EPWA Warsaw Chopin MSFS is a highly detailed scenery of Chopin Airport in Warsaw, Poland. This product is compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Warsaw Chopin Airport (IATA: WAW, ICAO: EPWA) is Poland's largest and busiest airport, covering 834 hectares and handling nearly 40% of the country's air passenger traffic. It operates about 300 scheduled flights daily and increasing charter operations, handling up to 34 operations per hour. The airport opened in 1934 and has been rebuilt several times. It features two crossing runways (2800m and 3690m), hangars, a cargo terminal, and a passenger terminal rebuilt between 2008 and 2015.
Originally called Warsaw-Okecie Airport, it retained the name of its Okęcie neighborhood until it was renamed after Polish composer Frédéric Chopin in 2001. Despite the name change, "Okęcie" remains widely used in air traffic and industry communications.
The airport moved from Mokotów Fields to Okęcie in 1934 due to urban growth. The new airport, costing 10 million Zloty, included modern hangars, exhibition spaces, and a terminal with concrete taxiways. By 1938, it was equipped with advanced radio systems and Lorenz beam navigation, ensuring safer landings. The airport became a hub for both domestic and international flights, connecting Warsaw with cities like Tel Aviv and Beirut.
During World War II, the airport was heavily bombed and later destroyed by retreating German forces, leaving most of the infrastructure in ruins. After the war, LOT Polish Airlines resumed operations at the airport, and reconstruction followed, including a new terminal, control tower, and aircraft stands. By the late 1940s, Warsaw’s airport re-established connections with major cities like Berlin and Brussels.
In the 1960s, the airport expanded with radar systems and a modern terminal to handle 1 million passengers annually. However, growing demand quickly exceeded this capacity. By 1969, the airport handled its first million passengers, leading to the construction of temporary facilities. In the 1980s, political and economic changes led to plans for further expansion, overseen by the State Enterprise "Polish Airports" (PPL).
After the fall of communism, a new terminal built by Hochtief increased capacity to 3. 5 million passengers annually. Officially opened in 1992, it was soon overwhelmed by rising passenger numbers, reaching 4 million by 1999. Further expansions followed, including more check-in desks.
In the 2000s, the airport saw further growth with "Terminal 2," part of the largest investment in Polish civil aviation history. The terminals were later merged into "Terminal A. " In 2012, a suburban rail connection opened for UEFA Euro 2012, improving access.
By 2023, Warsaw Chopin Airport had become one of Europe’s busiest, serving over 18 million passengers annually and handling nearly 40% of Poland’s air traffic.

The WHOLE wilderness in Alaska is constellated by thoudsands of small airstrips, mostly private, and there is almost no better place for learning and practicing bush flying!
NOW YOU CAN
Using dozens of pictures taken from the web and the TV series, I've been able to mentally map the whole area and meticulously reproduce each inch of the above.
Referencing has been the hardest part, and you won't notice at all that who designed this has NEVER been there before!
Each tent, tank, cabin, has been reproduced in detail.
Wanna know what's inside?

The truck location is secret.
To obtain it you need to complete the emergency missions, there are 12 of them, a new mission is shown on the emergency panel every hours, 2 times per day.
1. Fly to emergency mission coordinates
2. Land your helicopter in a suitable location: the right one is marked with four objects (cones, poles, bales and so on) in a square pattern. A blue box will appear to confirm you are in the right spot
3. Using the drone camera, explore the emergency area, looking for yellow signs, they contain the needed information to find the poor girl
Coordinates are as follow:
North AB. CDF
East JH. JKM
The sign has a letter and a number, so you need 10 of them
Have fun!
To accomplish missions (of for additional fun) two additional helipad has been provided in Halle Hospistal, ICAO are HSTMM (land helipad) and HBGKL (roof helipad)

NetDesign's goal with this airport was to provide a home base for your high-fidelity GA aircraft. Scenery objects such as cars were selected for realism, and textures on the buildings and objects remain crisp at all times. Starting positions are available inside two hangars and at the end of each taxiway, so that you can enjoy all the scenery. When in the mood for light GA aircraft, we recommend flying to nearyby CRL2 (Westport, also available from NetDesign) for those quick GA flights just to stretch your wings.

It is by far the largest airport in Nebraska, serving ten times more passengers than all other Nebraska airports combined, and is named for Eugene C. It is by far the largest airport in Nebraska, serving ten times more passengers than all other Nebraska airports combined, and is named for Eugene C. Eppley, the Eppley Hotel magnate of Omaha, from whose estate $1. 0 million was used to convert Omaha Municipal Airport into a jetport in 1959-60.
The airport occupies 2,650 acres (1,070 ha) and handles about 120 airline flights per day to and from 20 daily and 3 seasonal non-stop destinations. Eppley served 4. 17 million passengers in 2015 (including both enplaned and deplaned passengers).
As of January 2017, Omaha has no international passenger flights. The airport handled more than 4. 1 million passengers in 2014. Southwest Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and American Airlines are the first-, second-, and third-largest carriers and serve about 33 percent, 22 percent, and 22 percent, respectively, of passengers.
In January 2016, Eppley Airfield completed the expansion of its on-site United States Customs and Border Protection facility (CBP) to provide greater customs and inspection services for international passengers. While Eppley Airfield is classified as a "Customs Landing Rights Airport" for international flights (officially an "international airport") by United States Customs and Border Protection, there is no regularly scheduled international passenger service; however, the airport does handle international charter and private flights.
The airport is northeast of downtown Omaha in east Omaha. Although the airport is in Nebraska on the west side of the Missouri River, it is surrounded on the east, west and south by the state of Iowa: the Missouri River formerly formed an oxbow west of the land that became Eppley Airfield.
Airlines operating at Omaha:
Alaska, SkyWest, Allegiant, American, American Eagle, Delta, Delta Connection, Frontier, Southwest United and United Express.
Cargo airlines:
Ameriflight, AirNet Express, DHL, FedEx and UPS.

PRODUCT NOTE
Due to MSFS ground photogrammetry engine, it's common to face a few jagged edges on some airports borders/corners. As you may know, if photogrammetry is set to OFF they disappear.
So far the SDK does not provide a tool to handle this properly, and this issue will be present when photogrammetry is ON, whether you use a default or add-on airport.
It's not a big deal, it shows over a small area, but it's there. So it's a user's choice to set photogrammetry ON or OFF to enjoy the flight.
FEATURES
- Highly detailed rendition of Eppley Airfield / KOMA located in Omaha, Nebraska - USA
- Full night illumination
- Native MSFS Dynamic Lighting
- Functional animated jetway
- Seamless integration with default MSFS scenery
- Usage of MSFS SDK FlightSim Materials + PBR
- Usage of MSFS SDK native gITF models
