Currently, the Leite Lopes Airport is the fourth largest in the state of São Paulo, being surpassed only by SP / Guarulhos, SP / Congonhas and Viracopos. With 6 airways and more than 100 aircraft a day, Leite Lopes airport is the most relevant in the interior. The Archipelago of the Azores is composed of nine volcanic islands situated in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean.
