Enjoy arriving at an airport and seeing real world airlines and aircraft types parked around the airport. Within this package you will enjoy hundreds of aircraft variations (types, airlines) thousands of them manually placed according to real life on around 41+ default airports. The airports selected are mostly ASOBO (default) airports, so that they don’t conflict with modified custom airports. The aircraft are placed so that they are compatible with AI traffic or aircraft ground traffic, nonetheless we recommend having the option “aircraft ground density” to zero. Nonetheless our package will work perfectly, but its best for the immersion that this setting is set to zero. The aircraft have been mostly placed on remote stands and on some stands near the terminal in order not to conflict with AI traffic and the overall user experience. Originally designed as part of a proposal to design a a completely new fighter from ground up the P51 saw a number of roles during the second world war and in fact well into the 50’s and the advent of the jet age.
The P-51 was not without its problems. In particular the earlier version suffered from a problem with vision especially to the rear and a lacklustre performance. This was remedied with a bubble canopy and the addition of the Merlin engine.
First seeing action with the RAF the American armed forces were to take up the majority of the use during latter stages of WW2. Merlin powered Mustangs were to start their first of many missions to escort long range bombers in mid-December 1943. The P51-D’s were to prove superior to the premier german fighters of the time the Me-109 and the Fw-190 . About 13 000 Merlin powered Mustangs were produced in the United states. They continued to serve past the WW2’s end and some were even used in a ground attack role during the Korean war. They last saw combat in the 1969 “Soccer War “. Now they can be found either in racing guise or as highly restored examples at airshows throughout the world.

Custom features that repeat the actual behavior of a real-life helicopter:
1) Helicopter systems
- electrical system that accounts for all loads of DC and AC consumers, current, resistance and voltage; load on the batteries, their discharge and charging; realistic behavior of generators when distributing load between them; realistic behavior of converters and their consumers;
- pneumatic system maintains a constant air pressure in the brake system using a compressor installed on the engine, has an air flow rate and is necessary for the operation of the helicopter brake system;
- fuel system accounts for fuel consumption at different engine modes; fuel quantity indicator accounts for the position of the helicopter in space (roll, pitch) repeating the position of fuel in the tank;
- hydraulic system accounts for pressure, temperature, the amount of hydraulic fluid depending on loads and the state of the atmosphere;
- oil system accounts for pressure, temperature, the amount of oil, depending on the operating modes of the engines and the state of the atmosphere;
- fire extinguishing system, including system monitoring and control.
2) Engines control
- implementation of motor control, including separate control;
- engine starting system accounts for the load on the electrical system at the time of starting, the state of the atmosphere and the state of the liquids required for the operation of the engines;
- kinematics of combined control unit of engines RPM and propeller pitch that allows to perform all checks, including engines run-up in accordance with the manual.
3) Helicopter control
- the interaction of the helicopter control knobs fully corresponds to the actual position of the blade angle in different flight modes;
- trimming system allows you to balance the helicopter in a stable position.
4) Navigation
- ADF allows you to navigate by beacons and indicates the magnetic course of the helicopter; this system also implements a simulation of the gyro-magnetic compass operation with a simulation of real slaving.
5) Radio
- radio unit allows radio communication with ATC at the selected frequency;
- intercom allows to select various listening modes, including ADF signals.
6) Instruments
- aviation clock with second meter repeats the actual behavior of the watch, including all operating modes of the watch;
- gyrohorizons have realistic behavior of gyromechanism, including its spin-up and shutdown;
- anaeroid tubes allows realistic behavior of instruments that use them, including the influence of incoming flow and atmospheric pressure;
- devices operating from electric current account for inertia and friction force of needle indicators;
- radio altimeter accounts for slaving and adjustment.
7) Lighting equipment
- depends on the state of the helicopter electrical system.
8) Heating and anti-icing systems
- allow to monitor the condition of the icing of the helicopter and control the heating of the blades and windows of the helicopter depending on the state of the environment.
9) Atmospheric precipitation (rain)
- realistically displayed on the surface of the windows of the helicopter along with the effect of icing on windows.
10) Firing signal rockets and smoke generator
11) Flight Model
- accounts for realistic location of the center of gravity, as well as its influence on the control of the helicopter.
12) Interacting with the cockpit and helicopter controls
- the mechanical and kinematic behavior of these controls was taken into account (right up to simulating the operation of the toggle switch spring).
13) Switching from asymmetric to straight airflow and vice versa
- causes natural vibration.
14) Natural deflection of the blades
- reaction to the wind in an idle state and the cone of rotating blades changes its size depending on the load on the main rotor.
Interactive cockpit features and options:
1. VHF allows you to adjust ATC frequencies in multiples of 0. 25.
2. Manipulators: combine two modes of interaction.
a) mouse wheel - instantaneous state switching;
b) left mouse button + movement - realistic state switching.
3. VR - fully adapted, including control of the longitudinal and transverse control knob by moving the controller.
4. The model includes the ability to automatically start and turn off the helicopter with the preparation of systems in the correct sequence through simulator commands.
5. To facilitate control, some controls are connected to simulator commands (see manual list).
6. When controlling the watch, it is necessary to familiarize yourself with the instructions, since due to the complexity of the implementation, combined control of the manipulators was used.
7. Due to the realistic implementation of the electrical system and the load on the batteries at the time of starting, the battery charge is enough for 5-6 unsuccessful starts. Due to the fact that it is not possible to replace the battery, the model must be restarted to reset the state of the batteries.
8. The altimeter has realistic control of the pressure setting handle, which has a reverse direction of rotation (rotation to the right reduces the barometric height, while rotation to the left increases it).
9. To remove the helicopter from the parking brake, press the latch on the helicopter control stick or use the simulator command.
10. The nose steering wheel is made in accordance with a realistic model, and is free castoring (not directly related to the position of the pedals).
11. Due to the realism of helicopter centering, restrictions on helicopter centering and loading should be complied with.
12. For correct display of the helicopter heading on the UGR-4UK device in 3. 5 min after starting the helicopter and starting all systems, it is necessary to slave the heading system by pressing the «СОГЛАСОВАНО» button.
13. For toggle switches with more than 3 positions, to move the toggle switch in the required direction, use manipulator located in the direction of toggle switch movement (wiper toggle switch, АКК/ГЕНЕРАТОР toggle switch).
14. Due to the custom implementation of all systems, we do not recommend using default simulator failures.

With the success of the Dash 8-100 series, a stretched version with greater capacity was a logical development. De Havilland Canada (now part of Bombardier) launched full scale development of a 50 seat stretched version of its Dash 8 regional airliner during 1986, approximately two years after the standard fuselage length aircraft had entered service. The first series 300 aircraft was in fact the prototype Dash 8 converted to the new length, and it flew for the first time in its new configuration on May 15 1987. Flight testing culminated in the awarding of Canadian certification in February 1989, with the first delivery to Time Air following late that same month. US certification was awarded in June 1989. The stretch comprises fuselage plugs forward and aft of the wing, increasing length by 3. 43m (11ft 3in). In addition, the wings are greater in span. The fuselage stretch increases typical seating capacity to 50 (at 81cm/32in pitch), or for up to 56 (at 74cm/29in pitch). Other changes compared with the Dash 8-100 were minor, but included a larger, repositioned galley, larger toilet, additional wardrobe, dual air conditioning packs, a new galley service door and optional APU. The Dash 8-300 has been offered in a number of variants. The standard 300 was followed in 1990 by the 300A which introduced optional higher gross weights, interior improvements (as on the Dash 8-100A), and standard PW123A engines (with PW123Bs optional). The 300B was introduced in 1992 and has 1865kW (2500shp) PW123Bs as standard, as is the optional high gross weight of the 300A. The 300E has 1775kW (2380shp) PW123Es rated to 40 degrees, thus improving hot and high performance. Like the Dash 8Q-200, all Dash 8-300s built since the second quarter of 1996 have been fitted with a computer controlled noise and vibration suppression system (or NVS) and so from then all models were designated Dash 8Q-300s. In 1998 the aircraft was again renamed, this time to Dash 8-Q300 when a new interior was also introduced. Virtualcol takes pride in presenting the third version of a package of three models of this series, the DASH 8-300. This model has analogue instruments with PFD and HSI digital and FMS (UNS) used in all subsequent versions.
WARNING: This model isn't a study-level model, but for the price, we are sure to offer a product that is as real as possible.

Santiago Mariño International Airport was built and inaugurated in 1970, although it became operational on October 11, 1974, thanks to the initiative of the Air Transport Directorate of the now-defunct Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC). There were ample reasons to expedite this measure, primarily the fact that the old airport terminal was located in the heart of the city of Porlamar, which posed a clear risk given the growing development of this maritime city. Since then, the airport has been under several administrations: In 1978, it was managed by the "Simón Bolívar International Airport Autonomous Institute" of Maiquetía; in 1992, the MTC transferred the airport to the Government of the State of Nueva Esparta, which, by law, transformed it into an autonomous institute. However, two years later, on February 2, 1994, the Regional Executive, through an international public tender, awarded the Airport Concession to the Combell Viseca & Asociados Consortium (C. V. A, C. A. ). This measure was reversed in 2001 by the then-Governor, Alexis Navarro, who rescinded the concession through Resolution No. 011, establishing a new temporary organizational structure.
In February 2004, Navarro awarded a 20-year concession, under a Strategic Alliance, to the Unique IDC Consortium for "the conservation, administration, maintenance, operation, and development of the infrastructure of the 'General-in-Chief Santiago Mariño' Caribbean International Airport and the 'Tcnel. Andrés Salazar Marcano' National Airport on Coche Island. " This consortium was comprised of the companies Gestión e Ingeniería IDC S. A. and Flughafen Zurich S. A. However, in 2006, the state of Nueva Esparta once again assumed direct responsibility for providing airport services, following a request for intervention from the state's highest executive authority. This led to constitutional challenges from both sides, and the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice resolved the dispute by ordering the intervention of the airport service to be administered by a five-member board: three from the Ministry of Infrastructure (Minfra), one from the Governor's office, and one from the Consortium. Two observers were appointed, one technical and one fiscal, with veto power. However, this Intervention Board remained in effect until March 4, 2009, when the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice terminated the judicial intervention process of the airports in Nueva Esparta State and ordered their "Transfer, Management, and Control" to the National Executive Branch under the responsibility of the Ministry of Popular Power for Public Works and Housing (MOPVI), formerly the Ministry of Infrastructure (MINFRA). The Ministry, through Resolution No. 39 of March 17, 2009, appointed a Liaison Commission to fulfill this responsibility. The decision was published in Official Gazette of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela No. 39,143 on March 20, 2009, and was reprinted due to a clerical error in Official Gazette No. 39,170 on May 4 of that year. This Liaison Commission is comprised of Colonel Douglas Andrés Vásquez Orellana (General Coordinator) and Colonel Luis Gustavo Graterol Caraballo (Commission Member), who, along with a group of professionals delegated to each area of expertise, have been implementing significant transformations at the island airports since their appointment. These transformations encompass infrastructure, operations, security, labor rights for human resources, and the development of information technologies. In this way, the General-in-Chief Santiago Mariño International Airport is moving towards consolidation and positioning itself as one of the most modern and cutting-edge airports in the Caribbean and Latin America.
