FWX Helicopter All-in-One Bundle: all four FWX add-ons for helicopters in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, with flight dynamics, turbine sound, rotor shadow and rotor blade haptics
Four add-ons work on four parts of the same flight. The handling under you, the sound around you, the shadow on the ground, the rotor in your seat.
What is this bundle? The four parts do not replace any flight model and do not rewrite any flight model or aircraft files: the simulator's flight model stays fully in force and keeps computing as designed, and the simulator itself executes all of it. Flight dynamics and haptics work on every helicopter in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, the rotor shadow on the seven types where it disappears in the simulator. Only the sound part works exclusively on the EC135, the other three parts are not tied to one type.
The flight dynamics: how the machine handles, not how the camera moves
Flight dynamics is the heart of this bundle. Your helicopter stops holding itself in the hover. It comes alive under you and asks to be flown.
Pitch, roll and climb follow the actual attitude, and your control inputs take effect immediately. Hover and forward flight can be adjusted separately, every axis can be switched on its own, and the strength is infinitely variable from zero to full, at any second of the flight.
Handling, shadow and blade beats are not precomputed: they are built live from flight data, control inputs and the real rotor speed. The sound part's strength lies elsewhere: recordings of a real EC135 instead of the flat stock sounds.
The turbine sound: real recordings instead of the stock sounds
The sound part replaces the EC135 sounds completely, inside and out, with recordings of a real EC135: cold start, spool-up, idle, flight, shutdown. It is the only part of the bundle that works on the EC135 alone.
- Both engines work separately: uneven start, uneven shutdown, single-engine taxi
- The start sequence can be aborted at any point, like on the real aircraft
- The sound follows the work of the turbine, not the rotor speed: the governor, which holds the rotor speed constant by itself, keeps it steady while the turbine has to work harder as soon as more power is needed. That is exactly what you hear. When power is reduced, the turbine audibly eases and the rotor speed stays up
- Seamless from the starter into the running turbine, smooth torque transitions instead of abrupt tonal jumps
From outside the characteristic twin-turbine whine, plus rotor downwash, flyby and hover. And above all the Fenestron, the shrouded tail rotor of the EC135: its sound is the signature of this type, and that is exactly how you hear it from outside.
The rotor shadow: the shadow that disappears above a certain rotor speed
The rotor shadow part covers seven well-known types, all other helicopters have their shadow anyway. A rotor turns above the pilot, yet on these seven its shadow disappears completely in the simulator above a certain rotor speed: visible while starting, then suddenly gone once the rotor is up to speed. This bundle gives it back: it turns with the real rotor speed, tilts with the machine and shows main and tail rotor separately, so two shadows instead of one dark blob. Every type is individually calibrated.

The haptics: feel the rotor in your body, not just hear it
The haptics make the rotor felt in your own body. They send the rotor beats as deep pulses to an audio device that Windows recognizes as a playback device and that works in your seat or on your seat frame. So you feel the rotor instead of only hearing it, and every type feels different.
In detail: every single blade pass instead of one steady hum. The rhythm follows the real rotor speed, two to eight pulses per revolution depending on the type.
- On start-up, single blade beats slow enough to count
- At mid rotor speed the uneven clatter of drooping blades
- At full speed one continuous, calm bass beat
- Rotor brake with a run-down you can feel
- Every stock helicopter in the simulator is covered automatically, from the two-bladed R66 to the six-bladed S-64 Skycrane. There is nothing for you to set up
- Third-party helicopters can be adjusted individually, although the rotor blade detection works on them as well
Sliders for volume, bass and pulse strength, plus device selection if you have several outputs. Without such an audio device there is nothing to feel.
Four parts, one flight
The four add-ons are independent of each other and do not interfere with each other. Flight dynamics and rotor shadow each have a master switch, on and off at any time, in mid-flight. If you only want to hover, turn the flight dynamics down smoothly. And if you do not want the haptics, leave them off and you still have the full bundle.
Based on our market overview there is currently nothing for MSFS 2024 that makes helicopter flight behavior more immersive and adjustable in this form. From the makers of the FWX EC135 Sound Mod, reviewed by SimFlight, Threshold, MSFS Addons and MSFS Gateway.
What it cannot do
- The sound works on the EC135 only. On every other type the stock sounds stay unchanged
- The rotor shadow works on the seven types listed above only. UH-1 and Bell 407 do not need it, they have their rotor shadow out of the box
- Without an audio device that Windows recognizes as a playback device you will feel nothing from the haptics, and they send no audio to your speakers
- It does not replace any flight model and does not rewrite any flight model files
- It works on helicopters only, not on airplanes
Works with your other add-ons
- Compatible with ChasePlane and FSRealistic: those two work on camera and sound, this bundle works on the flight behavior underneath. The camera is never touched
- No changes to aircraft or flight model files
- Runs alongside your own liveries and other utilities
- The sound add-on has no impact on frame rate
- Requires Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
Operated from the toolbar inside the simulator, in mid-flight
VR compatible: all four parts work in VR exactly as they do on screen, and the panel is reachable with a headset on. Adjust in flight without taking the headset off.
A full control panel sits in the simulator's toolbar, right where you open every other panel. Flight dynamics, rotor shadow and haptics each have their own tab in the FWX Manager: one click and everything is in the cockpit in front of you, in mid-flight. A master switch on top, the settings below, no switching to the desktop.
- Every change takes effect at once, no restart
- Settings are kept per helicopter, and the tested default can be restored at any time
Installation, notes and updates
- Click-through installer: pick the folder, done
- Note on package order: for the sound to take effect, the package order may have to be set by hand, in the settings of the simulator, in the package library section. The installer walks you through it with a confirmation dialog. This applies to this bundle as well.
- Starts and stops with the simulator, stays silent in menus and loading screens
- You can uninstall in two ways: through our own FWX application or through the Windows program list. Uninstalling brings the stock sounds back
- Free updates, new sound content and new features included
- If another helicopter missing its rotor shadow appears in the simulator, it is added free with an update
Included in this bundle
- FWX EC135 Real Turbine Sound Mod
- FWX Helicopter Rotor Blade Haptic
- FWX Helicopter Rotor Shadow Mod
- FWX Helicopter Flight Dynamics
The individual products
- FWX EC135 REAL TURBINE SOUND MOD MSFS24: the turbine sound only, for the EC135 only

FWX Heli Flight Dynamics & Rotor Effects: the flight dynamics add-on for every helicopter in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, with rotor shadow and rotor blade haptics
The helicopter no longer holds itself in the hover. It comes alive under the pilot and wants to be flown.
What is this package? Three add-ons for helicopters in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, with the flight dynamics at their heart. It does not move the camera, it moves the machine: every reaction is generated in the same moment from the simulator's flight data and your control inputs. The simulator's flight model is not replaced, it stays in force. The flight dynamics work on every helicopter, the rotor shadow on seven types, and the rotor blade haptics work through an audio device in your seat.
The flight dynamics: the hover and the flight becomes work again
Over the spot you are aiming for, the machine no longer holds itself there. It wants to be held, and it shows you that every second. Pitch, roll and climb follow the actual attitude of the aircraft, and your control inputs have an immediate effect on its behavior.
Seamlessly on into translational flight
The transition from the hover into translational flight is seamless, with no jump and no switching. Every direction is treated the same way: forward, sideways, backward. The aerodynamic influences and the pilot's influences become clearly noticeable.
Everything happens in the same moment
Airspeed, attitude, control deflection: every reaction is generated continuously from the simulator's flight data and your inputs, at every moment of the flight. Nothing is pre-calculated, nothing is played back.
The simulator's flight model stays in force
We do not replace it. It keeps calculating exactly as intended, our technology reads those values and adds extra motion on top. Everything is executed by the simulator itself. The original data is left untouched.
Tuned to your machine and your taste
You decide how far it goes, and you decide it in flight. That applies to every helicopter in the simulator, including types from other developers.
- Strength infinitely variable from zero to full, at any second of the flight
- Each axis can be switched on individually
- Hover and forward flight can be adjusted separately
- Profiles you can save for each helicopter type
- Tested presets for the simulator's own types, your own values for helicopters from other developers
- The factory setting can be restored per helicopter at any time
Also in the package: the rotor shadow, the shadow add-on for seven types
This part brings the shadow of the turning rotor back to where the simulator drops it. On seven well-known types it is there at first and then disappears completely above a certain rotor speed. For exactly those seven the package brings it back, following the rotor speed: on the ground, on the fuselage and on the surroundings, tilting with the machine, main and tail rotor shown separately instead of one dark blob. Each of the seven types has been calibrated individually for it.

Also in the package: the rotor blade haptics, which make the rotor felt in your seat
The haptics make the rotor felt in your own body. They send the rotor beats as deep pulses to an audio device that works in the seat or on the seat frame and that Windows recognizes as a playback device. So you do not just hear the rotor, you feel it, and every type feels different.
In detail: instead of a uniform hum that feels like a washing machine, you feel every single blade passage. The beat follows the real rotor speed, with two to eight pulses per revolution depending on the type, from the two-bladed R66 to the six-bladed S-64 Skycrane.
All of the simulator's stock helicopters are included automatically, you do not have to set anything up for that. On helicopters from other developers the haptics detect the rotor blades on their own, and anyone who still wants to do it themselves can set them by hand there. Without such an audio device, though, there is nothing to feel. If you do not want to use the haptics, you leave them off and still have the full package.

VR compatible
In virtual reality everything works exactly the same, because we move the machine and not the picture. And because the panel sits inside the simulator, it stays reachable with the headset on: adjust in flight without taking the headset off.
Installation and uninstallation
Installation runs through a click-through installer, and the package then starts automatically with the simulator. You can uninstall in two ways: through our own FWX application or through the Windows program list.
Updates
Free updates, new features included. If another helicopter without a rotor shadow appears in the simulator, it is added free of charge with an update.
Also available as a bundle
These three add-ons are also available together with our sound pack, and the sound pack is available on its own:
- FWX HELICOPTER ALL-IN-ONE BUNDLE MSFS24: everything from this package plus the EC135 Real Turbine Sound Mod.
- FWX EC135 REAL TURBINE SOUND MOD MSFS24: the turbine sound of the EC135, works on that type only.

1. Aerial Imagery
- Version “Standard” (13. 4 GB): high resolution – best ratio between sharpness of textures and file size
- Version "Premium" (36. 6 GB): very high resolution – recommended for the majority of users
- Version “Premium Plus” (55. 4 GB): very high resolution and ultra-high resolution at densely populated areas (see below) – recommended for the absolute best experience
- Improvements over the default MSFS ground textures include:
- realistic manual color correction that brings Gran Canaria to life
- sharper image with more visible details (e. g. rock structure)
- no green tint, especially no green roads and no green sand
- no clouds visible on the ground
- higher resolution (depending on the version used)
- Ultra-high resolution areas of the "Premium Plus" version:
- the whole east coast including Las Palmas, Telde, Vecindario and both airports (Gran Canaria & El Berriel)

Our Aircraft
This is our first aircraft release, roughly two and a half years in the making, and we're proud of both the state it ships in and the airplane we chose to bring to Microsoft Flight Simulator. In our eyes it's unmatched in design and aesthetics - a graceful trijet that still turns heads on any ramp.
What really drew us in is the cockpit. The FA50 sits at a fascinating crossroads between classic and modern, blending traditional steam gauges with more contemporary avionics. We modelled the commonly seen EFIS upgrade - a digital Collins 85C EFIS paired with a Garmin MX20 MFD and a GNS-XLS Flight Management Computer - which gives the panel its distinctive mixed character.
Most current releases lean toward full modern Garmin glass cockpits. We wanted to do something different. To match the story of an aircraft that has been flying - and quietly upgraded - for decades, we've given the cockpit a used, lived-in look rather than a showroom finish. Given the average age of these airframes today, that feels like the honest way to represent them, and it adds real character to every flight.

Black Square’s Commander 114 brings you one of the most technically advanced aircraft simulations for Microsoft Flight Simulator, with an advanced reciprocating engine simulation, 75+ possible failures, 15 hot-swappable radio configurations, and the most advanced turbocharger and cabin temperature simulations in MSFS. Black Square’s tablet interface lets you configure all options, manage payload, control failures, and monitor engines, electrical schematics and environmental control systems, all from within the simulator. The failure system allows for persistent wear, MTBF and scheduled failures for nearly every component in the aircraft.
The 3D gauges are affected by physics, and can even become stuck without engine vibration, requiring a tap on the glass to free them. Radio navigation systems are available from several eras of the 114’s history. Fly without GPS via a Foster RNAV511, or with the convenience of a Garmin GTN 750/650 (PMS50 or TDS). Other radio equipment includes MX-170B radios, KLN-90B, GNS 530/430, System 60-2 Autopilot and a WX-11 Stormscope. A 150+ page manual provides instruction on all equipment, and 35 in-game checklists with control highlighting are included for normal and emergency procedures.
This product includes two aircraft: the 1977 Commander 114, and also a 114 with an aftermarket turbo-normalising package with aftermarket air conditioning. Six distinctive interiors and ten paint schemes are included from five decades of service.
A change of pace in high-performance single-engine flying: with unique avionics and all-new small aircraft features to discover such as airframe resonance, nose gear shimmy, hydraulic landing gear and MSFS’s first working stormscope.
Primarily analogue instrumentation augmented with modern avionics is still the most common aircraft panel configuration in the world. Challenge your piloting skills by flying IFR to minimums with a fully analogue panel and no GPS. You’ll be amazed at the level of skill and proficiency you can achieve to conquer such adversity and how it will translate to all your other flying.
For more information on the aircraft's capabilities and a list of all included avionics and equipment, see the Detailed Description below. Check out the extensive Operating Manual (also available as a printer-friendly version) as well as the Feature Highlights PDF!

Enhanced Terrain Mesh 10m for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
Overview
This package delivers a high‑resolution 10‑meter terrain mesh for the entire territory of Israel, offering a dramatic improvement over the default MSFS2024 elevation data. Mountains, valleys, cliffs, wadis, and coastal formations gain accurate shape and depth, providing a far more immersive and realistic VFR experience.
Key Features
-
10‑meter (1/3 arc‑second) resolution mesh, based on Sentinel‑1 SAR data
-
Custom waterbody adaptation: lakes, shorelines, reservoirs, and coastal flats reshaped to match the new DEM
-
Helipad surfaces aligned to the 10‑meter grid
-
No LOD optimization required for this type of mesh
-
Zero performance impact thanks to efficient data processing
-
Optimized for VFR flying — best appreciated below 500 ft AGL
Technology & Data Sources
-
DEM/DTM: Sentinel‑1 SAR processed in SNAP13 for maximum accuracy
-
Mesh Technology: proprietary, developed in‑house
-
Hydrography adaptation: manual integration with MSFS2024 default water data
Why This Mesh
-
Significantly enhances the morphology of Israel’s terrain
-
Ideal for VFR, helicopter operations, bush flying, and training
-
Covers a region rarely improved by third‑party developers
-
Created by ItalianCharter Team – Gjanosh61, with over a decade of experience and thousands of downloads across the flight simulation community
Compatibility
-
Compatible with: MSFS 2024 only
-
Not compatible with MSFS 2020 (different SDK, different terrain system)
-
Works with all airport addons, photogrammetry, weather engines, and texture packs
Recommended Usage
For maximum visual fidelity, fly below 500 ft AGL, especially in mountainous and coastal regions.
Important Note for Best Terrain Quality
This verision has been fully tested on MSFS 2024 SU6 v1. 8. 16. 0, and thanks to the latest improvements in my terrain‑mesh generation algorithm, the Old Terraforming Method is no longer required. ETM10m now works seamlessly with the new MSFS 2024 terrain renderer.
This update is part of my ongoing commitment to deliver the most accurate and realistic terrain mesh for Israel, crafted tile by tile with precision and passion.
For version 2. 3. 0, I manually corrected the DEM in QGIS, restoring the natural flatness of the Negev plateau and improving the terrain around key landmarks such as solar fields, roads and desert infrastructures.
ItalianCharter Team – ETM10m Series Real terrain. Real immersion. Real flying.

From the banks of the Swan River to the heart of the CBD, Perth Landmarks brings Western Australia’s capital to life with a highly detailed, carefully built scenery package designed for both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
This is Perth made for simmers who want more than a quick flyover. It is built for low and slow VFR flying, helicopter operations, city exploring, scenic routes, screenshots, and those flights where you simply want the world below you to feel more complete.
With a huge collection of hand-crafted points of interest, thousands of carefully placed models, enhanced waterfront areas, improved night lighting, detailed landmarks, vessels, animated features and custom locations to discover, Perth Landmarks adds the depth and atmosphere needed to make the city feel alive in your simulator.
A more complete Perth experience Perth Landmarks has been created to make the city more recognisable, more detailed and more enjoyable to explore from the air. Key areas across Perth have been enhanced with custom modelling and hand-placed detail, helping to better capture the real-world character of the city. From the CBD and Elizabeth Quay to Fremantle, Matagarup Bridge, Royal Perth Hospital, Langley Park and the surrounding marine areas, this package gives pilots more to see, more to use and more reasons to keep coming back.
Whether you are flying along the river, arriving into the city, exploring by helicopter, or setting up the perfect screenshot, Perth now feels like a proper destination. Built for day, night and everything in between Perth is stunning from the air, and this package has been designed to make that experience even better at any time of day. By day, the city is filled with more recognisable landmarks, hand-placed scenery and detailed waterfront areas. By night, enhanced lighting, animated features and illuminated landmarks bring a completely different atmosphere to the city.
Elizabeth Quay has received particular attention, with detailed scenery, animated lighting, billboards and selected MSFS 2024 walk mode support, giving you another way to experience one of Perth’s most iconic areas. More than just landmarks Perth Landmarks is built to add meaningful places to fly around, land at and explore. A highly detailed Royal Perth Hospital model is included, complete with a landable helipad, making it a great addition for helicopter pilots and emergency-service style operations. The Fremantle Docks area has also been enhanced with custom port detail, improved marine areas and vessels, and the AVWest Heliport Hangar has been included with time-controlled animation, opening at 8:00 AM and closing at 6:00 PM local simulator time.
You’ll also find a detailed Matagarup Bridge with animated lighting, improved waterfront scenery, and the included Langley Park Airstrip, giving you even more ways to enjoy Perth from the cockpit. Compatible with World Update Australia Perth Landmarks is compatible with the Microsoft Flight Simulator World Update Australia content. To get the intended experience, you will need to use the simulator’s Package Re-order Tool and ensure the Australian POIs package is placed above Perth Landmarks in the package order list. This allows the scenery to work correctly alongside the World Update Australia content while still giving you the enhanced Perth experience included with this package. A special tribute Included within the scenery is a memorial under the big Australian flag for our good friend Milo Taylor. It is a small but meaningful inclusion and something we are incredibly proud to have as part of Perth Landmarks.
Your next Australian city to explore Perth Landmarks gives Western Australia’s capital the presence it deserves in Microsoft Flight Simulator. It adds the landmarks you expect, the extra detail you notice, and the atmosphere that makes a city worth exploring again and again. From river runs and city circuits to helicopter work, night flights and scenic sightseeing, this package turns Perth into a proper destination in your simulator. Add Perth Landmarks to your collection and discover a more detailed, more immersive Perth from the skies.

The 3 Gorges Dam is the biggest dam in the world and the weight of water it holds is so large it has slightly tilted the earth’s axis. Many of the bridges are record breakers in size for both suspension bridges and cable stayed bridges.
The Yangsigang Yangtze River Bridge is the longest double deck road suspension bridge in the world with the main span 1. 7 km long. This is huge!
The Libu road rail bridge is another record breaker and has been modeled though it is still in construction. The double deck road and high speed rail suspension bridge is the longest in the world with a span of 1. 12 km.
The package covers the Yangtze river through Hubei Province which in 2022 had 5 Yangtze river bridges in construction simultaneously, each one with a main span around 1 km.
All the bridges are accurately modeled in the correct architectural style, with appropriate night lighting and traffic flows on the bridges.
Photogrammetry should be ON to ensure bridges integrate correctly with the sim.
The package is compatible with both MSFS2020 and MSFS2024, and demonstration photos have been taken in both 2020 and 2024.
All bridge models have POIs and are listed below from west to east.
