Often regarded as 'the poor relation' to the Supermarine Spitfire, the Hawker Hurricane was in fact, a very capable fighting machine and again in fact, was responsible for 60% of Luftwaffe losses during the Battle of Britain. As a fighter, the Hurricane was no match for the manoeuvrability of the Messerschmitt BF109 but if a skilled pilot could bring those eight guns to bear, more often than not, the opposition was doomed amid a hail of concentrated fire. Those thick profile wings provided an extremely stable gun platform from which to shoot too. As the Battle developed, Hurricanes were assigned the primary role of destroying the waves of enemy bombers heading for British shores - Spitfires taking over the role of fighter interception and hence the more glamorous image.
During the Battle, the Hawker Hurricane made 'aces' of many of the young pilots flying daily to defend the shores of Great Britain. It fought in all the theatres of WW2, inflicting a massive amount of damage not only to enemy forces in the air but on the ground and at sea.
Much of this success was owed to its incredibly durable construction, enabling the aircraft to sustain huge amounts of punishment and still keep going. Cannon rounds would pass harmlessly, straight through the fabric of the rear fuselage structure without exploding and substantial armour plating behind the seat would provide protection for the pilot from rear attack.
There is little doubt, that without this iconic aircraft's rugged durability and the dogged determination of the RAF's Hurricane pilots,
Britain's 'Finest Hour' might have lasted a lot longer than it did.
In this tribute package you will find not only the Battle of Britain Mk1 but also the Tropicalised version with Vokes filter under the nose and a Sea Hurricane equipped with fully functional tail-hook for carrier landings.

Niagara Falls spans the border between the province of Ontario, Canada and New York State in the USA.
Formed by the Niagara River, which drains Lake Erie into Lake Ontario, the combined falls have the highest flow rate of any waterfall in North America that has a vertical drop of more than 50 m (160 ft)
The scenery area starts at the North Grand Island Bridge and ends further down the Niagara River at the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge.
POI markers have been added throughout the area.
Features:
- Niagara Falls - Animated with sounds, mist, and lighting effects. Includes Horseshoe Falls, American Falls & Bridal Veil Falls
- Custom 3D modelled Hotels & Casino's of the Niagara Falls City Skyline.
- Custom animated rapids, and rapid textures along the Niagara River.
- Custom 3D modelled docks on both the USA and Canadian sides. I have included crowds of tourists queuing at the docks to represent how busy the area is. These have been modelled at a very low poly count which ensures that your FPS is not impacted - Please note they are not supposed to be seen at very close range. The people have been rendered in the correct poncho colours - Blue for USA (Maid Of the Mist), Red for Hornblower (Niagara City Cruises), and Yellow for Behind The Falls Tour.
- Niagara Helicopters Heliport (CPQ3) has been included with a hand crafted Terminal and interior, along with Hangar, hangar interior, and animated doors.
- 13 Helipads to choose from at the Heliport
- Custom made Wind Socks
- Custom made anemometer (weather station)
- Custom made helipad lights and obstacle lighting systems
- Animated freight train with sounds. The train crosses the Whirpool Rapids Bridge and passes by the Heliport
- Niagara Speedway Go Kart track & animated karts with sounds.
Points of interest include:
- Animated tourist boats - Maid Of the Mist, and Hornblower.
- Animated Incline Railway, and City Cruises Funicular Railway
- Animated Zipline
- Animated Sky Screamer ride with sounds located at Marineworld, just south of the falls.
- Animated Whirpool Aerocar which crosses the Niagara Whirlpool and which first opened in 1916.
- Ontario Power Generation Station, and Niagara Power Vista Station.
- Lewiston-Queenston Bridge
- Whirpool Rapids Bridge
- Michigan Central Bridge
- Niagara River Parkway Bridge
- North Grand Island Bridge
- International Control Dam
- 1918 Dumping Scow Barge shipwreck
- Niagara SkyWheel
Some notes on known issues/bugs:
This has been a very challenging scenery to recreate as Niagara Falls sits right in-between two world updates (USA & Canada). This along with the fact that it is where two separate photogrammetry areas meet. Consequently this means that in some areas I have been unable to adjust the terrain with any of the current available SDK tools.
- Horseshoe Falls has a terrain LOD bug at the base which clears as you get closer.
- Terrain humps located adjacent to the Skylon Tower (Part of the Canada World Update) and on either side of the Rainbow International Bridge (USA Update II)
- Animated train sinks slightly into the terrain at the curved section of the track.
IMPORTANT!
Both the USA updates I and II, along with the Canada World Update are mandatory for this scenery to display correctly.
I have designed the scene in a way that it integrates with Photogrammetry, therefore photogrammetry must be 'ON' for the scenery to display correctly.

Crj First Sim First Officer
Flight Simulator First Officer (FSFO) is a virtual copilot coded to work exclusively with the Aerosoft CRJ. It adds a whole new level of realism by providing a copilot to share cockpit responsibilities. FSFO separates itself from other virtual copilot programs in numerous ways. First, it’s highly flexible, adaptable, and comprehensive; you can fly-by-the-numbers, or use FSFO to fly sophisticated aircraft with little knowledge. FSFO also does NOT require you to remember exact phrases, actions, or precise speech to trigger other actions; thus, it’s learning curve is incredibly short. It also doesn’t employ robotic voices; however, you have an option to use SAPI. It’s biggest advantage over the competition is its unquestionable value! Where other First Officer programs charge you for additional Checklist/SOPs, Pushback, and RAAS, FSFO gives you the ability to create your own flows/checklist, has a Log Book, Runway Awareness and Alert System (RAAS), and Push Back feature, and much more. Just hit connect and fly with confidence that your First Officer is helping you fly this amazing aircraft.
Features:
- Speech Recognition
- Command the First Officer to set the flaps, gear, autopilot, takeoff thrust, and execute the flows and checklists.
- 100+ voice commands available to control multiple systems
- Checklist can be controlled via voice or completely automated.
- GSX Integration:
- Have your copilot manipulate the GSX menu to start boarding, request catering, pushback, and even confirm engine start.
- Ground Crew Operations:
- Control the pushback via voice, buttons, or programmed route
- Automatically trigger the fuel truck, luggage cars and jetway, or request via operations panel
- Flight Deck Announcements
- Play messages from the Copilot and Flight Crew (messages depend on time of day)
- Messages are 100% automated and occur at the correct flight phase
- Integrated Flows and Checklists
- Flows - When activated, the copilot will check each system to ensure it's set correctly for each flight phase; if it's not set correctly, he will configure said system. Using this methodology, FSFO will configure 95% of aircraft for you, which spares you the need to read 300+ page manuals.
- Checklist - When called, the copilot will call the checklist item
- If the system is set correctly, he will proceed to the next item; if it's not, he will wait for you to configure said system before proceeding to the next call.
- Use voice to reply to the checklist call; once you reply, the Copilot will call the next item
- Edit your Flows and Checklist to mimic your favorite airline operations
- Programs FMC (requires Simbrief integration)
- Copilot completes 95% of your FMC programming; you just have to set dep/arr runways and SID/STAR.
- Copilot Call-outs:
- Hundreds of call-outs available; hear the copilot announce the engine, autopilot, flaps, and gear (e. g. “gear up”, “engine 1 cutout”, and “AutoPilot 1 On”). He will even read-back your altimeter settings, current fuel, and autopilot values (e. g. “Fuel 12,000 pounds”), as well as confirm you’re on the correct runway.
- Highly Configurable Options:
- Automatic Options – Copilot will automatically raise/lower the gear, extend/retract the flaps (at the precise speeds), set the auto pilot, turn seatbelt signs on/off based on the parameters you set. In fact, you can even configure when the First Officer should start boarding, call for catering or Push-Back.
- Powerful Speech Recognition – If you prefer to manage the systems yourself, FSFO has a robust speech recognition method to raise/lower the gear, extend/retract the flaps, set the auto pilot, etc…
- You can configure FSFO to use Push-To-Talk (PTT) or Open Mic.
- Log Book:
- Keep track of your flights via FSFO’s Logbook; it tracks your aircraft type, average landing speeds, and much more…
- Runway Awareness and Alert System (RAAS):
- As a bonus, FSFO comes with RAAS, which is a system that alerts you when you’re approaching (land and ground) a runway, or entered a runway; it will also inform you when your takeoffs/landings are long (e. g. long landing, 3000 feet remaining, 50 feet remaining), or your approach is unstable
- Change Copilot/Pilot accents:
- Choose between English, British, Japanese, French, German, Australian, Espanol and even SAPI.
- FSFO also ships with the ability to record your own sounds
- Download VATSIM or Real-World Radio Frequencies
- Tune your radios by clicking a button, or speaking “contact tower“, “get the weather“, “contact departure, “ etc…
- FSFO will notify you when crossing into a boundary controlled by a different center
- Download Real-World ATIS information
- Displays data on the OFP page
- And much more…
