On January 6, 1926, Deutsche Luft Hansa A. G. was founded as a result of the merger of Junkers Luftverkehr AG and Deutsche Aero Lloyd. Tempelhof became its headquarters.
The terminal was expanded to include new facilities: a restaurant run by Mitropa, a terrace for visitors, and a hotel (Flughafenhotel).
By the time the work was completed in 1928, it was clear that the new facilities were not sufficient to cope with the rapid growth in traffic.
As early as 1930, a new project for the expansion of Tempelhof Airport was adopted, but this is another story.
THIS SCENE CREATES AN MSFS WORLD IN 1935.
IT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ANY OTHER SCENE IN THE SAME LOCATION IN 2020 AND WILL MODIFY THESE OTHER SCENES TO ALLOW IMMERSION INTO THE 1930'S. YOU WILL HAVE TO MANAGE THEM BY INSTALLING/UNINSTALLING THEM IF YOU WANT TO GO BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN 1935 AND TODAY.
WILL BRANDT AND TEGEL AIRPORTS ARE ERASED

DESCRIPTION
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Lancair Legacy is a two-seat, high-performance, single-engine, low-wing experimental aircraft built with a carbon-fiber composite structure and retractable tricycle landing gear. Designed by Lancair International and introduced in 1999, the Legacy became well known for its speed, efficiency, and sleek appearance. Independent evaluation by the CAFÉ Foundation reported that no aircraft they had tested had scored such high marks in all areas.
Standard Legacy aircraft are commonly powered by the Continental IO-550N engine with a three-blade constant-speed propeller, while some builders use turbocharged TSIO-550 configurations for increased high-altitude performance. Because the Legacy is an experimental aircraft, individual examples can vary significantly depending on builder choices, avionics, interior layout, engine configuration, and performance upgrades.
SIMULATION INFORMATION
The Lancair Legacy for MSFS 2024 has been developed to bring this fast, highly customized aircraft into the simulator with multiple configurations, realistic handling, and a deeper ownership experience. The package includes the standard Lancair Legacy glass cockpit, an analog panel version, and the award-winning StarHawk Legacy, each offered in both turbocharged and naturally aspirated configurations.
This project was created in collaboration with 3DR, who produced an amazing exterior and interior model with photorealistic textures. We also worked directly with the owner of STARHAWK, a Lancair Legacy celebrated for its extensive refinements, earning EAA Grand Champion honors as well as the prestigious Stan Dzik Memorial Award for Outstanding Design Contribution. STARHAWK’s builder provided extensive design information, 3D scans, photos, videos, sound recordings, performance analyses, and direct participation in flight dynamics and handling development. This close involvement, along with additional scanning by Flysimware, allowed us to capture the aircraft with exceptional accuracy, from exterior details to cockpit switches, knobs, controls, and system behavior.
The sound package was developed with SimAcoustics, using recordings from a real Lancair Legacy to create a highly accurate engine sound experience. From startup to cruise power, the goal was to capture the unique character of the aircraft and bring the user closer to the real machine.
A major part of this product is our new TrueSim technology, designed to give us deeper control over how the aircraft behaves beyond the default simulator systems. TrueSim allows us to model engine behavior, turbocharged mixture logic, fuel system behavior, failures, maintenance, and wear-and-tear in a more realistic way, so the aircraft does not always behave as if every component is perfectly healthy. For users who prefer a simpler experience, these realism features can be adjusted or disabled.
The turbocharged variants include custom mixture and supercharger-style logic designed to create more realistic high-altitude operation. This helps the aircraft respond more naturally as altitude, RPM, and power settings change, including the need to properly manage and lean the mixture during high-altitude flight.
The aircraft tablet is integrated into the default MSFS 2024 EFB environment and includes several pages for aircraft setup, failures, maintenance, and system management. Users can manage the aircraft’s condition, service wear items, wash dirt and debris from the exterior, service tire-related conditions, and handle failure options directly through the tablet. The included fuel page also allows fueling from any airport location, giving users more flexibility than the default simulator fueling system.
Ground service behavior has also been expanded beyond simple default simulator functions. Fuel truck and GPU-related ground support are handled with custom logic, helping the aircraft feel more alive while parked, serviced, or prepared for flight.
The Legacy also uses modern MSFS 2024 systems, including modern fuel, hydraulic, and electrical systems built to closely match the real aircraft. The electrical system includes real-world circuits, fuses, and circuit breakers depending on the selected variant, with glass panel versions using fuses and analog panel versions using circuit breakers. Glass panel variants also include fuse drawer behavior, with failed fuses able to illuminate for easier troubleshooting. These systems are designed around the real aircraft layout rather than simplified default behavior.
The real Lancair Legacy uses free-castering nosewheel steering, which requires differential braking and proper rudder pedal hardware for realistic ground handling. To make the aircraft enjoyable for more users, we are also including steering-enabled variants for pilots who do not have toe brakes or prefer a simpler ground handling setup. This allows users to choose the level of realism that best matches their hardware and flying style.
To improve compatibility with a wide range of flight simulation hardware, the aircraft also includes Flysimware’s integrated hardware binding interface using the default in games panel. This system allows users to assign custom aircraft controls and modern MSFS 2024 systems directly to their hardware without requiring third-party LVAR binding utilities. It also restores access to custom functions that are not available through the simulator’s default control assignments, providing a more complete hardware integration experience.

Welcome to Heraklion International Airport "Nikos Kazantzakis" (LGIR)
Perched on the northern coast of Crete, located just near ancient city of Heraklion, Nikos Kazantzakis International Airport has long served as the sun-drenched gateway to the Mediterranean's largest Greek island. Named in honour of Crete's most celebrated literary, the airport traces its origins to the early post-war era, growing from a modest military airfield into the one of Greece's busiest international airports - handling millions of sun seekers, historians and island hoppers each season. Its compact but characterful terminal reflects the pragmatism of a workhorse airport that punches well above its weight, flanked by the glittering Aegean to the north and the rugged Cretan highlands to the south. From the banks of the Swan River to the heart of the CBD, Perth Landmarks brings Western Australia’s capital to life with a highly detailed, carefully built scenery package designed for both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
This is Perth made for simmers who want more than a quick flyover. It is built for low and slow VFR flying, helicopter operations, city exploring, scenic routes, screenshots, and those flights where you simply want the world below you to feel more complete.
With a huge collection of hand-crafted points of interest, thousands of carefully placed models, enhanced waterfront areas, improved night lighting, detailed landmarks, vessels, animated features and custom locations to discover, Perth Landmarks adds the depth and atmosphere needed to make the city feel alive in your simulator.
A more complete Perth experience Perth Landmarks has been created to make the city more recognisable, more detailed and more enjoyable to explore from the air. Key areas across Perth have been enhanced with custom modelling and hand-placed detail, helping to better capture the real-world character of the city. From the CBD and Elizabeth Quay to Fremantle, Matagarup Bridge, Royal Perth Hospital, Langley Park and the surrounding marine areas, this package gives pilots more to see, more to use and more reasons to keep coming back.
Whether you are flying along the river, arriving into the city, exploring by helicopter, or setting up the perfect screenshot, Perth now feels like a proper destination. Built for day, night and everything in between Perth is stunning from the air, and this package has been designed to make that experience even better at any time of day. By day, the city is filled with more recognisable landmarks, hand-placed scenery and detailed waterfront areas. By night, enhanced lighting, animated features and illuminated landmarks bring a completely different atmosphere to the city.
Elizabeth Quay has received particular attention, with detailed scenery, animated lighting, billboards and selected MSFS 2024 walk mode support, giving you another way to experience one of Perth’s most iconic areas. More than just landmarks Perth Landmarks is built to add meaningful places to fly around, land at and explore. A highly detailed Royal Perth Hospital model is included, complete with a landable helipad, making it a great addition for helicopter pilots and emergency-service style operations. The Fremantle Docks area has also been enhanced with custom port detail, improved marine areas and vessels, and the AVWest Heliport Hangar has been included with time-controlled animation, opening at 8:00 AM and closing at 6:00 PM local simulator time.
You’ll also find a detailed Matagarup Bridge with animated lighting, improved waterfront scenery, and the included Langley Park Airstrip, giving you even more ways to enjoy Perth from the cockpit. Compatible with World Update Australia Perth Landmarks is compatible with the Microsoft Flight Simulator World Update Australia content. To get the intended experience, you will need to use the simulator’s Package Re-order Tool and ensure the Australian POIs package is placed above Perth Landmarks in the package order list. This allows the scenery to work correctly alongside the World Update Australia content while still giving you the enhanced Perth experience included with this package. A special tribute Included within the scenery is a memorial under the big Australian flag for our good friend Milo Taylor. It is a small but meaningful inclusion and something we are incredibly proud to have as part of Perth Landmarks.
Your next Australian city to explore Perth Landmarks gives Western Australia’s capital the presence it deserves in Microsoft Flight Simulator. It adds the landmarks you expect, the extra detail you notice, and the atmosphere that makes a city worth exploring again and again. From river runs and city circuits to helicopter work, night flights and scenic sightseeing, this package turns Perth into a proper destination in your simulator. Add Perth Landmarks to your collection and discover a more detailed, more immersive Perth from the skies.

It’s a place where precision flying meets a landscape that’s as functional as it is beautiful.
Surrounded by miles of cultivated fields, this airstrip puts you to work the moment you lift off. Tight patterns, low passes, and constant repositioning define the experience—but it all unfolds within one of the most visually distinct regions in the state.
Set near the base of the Sutter Buttes—often called the smallest mountain range in the world—the area offers a natural backdrop that’s impossible to miss. The Buttes give shape to the horizon, adding depth and identity to every approach without taking away from the job at hand.
Backwood Studios brings this environment to life with immersive detail, animated elements, and a fully explorable world that extends well beyond the runway—creating a space where work and landscape come together naturally.
