The Machine:
A fully aerobatic, very-light Jet that compares to the Bede BD-5J, but heavier and sporting two instead of one TRS-18 turbojets. Up to Mach 0. 47 and 650 NM of range, with a service ceiling of 25000ft. A low stall speed (for a jet) makes the aircraft good for short field operations. Certified for VFR operations only, yet includes a good avionics suite. This is a "Classic" aircraft featuring "Steam" gauges and radios. Yet, controls and systems are easy to operate.

The History:
The C-22J is the last aircraft to be adorned with the legendary Caproni name. Originally known as "Caproncino", then marketed as "Ventura". A very-light jet developed in the 1980s as a military trainer, surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft. Powered by two TRS-18 turbojets fed from a dorsal NACA intake, the aircraft reached Mach 0. 47 and was fully aerobatic. The airframe shows its origin in a glider design, the Caproni A-21 Calif. After the merger with SIAI Marchetti, the project was cancelled in favor of the SF-260.

The failure system allows for persistent wear, MTBF and scheduled failures for nearly every component in the aircraft. The 3D gauges are affected by physics and can even become stuck without engine vibration, requiring a tap on the glass to free them.
Radio navigation systems are available from several eras of the C208’s history. Fly without GPS via a Bendix KNS-80 RNAV system, or with the convenience of a Garmin GTN 750/650 (PMS50 or TDS). Other radio equipment includes KX-155 radios, KLN-90B, GNS 530/430, KAP 140 Autopilot and an RDR1150XL Weather Radar. A 145+ page manual provides instruction on all equipment, and 42 in-game checklists with control highlighting are included for normal and emergency procedures.
This product includes only the Caravan Amphibian and Cargomaster, with 675 shaft-horsepower PT6A-114A engines, and improved de-icing systems. The Passenger edition with/without cargopod is sold separately, or available to buy as part of a discounted Caravan Professional Bundle.
ANALOG CARAVAN OWNERS: While the panel of the Caravan Professional might look familiar, almost all other aspects of the aircraft have been rebuilt with Black Square’s current technology and high standards of quality. The major additions include custom exterior models, custom sound package from Boris Audio Works, higher quality materials with modifications for each model of aircraft, fine-tuned performance tables, tablet visualisers with all the systems required to drive them, more avionics options, and the turbine engine simulation that debuted with the Turbine Duke. This expansion of the Analog Caravan represents 1,000+ hours of dedication and roughly a doubling of the aircraft’s code complexity. Once you experience Black Square’s latest technology in your favorite C208, the difference will be clear!

Black Square’s Caravan Professional features a custom sound set, created by Boris Audio Works and recorded from the real aircraft. High quality engine and cockpit sounds will immerse you in the simulation. Sounds such as engine starting are not mere recordings, but are instead many layered sounds, constructed based on the underlying simulation.
FLIGHT DYNAMICS
The Caravan Professional features a flight model with performance to match the real-world aircraft, based on real Caravan pilot feedback and in-flight data. Engine and aerodynamic performance should be within 2% of POH values, though no two engines are ever the same. The flight model uses the most up-to-date features available in MSFS 2020 & 2024, such as the new voxel CFD aerodynamics, CFD propeller, adverse yaw and stall parameters, and flexible tyre physics. Engine damage produces a rough-running engine and decreased performance.
PAINT SCHEMES
The Black Square Caravan Professional comes with twelve paint schemes across all variants and also with five interior upholstery packages. This product makes use of Black Square’s highly customisable dynamic tail number system, which can be configured by livery makers. Cessna 140
The Cessna 140 was introduced in 1949, following on from the 120. Uprated engines and improved landing gear were among the changes and provided the aviation public with an aeroplane that was comfortable and easy to fly.
The 140 stands out from other Cessnas with its unique "art deco", automotive style instrument panels. The interior layout is simply but comfortably furnished and everything is to hand.
