The airport has two parallel runways: 9/27 (asphalt and grass) 30 metres wide and 1000 metres long (the grass runway is 700 metres long). In 2001, it was decided to extend the runway running in a west-east direction to 1800 m. Due to a lack of finances, the expansion plans have been on hold since 2005. With effect from January 1, 2009, the operation of the airfield was leased from the municipal airport Magdeburg GmbH to the private FMB Flugplatz Magdeburg Betriebsgesellschaft mbH for an initial period of 10 years.
There are neither charter nor scheduled flights. The runway is too short for some of the jets in question. The airfield is used primarily by aviation enthusiasts (glider pilots, parachutists), ultralight pilots and private pilots as well as for sightseeing flights.
Have a good lunch at SKADI'S restaurant and tour the Tupolev 134 before taking off from this awesome airport.

Lake Tahoe Airport (IATA: TVL, ICAO: KTVL, FAA LID: TVL) is a public airport three miles southwest of South Lake Tahoe, in El Dorado County, California.
Located on the south end of Lake Tahoe, the airport is located 6,264 feet above mean sea level (MSL). Its single runway (18-36) is 8,544 feet long by 150 feet wide. There are mountains off the south end of the runway that tower up to more than 10,000 feet MSL. The rapidly rising terrain forms a restricting funnel that can trap the unwary... Lake Tahoe Airport (IATA: TVL, ICAO: KTVL, FAA LID: TVL) is a public airport three miles southwest of South Lake Tahoe, in El Dorado County, California.

There are mountains off the south end of the runway that tower up to more than 10,000 feet MSL. The rapidly rising terrain forms a restricting funnel that can trap the unwary pilot flying a marginally performing aircraft southbound. The airport can be challenging with unpredictable weather and harsh terrain but, still an amazing airport to fly at. Several aviation magazines routinely list KTVL in the top 10 USA General Aviation airports to visit.
Beginning in 1962 it had a few airline flights: the first were on Futura Airlines, an intrastate airline, and on Paradise Airlines, both flying Lockheed L-049 Constellations. According to the Official Airline Guide, six regional and commuter airlines were serving Lake Tahoe in spring 1981 including Air Sierra, Aspen Airways, Cal Sierra Airlines, Golden Gate Airlines, Golden West Airlines and Great Sierra Airlines with a combined total of up to 24 flights a day. The April 1, 1981 OAG edition lists nonstop flights from Burbank, Fresno, Los Angeles, Oakland, Orange County, Reno, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose and Truckee, CA. Due to budget cuts in 2001, the FAA ceased funding on-site weather observers who had also served as the airport's air traffic controllers. Unable to find replacement funding, the South Lake Tahoe city council voted to close the airport's Air Traffic Control Tower on October 1, 2004. Despite the tower's closure, the airport continues to serve general aviation traffic using self-announce procedures for uncontrolled airports. Beginning in 2006, the airport's former commercial airline terminal building was renovated and converted into a new city hall and administrative services office for the City of South Lake Tahoe. Relocating to airport land allowed the city to counter rising lease costs at their old location near Al-Tahoe. Renovations completed and the new city hall opened in 2007.

The goal of this scenery is to supply you with the experience of actually visiting the Livingstone airport as much as possible in the simulator by detailing the interiors along with the surrounding buildings. As a result it's a bit on the heavy side so if your running a low-end machine or you're an FPS junky, this add-on probably isn't for you. I would recommend a beefy medium-end to high-end system with a GPU of at least 8 GB VRAM. I will go back and try to optimize textures and poly count as much as possible, in order to help improve performance. I've been told, AutoFPS a freeware add-on by Vasco Ferreira, greatly helps improve FPS.

In November 1983 Hurricane Iwa hit Kauai and caused millions of dollars in damage to homes, businesses and agricultural land. Lihue Airport did not have the capacity to handle all the emergency flights bringing in supplies, so some smaller planes landed at Princeville. The state entered into a lease agreement with the owner of Princeville Airport on Decembe... The airport opened in 1977 as a quasi-public general aviation airport. Two commuter airlines served the airport with frequent daily flights. In November 1983 Hurricane Iwa hit Kauai and caused millions of dollars in damage to homes, businesses and agricultural land. Lihue Airport did not have the capacity to handle all the emergency flights bringing in supplies, so some smaller planes landed at Princeville. The state entered into a lease agreement with the owner of Princeville Airport on December 5, 1994, to take over the operations and maintenance of the airport. It was anticipated that the airfield would become part of the State Airport System. In January 1997 Island Air ceased flying passengers from Princeville Airport. It had been using an 18-passenger de Havilland Dash-8 plane on two daily trips to Honolulu. The State decided to drop its management lease of Princeville Airport in 1999. On May 1, 2019, Makani Kai Air began twice daily service between Honolulu International Airport and Princeville Airport on Kauai. The airport had been without commercial airline service for more than 20 years after the departure of Island Air in 1997. Since the merger with Mokulele Airlines, commercial flights from Princeville are no longer offered. Now there a helicopter tours around Kauai operated by Blue Helicopters and charter flights on "Piper PA-31 Navajo" to Oahu by Princeville Air.
