EGFI Fishburn Airfield
Fishburn airfield sits atop a hill in the picturesque landscape of County Durham in North East England. Fishburn is the busiest general aviation airfield in the region with a huge number of aircraft hangered at the airfield. The airfield is relatively new by UK aviation standards and was was opened on 30 June 1995 by the then local MP, Leader of the Opposition party and soon to be Prime Minister, Tony Blair. A plaque set into a propeller can be seen at the airfield to commemorate this.

Fishburn was named as “Airfield of the year” by aviation magazine Flyer in 2004 and still maintains a welcoming atmosphere for both pilots and spectators, with the famous Aviator Bistro commanding great views for anyone who wants to watch the comings and goings of this busy airfield. Visitors are also treated to numerous 1950s aircraft in the carpark and there are even open days so that visitors can sit in the cockpits of these old machines.
Fishburn has been faithfully recreated by Burning Blue Design, undertaking on-site visits to ensure the highest levels of accuracy. It features:

Geirangerfjord, Norway On Sale
The Geiranger Fjord (Norwegian: Geirangerfjorden) is a fjord located in the Sunnmøre region of Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It lies entirely within the Stranda Municipality and extends 15 kilometers (9. 5 miles) as a branch off the Sunnylvsfjorden, which itself is a branch of the Storfjorden (Great Fjord). At the fjord's end, where the Geirangelva river flows into it, is the small village of Geiranger.

The precipitous heights rise almost vertically from the water, with rugged strata and foaming waterfalls cascading from jagged peaks. Despite the challenging terrain, a few mountain farms exist here. Some of these farms are accessible only by hazardous paths winding around steep precipices and bridges anchored to the mountain with iron bolts and rings, showcasing the remarkable ingenuity developed in response to nature's challenges.
The two most notable waterfalls in the Geiranger Fjord are the Seven Sisters Falls and the Suitor (Nynorsk: Friaren). These falls face each other across the fjord, with the Suitor said to be wooing the sisters opposite. Another waterfall, the Bridal Veil, is named for its delicate descent over a rocky edge, appearing like a thin veil when backlit by the sun.

Bohmte (EDXD)
Bohmte airport ( ICAO code : EDXD ) is a special airfield in Lower Saxony near Bohmte and Bad Essen .
The airport has one single runway (soft grass). Runway 10/28 is 1903 ft x 98 ft (580x 30 meters).
Gliders mainly take off and land here. The airfield is also used by hobby pilots with small motor aircraft. Traditionally, an airfield festival is held on the grounds every year on May 1st. The airport has one single runway (soft grass). Runway 10/28 is 1903 ft x 98 ft (580x 30 meters).
Gliders mainly take off and land here. The airfield is also used by hobby pilots with small motor aircraft. Traditionally, an airfield festival is held on the grounds every year on May 1st. Bang Phra Airport is the most challenging and exciting airport to land in all of Thailand, because we are right next to a mountain. Pilots who learn to land here can land anywhere. We are also the representative to IAOPA in Thailand and Southeast Asia.

We are also the representative to IAOPA in Thailand and Southeast Asia.
Obstacles: The Bang Phra airfield has a mountain on one end of the runway and high-tension wires on the other. The airfield is very safe once you have been checked out by one of our instructors. Bang Phra is in a beautiful location - surrounded by white beaches along the coast of the Gulf of Thailand, several international standard golf courses, a fresh water reservoir with a bird sanctuary, and several National Parks for viewing wildlife in Thailand. There are several hotels near the flying club.
