DDI (DYNAMIC DRAG INDEX)
The SSW F/RF-104G uses the Dynamic Drag Index concept; i. e. when you load/drop external loads not only is the GW changed but also the drag coefficient is affected and the model aerodynamics change accordingly. This is particularly important in the F-104 where external loads affect greatly the dynamic behaviour of the model.

Differences between the Just Flight Turbo Arrow III/IV and Arrow III
- The Turbo Arrow add-on includes two variants of the Arrow: the Turbo Arrow III (conventional tail) and the Turbo Arrow IV (T-tail)
- The Turbo Arrows' engine cowling, which houses the turbocharged TSIO-360, gives the aircraft a more sporty look (especially with the T-tail)
- Blue/grey cockpit colour scheme on the Turbo Arrow III; tan on the Turbo Arrow IV
- The cleaner, less worn cockpits of the Turbo Arrows reflect private ownership (versus the flying club ownership of Arrow III)
- Turbocharged engine sounds and some cockpit sounds (e. g. fuel pump)
- Differences in panel configuration – fuel primer push-button, two-position (high/low) fuel pump switch, engine instruments differ (EGT gauge, temperature and pressure indicators)

Velocity XL
The Velocity is a family of home-built, high-performance, composite construction, single-engine aircraft. Notably, the Velocity has canard-style airfoils rather than a conventional main wing for lift, and counteracting tail surfaces for control and stability. Nearly 1,000 proud Velocity owners have assembled and fabricated parts to complete the aircraft of their dreams in a process that takes around 2,000 hours of work. The builder is rewarded with one of the highest performance piston singles on the market, and an aircraft that meets their exact specifications. The original Velocity was designed by Danny Maher, and debuted at the 1986 Sun-N-Fun Aerospace Expo in Lakeland, Florida, USA. The modern Velocity models are the result of several redesigns by the current owners, Scott and Duane Swing. Black Square's Velocity XL is modelled after a top-end Velocity build, with an upgraded 400HP Continental TSIO-550 fitted with dual turbochargers, giving the aircraft a critical altitude of 24,000 feet and ground speeds of over 400 MPH. Just Flight are excited to bring you the 146 ‘Whisper Jet’ – featuring the 100, 200 and 300 series of this classic British airliner. The design process of what was to become the 146-100 began under Hawker Siddeley in 1973, when the iconic high T-tail, short undercarriage, four engines and distinctive airbrake were chosen to produce a regional airliner with short-field performance and quiet operation. The 146-100 first flew in 1981, followed by the stretched 200 series in 1982 and the 300 series in 1988.
The Royal Air Force purchased three 146-100s in 1986 and these were operated by The Queen's Flight, designated the CC. Mk2 ‘Statesman’ and equipped with VIP cabins. The aircraft were used to transport the British royal family and senior members of the UK military and government.
The 146 was also popular with cargo operators due to its excellent capacity and low engine noise, allowing for night flights into city airports. Two cargo variants were developed: the convertible passenger and freight variant (QC) and the freight-only Quiet Trader (QT). The Royal Air Force also operated two 200QC aircraft, designated the C. Mk3.
Eight variants of the 146 are included in this product – the 100 to 300 passenger variants, the 200QC and QT, 300 QT, RAF CC. Mk2 ‘Statesman’ and C. Mk3 – offering a wide variety of configurations, ranges and flight operations across the globe.
The exterior models are stunningly detailed, featuring 8K and 4K textures for incredible clarity and the latest Physical Based Rendering (PBR) material technology to produce realistic metallic, plastic and glass surfaces. Realistic animations include trailing-edge flap mechanisms, spoilers, large tail-mounted airbrake and all passenger and cargo doors.
The Captain and First Officer positions in the cockpit are modelled with hundreds of functional switches, knobs and controls. The aircraft features complex custom-coded systems based on real-world FCOMs, including hydraulic, electrical, fuel and pressurisation, and the cockpit is also fitted with a functional Thrust Management System (TMS) and comprehensive navigation equipment which includes traditional navigation equipment for tracking VORs, NDBs and ILSs, as well as two types of FMS for RNAV navigation.
The aircraft are brought to life with immersive dynamic lighting and 3D Wwise sounds, with unique flight dynamics for each variant and custom effects from condensation and contrails to realistic exterior lighting.
The 146 was flown all around the world and over 40 airline liveries from the UK, USA, Europe and Australia are included, bringing you many iconic airlines and paint schemes.

EDML - Landshut Airfield
Welcome to the commercial airfield Landshut-Ellermühle EDML in the heart of Bavaria.
Landshut is located northeast of Munich Airport EDDM next to Moosburg at an altitude (elevation) of 1312 ft (400 m above MSL). The runways are aligned to the east with RWY 07 and the runway to the west with RWY 25 with a runway length of 900m and 23m width.

Landshut is located northeast of Munich Airport EDDM next to Moosburg at an altitude (elevation) of 1312 ft (400 m above MSL). The runways are aligned to the east with RWY 07 and the runway to the west with RWY 25 with a runway length of 900m and 23m width.
After five years of planning, the construction of the airfield was started in 1961, and officially the airfield was opened on August 26, 1962.
The air sports club Landshut then began flight operations with a single hangar and a grass runway, and later in 1967 a restaurant and a tower were added. Since 2002, the municipal utility company of Landshut is the owner of the airfield and the "Landen in Landshut GmbH" is the official operator. The airfield has had an intense past with airfield opponents, but fortunately it could be preserved and also modernized until today. The airfield is an uncontrolled airfield without control zone - due to the proximity to the airspace Charlie of Munich control zone with 3500 ft the approach as well as departure must be made here with special care and attention - the airfield round height is 2500 ft MSL as north airfield round. Special attention must also be paid to the localities and noise regulations during departure.
There is now a modern tower that has been put into operation as well as hangars, Construction buildings and a restaurant with culinary delights. There are also rental bicycles on site to explore the wonderful city of Landshut.
Our Landshut airfield is the perfect complement to Bavarian Airfields Vol. 1, which includes the neighboring Moosburg airfield.
- Every building as well as the tower and the restaurant at the airfield was modeled after the original down to the last detail - for this the airfield was flown to in real life and many detail shots were taken
- Close cooperation with the airfield operator on site to create an atmosphere like in reality - special thanks to the airfield operators of Landshut for the information, photos and drone shots.
- The approach sector around the airfield was recreated in detail with streets, stadium and highway as well as solar fields.
