The airport became a hub for the first time in March 2010, when Ryanair decided to base seven of its aircraft there. The airport gets very busy during the summer months, namely from March to October, to the extent that the airport becomes a slot coordinated airport.
Faro Airport is capable of handling six million passengers a year. There are 22 stands of which 16 are remote, with 60 check-in desks and 36 boarding gates.
Since its opening in 1966 Faro airport has had two major developments, the new passenger terminal building in 1989 and its enlargement in 2001. Faced with growing traffic demand and passenger safety and satisfaction needs, the development plan for 2009–2013, means Faro airport undergoes extensive improvements to runway and infrastructure as well as a widespread renovation of the airport terminal and commercial areas.
Faro has flights from the following airlines:

Recognizable with its unique silhouette, the OV-10 Bronco is one of the most famous light attack and observation aircraft. Initially developed in the 1960s and extensively use in several countries, it has proven to be a durable and flexible platform, and is still flying today for various roles including firefighting. With its short takeoff and landing (STOL) capabilities, the Bronco can operate from unimproved sites and even from aircraft carriers. Its maneuverability and a cockpit that offers unparalleled visibility make it a pleasure to fly. The development has been conducted along with real OV-10 pilots, helping us to reproduce the aircraft faithfully, especially its famous fixed shaft turboprop engines. We also had access to a flying Bronco from which we were able to gather everything we needed for the development, from pictures to sound recordings. We once more pushed our limits compared to our previous aircraft to provide you an immersive experience. All the systems have been reproduced and are functional, based on a great layer of custom code. Our work is based on the OV-10 Bronco from "Musée Européen de l'Aviation de Chasse" located in Montélimar, France. Hence our model has an OV-10B interior, and we propose both OV-10A and OV-10B variants for the exterior model depending on the livery.

It accomplished thousands of missions, flew above hundreds of countries and has been involved in numerous humanitarian missions. We just wanted to salute this Franco-German aviation emblem.
Developed in close collaboration with real pilots and true Transall experts, every detail of the aircraft has been carefully inspected to ensure the most accurate reproduction possible.
We have put a lot of effort to improve even more our quality standards compared to our previous products. The great complexity of the aircraft and its military-designed systems forced us to adapt our development processes accordingly. Hence, our Transall includes a big amount of bespoke systems and does not re-use existing generic avionics from the simulator.
This is a fully native MSFS 2024 version, featuring more functionality and a significant overall quality improvement.

Please download the manual on our website to see all implemented features.
Special thanks to the "Musée Européen de l'Aviation de Chasse" in Montélimar, France, that provided access to a retired French C-160R.

Based on the CM. 170 Magister featuring Marboré II engines, our aicraft has been built from the ground-up exclusively for MSFS 2020.
A very neat work allowed us to propose this detailed 3D model, one step above what you will commonly find in the game. A special attention was given to aircraft systems, and you will find custom behaviours for electrical, hydraulic, fuel and oxygen systems, amongst other things.
The CM. 170 Magister is a two-seat, twin-engine military jet trainer produced by French aviation company Fouga. The Magister took its first flight on July 23, 1952 and entered service in 1956. A total of 929 of the aircraft were built, and they served the militaries over a dozen countries, notably those of France, Germany, and Israel. While the Magister was employed primarily for pilot training, some were used in ground attack roles through the years, notably during the Six-Day War and in the Congo Crisis.
The CM. 170 features tandem seating, a main wing with tip tanks that has a span of 39 feet, 10 inches, and a V-tail empennage. Two Turbomeca Marboré IIA turbojets power the Magister, producing up to 880 pounds of thrust each. The jet has a maximum speed of 444 miles per hour, a range of 750 miles, and a ceiling of 36,000 feet above sea level.
With an endurance of up to 2 hours and 40 minutes, pilots have opportunity after opportunity to learn, hone, and perfect their aviation skills in the Fouga CM. 170 Magister. Sporty, fun, but also forgiving, this is a responsive craft offering versatility through a range of flight types, from leisurely sightseeing to aggressive aerobatics.
