Moscow is the capital city and the most populous federal subject of Russia. The city is a major political, economic, cultural and scientific center in Russia and Eastern Europe. Moscow has the largest number of billionaire residents in the world, has been ranked as the second most expensive city in the world and is one of the world's largest urban economies. Moscow is the northernmost and coldest megacity and metropolis on Earth, the second-most populous city in Europe after Istanbul and the 8th largest city proper in the world, as well as the largest amongst high-income economies.
It is home to the Ostankino Tower, the tallest free-standing structure in Europe; Mercury City Tower, the tallest skyscraper in Europe, and the Moscow International Business Center. It is the largest city in Russia, with a population of over 12 million people (2014). By its territorial expansion on 1 July 2012 southwest into the Moscow Oblast, the capital increased its area 2. 5 times; from about 1,000 square kilometers (390 sq mi) up to 2,511 square kilometers (970 sq mi), and gained an additional population of 233,000 people.
Sheremetyevo Alexander S. Pushkin International Airport (IATA: SVO, ICAO: UUEE) is one of four international airports that serve the city of Moscow and is the busiest airport in Russia. Originally built as a military airbase, Sheremetyevo was converted into a civilian airport in 1959, and in a 2019 contest, was named after Russian poet Alexander Pushkin. The airport comprises six terminals: four international terminals (one under construction), one domestic terminal, and one private aviation terminal.
It is located 29 km (18 mi) northwest of central Moscow, in the city of Khimki, Moscow Oblast. In 2017, the airport handled 40. 1 million passengers and 308,090 aircraft movements. During 2018, the airport reported a 14. 3% increase in passengers for a total of 45. 8 million. There was also a 15. 9% increase in aircraft traffic year over year. Sheremetyevo serves as the main hub for Russian flag carrier Aeroflot and its branch Rossiya Airlines, Nordwind Airlines, and its branch Pegas Fly, Royal Flight, and Ural Airlines.
Sheremetyevo International Airport currently has five operating passenger terminals and one special terminal reserved for the use of private and business aviation. The airport's terminals are divided into two groups based on geographical location: the north and south terminal areas. The two-terminal areas are linked by regular internal and external bus services. Terminal A opened in 2012 to the east of Terminal B and is used for the servicing of business and private aviation.
The new terminal B commenced its operations on 3 May 2018. The terminal is connected by an interterminal underground passage with Sheremetyevo's southern terminals and the Aeroexpress railway station. The former Terminal C was closed on 1 April 2017 to be demolished for the reconstruction of a newer terminal. Integrated with the now-reconstructed domestic Terminal B, the new Terminal C is designed to serve up to 20 million passengers.

Russia is the largest country in the world. It is a federal semi-presidential republic. From northwest to southeast, Russia shares land borders with Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland (both with Kaliningrad Oblast), Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, China, Mongolia, and North Korea.
Most of Russia consists of vast stretches of plains that are predominantly steppe to the south and heavily forested to the north, with tundra along the northern coast. Russia has about 1300 airports.
Moscow is the capital city and the most populous federal subject of Russia. The city is a major political, economic, cultural and scientific center in Russia and Eastern Europe. According to Forbes 2013, Moscow has the largest number of billionaire residents in the world, has been ranked as the second most expensive city in the world by Mercer and is one of the world's largest urban economies, being ranked as an alpha global city according to the Globalization and World Cities Research Network and is also one of the fastest-growing tourist destinations in the world according to the MasterCard Global Destination Cities Index.
Moscow is the northernmost and coldest megacity and metropolis on Earth, the second-most populous city in Europe after Istanbul and the 8th largest city proper in the world, as well as the largest amongst high-income economies.
Originally established in 1147 as a minor town, Moscow grew to become a prosperous and powerful city that served as the capital of the Grand Duchy that bears its namesake. When the Grand Duchy of Moscow evolved into the Tsardom of Russia, Moscow still remained as the political and economic center for most of the Tsardom's history.
When the Tsardom was reformed into the Russian Empire, the capital was moved from Moscow to Saint Petersburg, diminishing the influence of the city. The capital was then moved back to Moscow following the Russian Revolution and the city was brought back as the political centre of the Russian SFSR and the Soviet Union. When the Soviet Union dissolved, Moscow remained as the capital city of the contemporary and newly established Russian Federation.

Experience Oxford airport as it was meant to be with London Oxford Airport (EGTK) from Cloudberry Creations. Developed for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 from the ground up and designed to represent the updated 2026 airport layout, EGTK offers a solid blend of realism along with solid performance for all fliers.
London Oxford, previously known as (and still commonly called) Kidlington Airport, has been a hub for UK pilots for years with thousands of trainees passing through either on the way to their PPL or CPL/ATPL. While known as a centre for training, Oxford Airport also offers VIP/Charter services, allowing those lucky enough to have their own private jet a field to come and go from while visiting the UK. The airport has also harkened back to its roots as RAF Kidlington by hosting a number of planes from nearby military sites such as RAF Brize Norton, this versatility allows it to service everything from the smallest prop plane all the way up to Boeing Business Jets.
The scenery aims to replicate the look and feel of London Oxford Airport, with custom models and textures for all the major buildings on site. The scenery also features an up to date layout reflecting recent changes and growth at the airport. Custom assets and props help make the site feel alive while keeping performance high and giving users the experience they expect in MSFS 2024.
- Custom textures and models built to represent every major building on site
- Hand built models to represent recent construction work at the airport (new Airbus hangar, science park, fire station etc)
- Accurate apron appearance and layout designed to match the current 2026 configuration of EGTK
- Hand placed taxi signs and new taxiways to reflect the current 2026 layout
- Hand placed vegetation, parking and road markings to bring the surrounding airport area to life
- Specially made construction areas representing the ongoing improvements to the real life airport
- Refined LOD system for every model to maintain strong performance across a variety of user setups
On top of ongoing improvements to the textures, models and general bug fixing, Cloudberry Creations aim to offer long term support of the layout of the airport. Currently EGTK is going through a significant expansion phase; this has led to the new taxiway layout, the new fire station and a number of new hangars along with an adjoining science park. Everything currently built as part of this expansion has already been represented in the scenery but as building continues and more is completed, we plan on updating the airport buildings and taxiways to match their real life changes free of charge as part of our offering.

GoFish turns the world’s waterways into your fishing playground, all without ever leaving the simulator.
Under the hood, GoFish uses a real species database powered by scientific occurrence data (OBIS + GBIF) and a custom WASM engine. Every catch is driven by where you are, the current month, time of day, and whether you’re in freshwater, saltwater, or brackish environments.
With over 200 distinct species, each with realistic habitats, sizes, seasons, and rarity, you’ll always have something new to discover as you explore the globe.
An integrated in‑sim EFB app (tablet-style interface) handles everything: starting/stopping fishing, choosing bait and line, managing reel and drag, and reviewing your catch history. Whether you’re a simmer who wants a relaxing activity between flights or a completionist hunting rare trophies, GoFish layers a friendly fishing game directly into MSFS 2024.

YSWS Western Sydney International Airport, officially known as Nancy-Bird Walton International Airport (ICAO: YSWS, IATA: WSI), is Australia’s first major greenfield airport development in decades. Located in the Badgerys Creek and Luddenham region, around 44 kilometers west of Sydney’s central business district, the airport was designed to meet the long-term aviation needs of the Greater Sydney region and the country as a whole. As a curfew-free facility with a masterplanned layout, it represents a new era of connectivity, infrastructure, and opportunity for both passengers and freight.
From its inception, the project was envisioned to relieve pressure on the existing Kingsford Smith Airport, which operates under significant curfew restrictions and is surrounded by dense urban development. Western Sydney Airport offers unrestricted 24-hour operations and has been integrated into one of the most ambitious transport and development plans in the region’s history. At the core of the airport’s first phase is a 3. 7-kilometer runway (05/23) paired with a state-of-the-art terminal capable of handling both domestic and international flights. The initial terminal capacity is designed for around five million passengers annually, with future expansion expected to accommodate more than eighty million by the 2060s.
The airport sits at the heart of the Western Sydney Aerotropolis - a large-scale economic and infrastructure precinct that combines logistics, science, education, agribusiness, advanced manufacturing, health, and research industries into a single integrated development zone. This zone is expected to generate tens of thousands of jobs and attract billions in private and public investment over the coming decades. The airport acts as a catalyst for long-term growth, positioning Greater Western Sydney as a global hub for innovation and industry.
Western Sydney Airport is designed with future expansion in mind. Foundations for a second runway and additional terminal facilities were planned from the beginning. Its design includes wide, open concourses, flexible gate infrastructure, and intuitive wayfinding to allow seamless movement between domestic and international operations. The terminal architecture is inspired by natural forms and local heritage, blending sandstone, native landscaping, and regional cultural motifs into a space that feels both modern and deeply connected to its environment.
One of the defining features of the airport is its integration with surrounding transportation systems. A dedicated motorway - the M12 - connects the terminal directly to Sydney’s road network, while a newly built 23-kilometer metro rail line links the airport to key suburban centers and the wider city. This ensures convenient access for passengers, staff, and cargo, and supports the airport’s role as a fully connected multimodal transport hub.
Sustainability and innovation are also core elements of the project. The airport terminal features extensive solar energy arrays, rainwater harvesting systems, and passive climate control mechanisms. It is also the site of Australia’s first digital air traffic control facility, using high-resolution remote camera systems instead of a traditional control tower. The airport’s apron layout, lighting systems, and taxiway structure are designed for high efficiency, minimizing taxi times and reducing emissions from ground operations.
Western Sydney itself is one of Australia’s most diverse and fastest-growing regions. With a population exceeding 2. 5 million and increasing every year, the area around the airport represents a dynamic mix of residential, commercial, and natural landscapes. The arrival of a major international airport in this region has brought significant urban transformation, infrastructure development, and economic uplift. Educational institutions, research centers, and corporate headquarters have started to establish a presence in the surrounding precincts, building a strong ecosystem around the airport.
In addition to passenger services, the airport is a key freight hub. A dedicated cargo precinct supports 24-hour operations and is linked directly to road and rail freight corridors. It is capable of handling hundreds of thousands of tonnes of goods annually, supporting both domestic logistics and international trade. With high ceilings, wide-body aircraft capacity, and purpose-built warehousing, the freight area is among the most advanced in the country.
For Microsoft Flight Simulator users, YSWS Western Sydney Airport MSFS recreates this impressive new facility with precision and realism. The scenery includes high-resolution ground imagery, custom-modeled terminal interiors, dynamic lighting, accurately placed apron objects, and animated metro trains. Runway lighting, signage, and approach aids are implemented according to current aviation standards. Performance has been optimized using level-of-detail modeling throughout, allowing smooth operation without compromising visual quality.
Whether used as a domestic hub, a long-haul gateway, or a cargo operations center, YSWS offers a unique flight simulation experience. It reflects the ambition and scale of modern aviation infrastructure and brings to life a major airport that will shape the future of Sydney and Australia for generations to come.
Our YSWS MSFS scenery sets a new standard for realism and performance. Built with high-resolution drone-derived ground textures, full PBR materials, custom lighting systems, animated service vehicles and metro trains, and hand-crafted interior spaces, every inch of the airport is optimized for both immersion and performance. Static service elements and detailed apron wear add life and realism, while seamless LODs ensure a smooth experience across all systems.
- High-quality model of YSWS Western Sydney Airport, featuring the up-to-date version with extensive details throughout the whole airport
- FPS-friendly design, with epic night textures, dynamic lighting and PBR materials
- High definition mesh including exact runway profile
