We have lovingly recreated the many marinas, ports and harbours that skirt the coastline of these islands and provide vital tourist and commercial trade to the local area.
This scenery covers the coastline of all 9 main islands from Ilha das Flores and Corvo, to the west; Graciosa, Terceira, São Jorge, Pico, and Faial in the centre; and São Miguel, Santa Maria, and the Formigas islets to the east. Each has its own airport so are great for island hopping low level flights.
This pack introduces over 500 moving leisure and commercial vessels near and around the islands together with moving, landable cruise ships and thousands of static vessels filling the many ports and marinas. You will also find local ferry services here operating their usual routes. The scenery further includes watermasks in the main areas as well as fixes to vegetation and water/terrain elevation.

The opening ceremony was attended by visitors and aircraft from various parts of America, the foreign ministers and ambassadors of the two countries, along with various national, regional and municipal authorities from Uruguay and Brazil (especially the ministers of Transportation and Public Works of the country). host and that of Ports and Airports of Brazil), parliamentarians, as well as the top officials of the concessionaire Aeropuertos del Uruguay / Corporación América.
Rivera International Airport "Presidente General (Military Aviator Pilot) don Óscar D. Gestido" (IATA: RVY, ICAO: SURV) is a public airport serving the city of Rivera, in Uruguay, located 10 km southeast of the city, and southwest of Cerro Chapeu, which gave it its name until 1999. It also serves the Brazilian city of Santana do Livramento. It was inaugurated on June 16, 1979, and since 1999 it has been named after the Uruguayan military man, politician and ruler Óscar Diego Gestido. Until then it was called Rivera International Airport "Cerro Chapeu".
Rivera Airport is managed and maintained by the Ministry of National Defense. The equipment and technology of this terminal has become almost obsolete due to financial limitations, so in December 2020 the Uruguayan government created the National System of International Airports (SNAI), in order to prioritize the development of airport services in the country. In April 2021, it was established that Rivera would be one of the eight airports that would integrate this system. The executive branch plans to put out to tender the concession of its operations to private companies for a minimum of 30 and a maximum of 50 years. The requirements are to carry out infrastructure and runway conditioning works, flight control technology and modernization of ground services to increase the capacity of passenger and cargo aircraft.
The aerodrome has a single landing strip, 05/23, with bitumen treatment and 1,830 meters long and 45 meters wide, with capacity for up to 30 tons, which allows a Boeing 737 to operate.

Between 1971 and 2015, with the creation of the Santa Maria Air Force Base, civil and military facilities were shared. However, in 2015 an agreement between the Brazilian Air Force and the Municipality of Santa Maria, transferred part of the facilities to the latter. The civil portion of the aerodrome is administered by the Municipality and the military portion by the Brazilian Air Force. It shares a modern new control tower
At this moment there is only one regular airline using the airport, this is Azul Brazilian Airlines flying to Porto Alegre.
Santa Maria has two runway:
Runway 11-29 8839'
Runway 02-20 4938' (only used by the military)
The airport has an ILS approach for Runway 11 110. 3 'ISM'
Various military types use the airport including the AMX Jet trainer and C130 Hercules aircraft, but the C130 is now being phased out in favour of the new Embraer KC390 transport/tanker aircraft.

HISTORY
LFBP Pau Pyrénées Airport (Aéroport Pau Pyrénées) is an airport serving Pau, France.
It is located about 10 km (6. 2 mi) northwest of Pau in the commune of Uzein, in the "département of Pyrénées-Atlantiques".
Its great and long term story begins with the roots of flight, with the Wright Brothers.
It was first flew in 1909, at the Wright Brothers flight school built in Pau due to its mild weather compared to the other candidate in Le Mans.
The same year, Louis Blériot, after crossing the English Channel on his Blériot XI monoplane, came back to Pau to open his Flight Training School.
This brought a lot of attention and the airport was soon location for new facilities which were born in the surroundings.
Finally, in 1912 even the French Army, after setting up a proper Military Flight License, decided to set up a Military Flying School right there in Pau, turning it into one of the greatest and largest Flying Schools in France.
Before World War II began, a large number of Aeronautical Companies set up base in the Adour basin, and straight after the end of the War, the industry had a boom.
Dassault opened in Anglet, Fouga and Potez in Aire-sur-l'Adour, Turbomeca in Bordes and Tanos, Messier in Arudy and Daher-Socata in Tarbes Ossun.
This brought by consequence a number of sub-contractors to move or open subsudiaries in the area, making Pau and the surroundings the glory of flight it is now.
LFBP Pau Pyrenees now hosts in the southern part at the Heli Base the 5e régiment d'hélicoptères de combat (5th Combat Helicopter Regiment) and the 4e Régiment d'Hélicoptères des Forces Spéciales (4th Special Forces Helicopter Regiment), making it critical and one of the most important Military Facilities in France.
