Hawker Hurricane Mk1

Often regarded as 'the poor relation' to the Supermarine Spitfire, the Hawker Hurricane was in fact, a very capable fighting machine and again in fact, was responsible for 60% of Luftwaffe losses during the Battle of Britain. As a fighter, the Hurricane was no match for the manoeuvrability of the Messerschmitt BF109 but if a skilled pilot could bring those eight guns to bear, more often than not, the opposition was doomed amid a hail of concentrated fire. Those thick profile wings provided an extremely stable gun platform from which to shoot too. As the Battle developed, Hurricanes were assigned the primary role of destroying the waves of enemy bombers heading for British shores - Spitfires taking over the role of fighter interception and hence the more glamorous image.
During the Battle, the Hawker Hurricane made 'aces' of many of the young pilots flying daily to defend the shores of Great Britain. It fought in all the theatres of WW2, inflicting a massive amount of damage not only to enemy forces in the air but on the ground and at sea.
Much of this success was owed to its incredibly durable construction, enabling the aircraft to sustain huge amounts of punishment and still keep going. Cannon rounds would pass harmlessly, straight through the fabric of the rear fuselage structure without exploding and substantial armour plating behind the seat would provide protection for the pilot from rear attack.
There is little doubt, that without this iconic aircraft's rugged durability and the dogged determination of the RAF's Hurricane pilots,
Britain's 'Finest Hour' might have lasted a lot longer than it did.
In this tribute package you will find not only the Battle of Britain Mk1 but also the Tropicalised version with Vokes filter under the nose and a Sea Hurricane equipped with fully functional tail-hook for carrier landings.

P-47D Thunderbolt 'Razorback'

The P-47D ( or the Jug as it was affectionately known ) was one of the heaviest fighters of World War 2 with a fully laden P-47 topping the scales at a portly 8 tonnes. This weight required a very powerful engine. The same engine that powered the F6F Hellcat and the Vought Corsair, the Pratt and Whitney R2800. Coupled with an impressive load out capability and very capable 50 Calibre machine guns the Thunderbolt resulted in a very capable medium range escort fighter and excellent ground attack fighter.
But there was an issue. Visibility. The Razorback whilst strong ( some returned safely with very large amounts of the plane damaged. ) had an issue with rear visibility. The fix was found by a visit to the RAF. The RAF also had this issue on some of their aircraft and had in fact lent their design for canopies to another famous USAAF aircraft the P51 ( also available ). In this case the answer lay in the Hawker Typhoon with an all encompassing all round vision “bubble top”. And the razorback was retired from production in favour of the Bubbletop
P-47s were operated by several Allied Air Forces during World War II. The RAF for example received 240 razorback P-47Ds, which they designated Thunderbolt Mark I. Since there wasnt a need for a high-altitude fighter in the RAF ( the superb supermarine spitfire filling that role admirably ) the RAF used their Thunderbolts as ground attack. Rather like the Fairchild Republic A-10 thunderbolt in use today. And yes the A-10 takes its name from its WW2 grandfather - The P47-D "Thunderbolt".

It replaced Durban International Airport (ICAO: FADN) and uses the same IATA airport code.
The airport forms part of the Dube TradePort, which will additionally consist of a trade zone linked to the airport's cargo terminal, facilities to support the airport such as nearby offices and transit accommodation for tourists, an integrated agricultural export zone, and an IT platform
The largest aircraft KSIA currently has scheduled services for is the Boeing 777-300ER, with Emirates operating Dubai–Durban, despite the fact that KSIA's runway length and terminal were designed to theoretically handle regular large airliners. In September 2015, during the World Routes Conference which was held in Durban (the first time on African soil), Turkish Airlines announced a new international service to Istanbul and Qatar Airways announced the commencement of service to Doha in December of that year.

FSUIPC7 is a utility program for MSFS which provides an interface for other programs to read and write all sorts of pertinent data relating to the simulation, and in many ways even to control the actual process itself.
It is an essential ingredient in many add-on FS programs, and, in fact, may be installed on your system by any one or more of them already. For most such programs you do not need to actually purchase FSUIPC7.
But, in addition, FSUIPC7 contains a number of useful features for you, the Flight Simulator user, features that can assist you setting up the best simulation environment and making the best of what you have. It can do this because, by its very nature as an interface program, as a “puller of wires and pusher of switches” on behalf of external applications, it is also in the best position to help you do the same.
To use these additional features you need to register your copy of FSUIPC7 here and obtain an Access Key, which will unlock them.
Facilities provided to the Registered User of FSUIPC include:
Joystick control facilities:
- Facilities for joystick calibration – specifically, more accurate setting of dead zones and centres.
- Joystick mapping for multi-engined aircraft throttles
- Facilities for reverse thrust adjustment on each throttle, or via a separate reverser,
- Joystick button programming, for any Flight Sim control, including those not available in FS’s own assignment menu.
- Joystick buttons can also be made to produce key-presses, for instance when this is the only way to control an add-on aircraft panel or other accessory.
- Joystick button assignments for use by WideFS clients on Networked PCs.
- All button assignments programmable separately for press and release
- Facilities for analogue flap and spoiler setting, with detentes.
- Facilities for analogue elevator, aileron and rudder trim settings.
- PFC COM-port connected devices, operating through our PFCcom64. DLL driver, can also have their switches and buttons programmed using the same facilities.
- Capabilities for all of these things to be specific to an aircraft, automatically changing when you change aircraft.
- support for most Go Flight devices, operating through our GFDev64. dll driver, which allows assignement using the FSUIPC assignment panels
Direct axis assignments
- Facilities for asignment of any Windows API (not DirectInput) joystick axis to any FS axis control, or sequences of other controls dependent upon axis range and direction of change.
- Axes can be read as Windows Game controler calibrated values, or direct as ‘Raw’ values for setting specific values.
- Capabilities for these things to be specific to an aircraft, automatically changing when you change aircraft.
Key press programming facilities:
- Key-press programming, for any Flight Sim control, including those not available in FS’s own assignments dialogues.
- FS controls can be sent with fixed parameter, for use in setting specific analogue values.
- Key-press combinations including SHIFT, TAB and CTRLas extra shifts, for many more assignment possibilities.
- Key-press assignments for use by WideFS7 clients on Networked PCs
- All key-press operations programmable separately for press and release, and for specific aircraft or general.
Other features:
- Lua programming interface/interpreter for advanced control
- Advanced logging facilities
- Access to local panel variables (lvars) and HTML variables (hvars)
- Access to all MobiFlight presets (for assignment)
- Access to Input Events (for assignment)
A license for FSUIPC7 includes full support and all updates, i. e. there is no time limit/subscription needed - but once and use indefinetly.
Please note that FSUIPC for MSFS lacks some of the features of previous versions as the MSFS SDK does not provide the facilities to implement these features. This includes:
- access to weather information (for read and write). Only basic weather information (for read purposes) is available
- mouse macros: it is not possible to implement such a feature in MSFS. However, alternative features are provided (e. g. access to hvars/html variables), presets/calculator code, Inmput Events
It is recommended to download and read the documentation and try the registered version (using the trial license) before purchase.
You can try the registered facilities using a trial license, availablefrom the FSUIPC website:
FSUIPC7 | FSUIPC
Also please be aware that the licensed purchased from SimMarket is a peronal license, valid for one person on multiple PCs. For commercial use and other licenses, please contact the developer at fsuipc@fsuipc. com.

With the Add-On Airport - Land’s End, FlightSim Studio AG once again delivers a wonderful and faithful replica of the real-world airport, according to their motto, Flight Simulation - but realistic.
The airfield itself has several runways with asphalt or grass and a small but very nice and modern terminal. With the six parking spaces on the main apron, you have enough space for your own small fleet of Twin Otters.
Fun fact by the way . . . there has been a flight connection from Land’s End to St Mary’s since 1937, but the airfield of St Mary's was opened two years later in 1939. In the meantime, the planes landed on the golf course.
Installation runs via Aerosoft One, this requires an internet connection and an Aerosoft user account!
Features:
- Realistic replication of the last state of construction of EGHC Land's End Airfield
- Fully custom modelling and texturing using 4K PBR throughout the entire airfield
- Realistic interior of the main terminal building
- Many clutter objects and small details to bring the airport to life
- Custom ground layout including accurate markings
- Custom static aircrafts reflecting the real traffic at the airfield
