Airport Overview:
Birmingham Airport is located in the West Midlands of England, roughly 8 miles southeast of the city centre. It serves as the UK’s seventh busiest airport by passenger numbers, acting as a key hub for both domestic and international travel.
Airport History:
Birmingham Airport (formerly Elmdon Airport) officially opened on 8 July 1939, built on the site of the former Castle Bromwich aerodrome to replace the increasingly inadequate Elmdon airfield. During World War II, the airport was requisitioned by the Air Ministry and served as both an RAF and Royal Navy base—primarily used for flight training and aircraft production. Civilian operations resumed on 8 July 1946, exactly seven years after its opening. Following the war, Birmingham experienced steady commercial growth. In 1984, Terminal 1 was unveiled, followed by the addition of Terminal 2 in 1991, significantly expanding passenger handling capabilities. The two terminals were consolidated into one integrated terminal in 2011—creating today’s configuration, featuring gates 1–20 in the old Terminal 2 and the rest in Terminal 1, linked via the Millennium Link. Infrastructure improvements continued into the 21st century—in 2014, major runway extension works concluded, stretching the primary runway 15/33 to 3,052 m (10,013 ft), enhancing the airport’s capacity for handling larger aircraft and long-haul flights

Navigation Details:
Runway 15/33: 3,052 m × 46 m (10,013 ft × 148 ft). ILS Frequency: Both Runways 15 and 33 share the ILS frequency of 110. 10 MHz, with respective inbound course headings approximately 148° (RWY 15) and 328° (RWY 33)
Performance optimised:
This scenery is made with performance in mind. As such details you don't see from the cockpit of your aircraft while flying in and out are kept to a minimum. So don't except to walk through the terminal or other parts that can only be seen by slewing to other areas. I believe most flight simmers, fly in and fly out, and the want it to be smooth. Sacrifices have to be made to achieve this goal. If you want to explore the airport coffee shop or checkin, then this is NOT the product for you.
The scenery uses multiple 'LODs' for all the main objects, these lods levels have been made so you don't notice the change over much. This has been tested and developed in VR which is most noticeable platform for visually annoying LOD changes. Setting your FS object Level of details to 80 or higher is a good compromise. You can use 40+ in flat screen and you will not noticed big Lod changes to the models.

- Rich ground details: PBR (Physically Based Rendering) ground textures and custom dirt marks are applied. The dirt marks on runways that cannot be cleaned after long-term use are recreated, and ground lines have the texture of real-world paint—showing surface reflection at night.
- Innovative custom functions: In addition to standard features of custom airports (approach lights, strobe approach lights, runway centerline lights, taxiway edge lights, runway exit lights, runway guard lights, airport interior lights, high-rise strobe anti-collision lights, taxiway signs, animated wind socks, dynamic on-site vehicles, custom jet bridges), the following are added:
- 180m-tall industrial cooling towers with water vapor that changes direction with the wind;
- Custom audio, including offline terminal boarding announcements, VIP lounge music, airport security prompts, and elevator safety alerts;
- "Scare eyes" (bird deterrent devices) whose rotation speed changes with wind force to repel surrounding birds (though currently non-functional for bird repulsion); airport bird deterrents also play deterrent sounds automatically;
- Terminal "sleep mode": interior lights dim from 23:00 to 05:00 daily;
- Time retrograde function: if you set the in-game time to before January 1, 2023, the text on the terminal roof will change from "Shuofang" to "Sunan Shuofang".
- The total polygon count of all models is approximately 300,000-500,000. This relatively high count is due to splitting large models into smaller ones, followed by LOD (Level of Detail) processing. During gameplay, not all polygons load at once—high-detail models load when you are near, and low-detail models load when you are far away. This ensures game performance and reduces rendering computational load.
- Airport data is produced in accordance with Wuxi Airport specifications. Runway slope, ILS (Instrument Landing System), and signal towers are consistent with what is indicated on aeronautical charts. The PAPI (Precision Approach Path Indicator) light angle is 3 degrees. As this is a public airport, aircraft models using third-party data can also fly normally here.

General information:
El Calafate "Comandante Armando Tola" International Airport, (IATA: FTE - ICAO: SAWC - FAA: ECA) is an airport serving the city of El Calafate, in the province of Santa Cruz, Argentina. The airport is located 23 km from the city center.
It has a single track of 2,550 x 45 m and a terminus of 2,800 m². The airport was built by the Government of the Province of Santa Cruz in two stages:
Runway, Platform, Taxiway and Access Road: through the General Administration of Provincial Highways (AGVP), public tender awarded to the companies Esuco SA - Decavial SA UTE, start date: October 1997. Completion date: May 1999. Construction Inspector for AGVP: Ing. Alejandro Sofía, Technical Representative and Construction Manager: Ing. Mauro Guatti.
Terminal Building: a year later, through a public works concession from the Government of the Province of Santa Cruz, the construction and operation of the Terminal Building and Infrastructure was awarded to the London Supply Company, who appointed Mario Feldman as general director of works ( 1941-2003). It was inaugurated in November 2000. It was built to replace the Lago Argentino Airport. This airport has undergone a significant expansion carried out in 2014. This has increased the operational capacity and the concurrence factor. In 2016 it received about 12 daily flights and together with the new SAMIC Hospital in El Calafate inaugurated in 2015, the airport has improved its category.
The terminal was designed by Carlos Ott, a Canadian nationalized Uruguayan architect, who was also responsible for the passenger terminal at the International Airport of Ushuaia and Punta del Este - Uruguay. For this reason, the terminals have similar characteristics: a rich stone design and cantilevered roof plans, appropriate to the climatic characteristics of the area.

Button Controls: Heading (HDG), Altitude (ALT), Flight Level Change (FLC), NAV Mode (NAV), Vertical Navigation (VNAV), Change Over (C/O), Autopilot (AP), Flight Director (FD). Rotary Dials & LCD Screen: Real-time values for course, heading, altitude, and vertical speed. Rotate the rotary dials left or right to increase or decrease values. For Course and Heading controls, Press the knob or tap the LCD to synchronise heading. For Altitude control, tap the LCD to toggle ALT mode, or press the knob to toggle FLC. For V/S control, press the knob or tap the LCD to toggle VS mode.

Button Controls: Approach Mode (APP), Half Bank (BANK), Vertical Speed (VS), Back Course Mode (BC), Stand By (STBY), Yaw Damper (YD). Rotary Dials & LCD Screen: Real-time frequency values for COM1/COM2 (Active and Standby). Rotate rotary dials 1 and 2 to change the standby frequency for COM1 and dials 3 & 4 for COM2. Tap the screen or press a rotary dial to swap between standby and active.

Button Controls: VORS, APTS, ERR, VRT, WIND, BARO Unit, Metric, RTN. Rotary Dials: Real-time frequency values for NAV1/NAV2 (Active and Standby). Rotate rotary dials 1 and 2 to change the standby frequency for NAV1 and dials 3 & 4 for NAV2. Tap the screen or press a rotary dial to swap between standby and active.

Rotary Dials & LCD Screen: Rotate the rotary dials left or right to change the PFD Brightness, MFD Brightness, MFD Zoom, or BARO. For BARO control, press the knob to set Standard pressure, or tap the LCD to change BARO unit.

Button Controls: External lighting controls for recognition, nav, emergency, anti-collision, tail flood, taxi, and landing lights. Press a button to turn on and off or hold (long press) to access a third state (i. e auto). Rotary Dials & LCD Screen: Rotate the rotary dials left or right to increase or decrease lighting values.

We regularly update our Stream Deck Profiles to include new features, functionality and bug fixes and we're delighted to provide these free of cost, for the duration of the products lifespan. Installation is performed through the Flight Panels All-In-One Installer, which automatically installs and configures third party applications (FSUIPC7, PilotsDeck, . NET Runtimes etc. ) to make installation a breeze.

The CSS 737 Classic is a series of narrow-body airliners for MSFS 2020 with EXPERIMENTAL MSFS 2024 SUPPORT. The package includes the 737-500, with the 737-300/-400 and their freighter variants, as well as full MSFS 2024 support, coming later at no additional cost. At the moment, only the 737-500 passenger version is available.
