Governador Valadares is a Brazilian municipality in the interior of the state of Minas Gerais, in the southeastern region of the country. It is located in the Vale do Rio Doce and is located about 320 km east of the state capital. It occupies an area of just over 2,342 km², of which approximately 58 km² is in an urban area, and its population in 2020 was 281,046 inhabitants, positioning itself as the ninth most populous in the state of Minas Gerais.

The exploration of the region of the current city began in the sixteenth century, on expeditions like the one of Sebastião Fernandes Tourinho who followed the course of the Doce River in search of precious metals on its banks. However, the settlement was only started between the 18th and 19th centuries, with the installation of barracks designed to monitor attacks by the Botocudos Indians against colonists and traders who sailed on the Doce River. With the lease of EFVM, around 1907, the settlement was consolidated, whose location close to coffee producers and logging favored commercial development and population growth. Thus, the municipality was emancipated from Peçanha in the 1930s.
After the 1940s, the extraction of mica and precious stones brought a strong population growth, alongside livestock and trade. However, with the decline of natural resources and agriculture, capital turnover was only possible with the inflow of income sent by emigrants who went to other countries, especially the United States. Commercial activity is the main source of income generated in the city, along with agro-industry and the processing of regional products.
The city is bathed by the Doce River and has as its important natural landmark the Pico da Ibituruna, which can be seen from almost the entire municipality and offers the opportunity for free flight climbing and jumping, including national and international championships of this modality. Events such as GV Folia and Expoagro GV are also the main attractions.

Several members of the Damme Aeroclub joined forces, acquired the airfield, and founded the company Verkehrslandeplatz Damme Besitzgesellschaft (Damme Public Landing Site Ownership Company) . Since then, the airfield areas have been leased to Verkehrslandeplatz Damme Betriebsgesellschaft (Damme Public Landing Site Operating Company) , whose shareholders are also the airfield owners.
On 20 March 2012, a retired Transall aircraft of the German Armed Forces , first registered in 1970, landed on the grounds of Damme Airfield and has since been exhibited there by the Museum of Technology, Nature and Aviation.
Either you fly aircraft, glider or helicopter, just take off from Damme.

Jaydee´s Efb - Checklist App
This addon integrates an app into the defautl MSFS 2024 EFB, which allows you to show all the checklists I created.
This is similar to my Ingame Toolbar Checklists Mod, which is available for free on flightsim. to.
The only big difference, besides the integration into the EFB instead of the toolbar at the top of the screen is, that the EFB APP also works in the career mode, at least for now.

HOW TO PLAY:
Start the game anywhere in the world on the water or seaplane track, click the ignition key to start the boat engine, PRESS THE UP/DOWN KEY ON THE JOYSTICK TO REMOVE THE ANCHOR, put the engine at 100% and wait a few seconds for the boat to start moving. Water trails start with the slowest speed you are on. The boat does not have a reverse motor. Use the elevator UP command to move your boat backwards.
Use the aileron controls to turn left and right. The rudder controls simulate axial movement control and do not activate the steering wheel animation, only the aileron control activates the steering wheel animation, as it is the main control method.
There is a tablet on the left panel with key blinds for ease of use in MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024.
There are buttons to turn on/off neon lights and instructions to turn on/off navigation lights.
IMPORTANT: In MSFS 2020, the autopilot is engaged via the "Y" button on the joystick. In MSFS 2024, consider configuring your joystick with this same button assigned to make it easier to use. It is important to note that the autopilot has one function: HDG lock. Therefore, when activating the autopilot, the HDG lock will be automatic, without the need for any other intervention. Configure buttons to facilitate the change of heading course on your joystick to make the autopilot easier to use.
Example: we recommend configuring the decrease in heading definition with the following button combination: "X" + "A" + "LB". To increase heading definition, use "X" + "A" + "RB".
Do the same procedure in MSFS 2020 and 2024.
IMPORTANT: JUST AS YOU WOULD NOT DO IN REAL LIFE, DO NOT GO OUT IN THE SEA WITH WAVES HIGHER THAN 104 KNOTS (193KM/H) AT THE RISK OF CAPSIZING THE BOAT AS IT WOULD HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE.
DURING THE SIMULATION, THE SINKING OF THE BOAT IS NOT DRAMATIC AND UNEXPECTED EFFECTS MAY OCCUR CAUSED BY THE SIMULATION ENVIRONMENT ITSELF AND NOT BY A PRODUCT DEFECT
It is important to note that the autopilot may behave poorly at low speeds. Consider using it only at high speeds to simulate cruising.
In MSFS 2024, the passenger may be hidden by default. Consider using the EFB to add it to the payload menu.
MSFS 2020/2024 does not have a realistic drift in the water, so navigation is still imprecise in several aspects. Do not expect extreme realism - the focus of this add-on is to provide a visual and enjoyable experience for those looking for alternatives to flying. Each instrument on the boat, livery and modeling was made with great care, affection and attention to detail to meet the highest commercial standards that MSFS and other markets demand, but for several other reasons that go beyond the developer, sailing with boats in MSFS is a challenge that is not always pleasant. Always keep in mind that everything was done to ensure that you have the best possible experience despite the limitations.
It is important to say that Microsoft Flight Simulator is a game being released in its initial version. The boat was built, approved and published from the Dev Alpha provided by Microsoft, and unexpected situations may happen until the game reaches a stable version. Please understand that unexpected situations may not be a defect of the product, but of the Simulator.
