A few weeks ago, part of the FSimStudios team embarked on a research expedition across a number of airports. This expedition would result in the team getting stuck in Nuuk for several days due to inclement weather. As a result of this experience, and with the incredible cooperation from Air Greenland, we are happy to present to you what we have been quietly working on for the past weeks: A fully up-to-date, ultra-detailed rendition of Nuuk Airport, as of February 2025, based on extensive in-pers... As a result of this experience, and with the incredible cooperation from Air Greenland, we are happy to present to you what we have been quietly working on for the past weeks: A fully up-to-date, ultra-detailed rendition of Nuuk Airport, as of February 2025, based on extensive in-person survey.
Nuuk is among the most recently inaugurated international airports - a brand-new terminal and new 2200m runway was just inaugurated in Late November, 2024. Nuuk serves now as base of the A330NEO and Dash 8 Fleet of Air Greenland, and has scheduled connections with Canada, Iceland and Denmark. Direct flights from Newark, as well as more routes to Europe, are set to open as soon as Summer 2025.
- Fully Up-to-date as of February, 2025, including the new Nuuk International Terminal
- Ultra-detailed rendition of the airport, based on extensive in-person survey, 3D Scans and airport photography
- Detailed interior and exterior modeling of the new airport terminal. Accurate signage, lighting and layout as per the real airport
- Sharp texturing and high-poly modeling throughout other airport buildings, including Air Greenland’s headquarters and hangars, and the new control tower
- Hand-Made terrain around the airport to reflect latest changes
- Several POIs in the City of Nuuk and surrounding areas have been modeled – including Nuuk Center (highest tower in the city), HHE Hotel, Brugseni Shopping Mall, Nuuk Cultural Center, Nuuk Stadium, and the Nuuk Prison, located near the airport

Discover a new level of detail—this scenery is highly dynamic, changing based on the time of day, day of the week, and season. Many environmental elements, such as ice, lawnmowers, joggers, and cyclists, respond to factors like temperature, rain, and snow, ensuring no two days are the same. At the Groß Kreutz railway station, original station announcements can be heard, and a level crossing features animated barriers. Additionally, a fully animated signal system changes from red to green as trains pass. At the Luckenwalde hospital, an ambulance approaches the helipad (500 meters away) to pick up a patient.

Offline Ga Traffic
Offline GA Traffic uses five MSFS generic general aviation models with three custom paint schemes for each model, which blend in perfectly with the static GA models included with many payware airports. They also taxi, take off and land at any airport, airfield, or airstrip with a suitable parking space throughout the MSFS world. They fly VFR days only and IFR day and night, and all have strobe, navigation and landing lights. They fully interact with ATC at all stages of flight, and ATC will call... Offline GA Traffic is optimised for use with MSFS default offline traffic, FSLTL, AIG Traffic (in offline mode only), and Aerosoft Simple Traffic.
Please note that the smaller MSFS default airfields will have fewer parking spaces, if any, so always check your Offline GA Traffic installation and settings at a larger regional or even international airport.

- All flightplans optimised to create an equal percentage of parked aircraft at every available airport and airfield - if you set your traffic slider to 20%, you'll see 20% of the parking spaces occupied globally.

Installation:
Unzip the offline_ga_traffic folder and either cut and paste or drag and drop it into your Community folder.
MSFS settings:
In the Options > General Options section, select TRAFFIC from the menu on the left and under the AVIATION TRAFFIC section:
Set AIRCRAFT TRAFFIC TYPE to AI OFFLINE
Set AI TRAFFIC DENSITY from 10% to 50% for the optimum GA traffic on your system.
Under the AIRPORT LIFE section:
Set GROUND AIRCRAFT DENSITY to zero.
Under the AI AND MULTIPLAYER TRAFFIC DETAIL section:
Set both USE GENERIC PLANE MODELS options as required by your airline traffic program, Offline GA Traffic works with USE GENERIC PLANE MODELS either ON or OFF.
Set TRAFFIC VARIETY to ULTRA.
Offline Generic Traffic Fix:
This simple batch file fix will prevent ALL default AI traffic and liveries from appearing in the sim, including generic AI, stock AI and even third-party AI aircraft - do NOT use it with Aerosoft’s Simple Traffic! Offline GA Traffic will still appear in the sim as normal. See the included manual . pdf for full instructions.
Special Instructions:
If you don’t see any traffic at all with GROUND AIRCRAFT DENSITY set to zero, delete your ROLLINGCACHE. CCC file and re-launch your MSFS, which will create a new ROLLINGCACHE. CCC file for you. This file can be found in:

HOW TO INSTALL:
- Locate the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 installation folder
- You need to find and open the folder called "Community"
- Copy the folder "marinerm-74ft-sport-yacht" you just extracted to the Community folder.
- Start the game and the "Marine RM 74ft Sport Yacht" will be in its hangar ready to sail!
HOW TO PLAY:
Start the game anywhere in the world on the water or seaplane track, PRESS THE X KEY ON THE JOYSTICK TO REMOVE THE ANCHOR, put the engine at 100% and wait a few seconds for the boat to start moving. Water trails start with the slowest speed you are on. The boat have a reverse engine. Click Ctrl + L to activate a night navigation lights. Use the Flaps control to make the Rooftop visible.
Use the aileron controls to turn left and right. The rudder controls simulate axial movement control and do not activate the steering wheel animation, only the aileron control activates the steering wheel animation, as it is the main control method.
It is important to note that the X key on the Joystick is configured as the aircraft brake. Therefore, if you use other control hardware and need to find the button to change according to your hardware, look for the brake activation button.
The most recent update (1. 4) added the ability to walk around the boat. It is important to note that this ability had not been added before due to lack of documentation to enable this feature - every boat since its development has been designed for this. Note that you will start on the lower deck, in a hallway leading to the bedroom.
The latest update adds Autopilot to the GPS NAV function to make it easier to navigate long distance routes. In Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, consider activating the Autopilot using the "Y" button on the Joystick, or "Z" on the keyboard and it will automatically steer along the programmed route. In Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, when you turn on the Main Autopilot (you can set this function to "Y" on your joystick) it will lock onto the current horizon. To have your boat follow the route programmed in your GPS, consider setting the "Enable Autopilot NAV1 Maintenance" function in Settings > Control > Autopilot > NAV
Understand that a Yacht is a small vessel, with limited space and mobility. MSFS's walkaround mode has very limited contact detection, which makes moving around in enclosed spaces like boats difficult to do realistically. In the bedroom, the character will appear crouched down, although there is room to stand up. Unfortunately, some walls and boundaries of the boat had to be ignored in order for the character to be able to move around. Understand that this is not a product defect - by adding boundaries exactly on the walls and edges of the boat, the character becomes trapped and impossible to control.
- IMPORTANT: JUST AS YOU WOULD NOT DO IN REAL LIFE, DO NOT GO OUT IN THE SEA WITH WAVES HIGHER THAN 40 KNOTS (74KM/H) AT THE RISK OF CAPSIZING THE BOAT AS IT WOULD HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE.
- DURING THE SIMULATION, THE SINKING OF THE BOAT IS NOT DRAMATIC AND UNEXPECTED EFFECTS MAY OCCUR CAUSED BY THE SIMULATION ENVIRONMENT ITSELF AND NOT BY A PRODUCT DEFECT
Some users have reported that the function monitor with clickable buttons to activate or deactivate anchors, lights and other functions is not working. To solve this, I created an update where the boat functions are controlled by the joystick. This has been caused by a limiter added by Microsoft/Asobo in XML scripts that has also been reported by other developers. There is an ongoing update by Microsoft to fix the problem; please understand that this is not a product defect and we hope that soon the yacht will be working in all its functions.
It is important to say that Microsoft Flight Simulator is a game being released in its initial version. The boat was built, approved and published from the Dev Alpha provided by Microsoft, and unexpected situations may happen until the game reaches a stable version. Please understand that unexpected situations may not be a defect of the product, but of the Simulator. Write to my email about any unexpected situation, I will be working on the launch days to mitigate any problems that may happen.

From Lukla, it takes travelers approximately two days to reach Namche Bazaar, a crucial stop for altitude acclimatization before continuing their journey.
The airport in Lukla boasts a single asphalt runway measuring 527 meters (1,729 feet), making it one of the shortest commercial runways globally. In August 2014, the Nepalese government unveiled plans to construct the first tarmac road linking Kathmandu to Lukla, a significant development for the region.
Lukla is served by the Tenzing-Hillary Airport, where, weather permitting, twin-engine Dornier 228s and de Havilland Canada Twin Otters make frequent daylight flights between Lukla and Kathmandu. The airport's short and steep airstrip, combined with often treacherous weather conditions, has earned it the reputation of being the most dangerous airport in the world, with several fatal accidents recorded over the years.
This scenery addon is an improvement in and outside Lukla extending all the way to Thulo Gumela, Tok Tok and Yeti Mountain Home in Kongde. Bring out your Helicopter landing skills as there is a lot of places to challenge yourself along the way.

The Boleráz airport as we know it today began to be built
In May 1975, the activity of the aero club was finally moved to the newly built facilities at the airport Boleráz - Klčovany. The location of the airport is very convenient for all air sports. The airport was built as a military reserve strip for ČSĽA aircraft. Mig15s, which were in service with ČSLA at that time, actually landed and took off at this airport.
In the 1970s and 1980s, there was a rapid development of all aviation activities.
Currently, Aeroklub Trnava unites members in the engine department, which uses sports aircraft of the Zlín Z 226MS and Z526 AFS-V types. And in the glider department, which uses G103 Twin Astir gliders, L 23, VSO 10, Centair 201A PEGAS and L 13 SE Vivat motor glider.
Aeroklub Bratislava was founded in 1928 under the name Slovenský Aeroklub M. R. Štefánika and became part of the Aeroclub of the Czechoslovak Republic. Vajnory near Bratislava became his home. Promotional flights and performances at air days were performed by military pilots of the Vajnor crew, who at the same time performed the functions of flying instructors in the aero club.
Between 1934 and 1935, the aero club built two hangars on the hillside of Dúbravka near Bratislava and began intensively organizing gliding training.
In the period before the Second World War, interest in building aviation and flight training increased. With great effort, the instructors also trained pilots for the aviation school in Prostejov. The well-organized promotion generated great interest in flight training in Bratislava.
However, with the outbreak of the Second World War, the activity of the aero club practically stopped. During the Second World War, many members of the aeroclub joined the anti-fascist resistance as participants of the SNP, the paratrooper brigade as well as in the Battle of Great Britain. Only after the war did life return to the aero club. A group of glider pilots, with the approval of the superior authorities, moved the captured gliders from Austria and resumed gliding training on the hillsides of Dúbravka.
In 1946, a parachuting department with a Douglas DC3 aircraft was established in Bratislava.
In 1954 the aero club was assigned new modern motorized and non-motorized airplanes of domestic production, and paratroopers were equipped with new parachutes.
As time went on, the airport in Vajnory became inadequate due to th
e close proximity of the M. R. Stefánik Intl. airport and its growing air traffic.
The Aeroclub decided to move, and since 2007, Štefan Banič Airport near Trnava has become its new home.
Currently, the aero club operates both motorized and non-motorized aircrafts. Its members regularly participate in top sailing competitions at national and world level.
