON export anytime). With your free flaresim. io account, opt into cloud sync for statistics, achievements, leaderboards, and the Debrief feature.
Account-aware on shared PCs. If you re-activate FLARE on this PC with a different flaresim. io account (family sharing, switching accounts, or selling the PC), FLARE detects the change and offers to clear the local landing history that belongs to the previous owner, or keep it visible. Your data always stays attached to whichever account uploaded it.
A+ to F grading anchored to FAA, EASA, and FCOM thresholds, with a tail-strike penalty for aircraft prone to it. No vague “good landing!” verdicts: see exactly where you nailed it and where you didn't.
One licence covers up to 2 PCs. Lifetime updates for the supported life of MSFS 2024 included.
