Ordis (LEWG) is home to just one flight school and many private owners flying locally around the North of Catalonia. The airfield is located in l`Alt Empordà, very close to Figueres, birthplace of Salvador Dalí. Within 30 minutes flight you can get to Girona (LEGE), Perpignan (LFMP), Ampuriabrava (LEAP) or flying into the Pyrinees to La Cerdanya (LECD). Ordis is a challenging airfield with a strong upslope on runway 34 and a perpendicular short runway of just 310 meters 07/25. When Tramontana wi... La Cerdanya Aerodrome (LECD) is a well-known spot among gliders pilots for its perfect conditions for Thermal Flights. But you can also find hot air balloons, a Skydiving company and a flight school. The airfield is located 3586ft AMSL in a mountain valley between the Pre-Pyrenees and Pyrenees, covered by snow in winter and very close to Andorra-La Seu Airport (LESU) and Girona-Costa Brava Airport (LEGE). When the Tramontana wind hits the aerodrome, you can find heavy turbulence at mid altitudes... La Cerdanya Aerodrome (LECD) is a well-known spot among gliders pilots for its perfect conditions for Thermal Flights. But you can also find hot air balloons, a Skydiving company and a flight school. The Mil Mi-17 export version is employed by around 20 countries; its equivalent in Russian service in the Mi-8M series. The only visible differences between the Mi-8 and Mi-17 are:
A) the position of the tail rotor (Mi-8 right side, Mi-17 left side),
B) the shape of the exhausts (Mi-8 circular, Mi-17 oval), and
