In real world flying, the skies are filled with traffic hazards. It is very common for air traffic control to not be in radio contact with many of these traffic factors. It is up to you, as the pilot, to visually acquire the traffic and avoid a collision. Add a unique challenge and increase your immersive simulator experience by using Traffic in Sight!

The 650 mile, 1000 kilometer, Tennessee River is the 6th largest river by discharge rate in N America and has many large bridges and dams. It starts in Knoxville Tennessee traveling south west through Chattanooga to Guntersville Alabama then heading north west to join the Ohio River at Paducah, Kentucky. This is about 30 miles, 50 kilometer, east of Cairo, Illinois where the Ohio River joins the Mississippi River. The river is important for moving materials by barge and has 9 dams and locks to facilitate the traffic.
River barges and rail bridges in the sim are mostly covered by water but this package brings them and the river to life. Models of dams and bridges have replaced the default or missing items in the sim. Many of the bridges are very large, built in the early 1900’s and are still in use, but many have been demolished and replaced by more modern designs.
The MSFS scenery is a vast improvement over previous flight sims. However bridges over large waterways, rivers or other bodies of water are very noticeable and are an eyesore destroying realism. Rkbridger packages solve that issue with bridge packages which show the bridges in their true magnificence and also improves the entire landscape along the stretch of water modeled. All bridges are modeled in the correct architectural style with appropriate night lighting and traffic flowing on the bridges.
POIs have been placed at each model and are listed below.
Photogrammetry must be ON to ensure models integrate correctly with the sim.
The package works with both MSFS2020 and MSFS2024 but due to terrain elevation errors in MSFS2024 a few bridges do not currently integrate into MSFS2024 correctly.
Models of bridges, dams and locks are listed below:
- South Knoxville Bridge - Gay St Bridge - Norfolk Rail Bridge - Henley St Bridge - Kuwahee Rail Bridge - Karnes Bridge - Pellissippi Bridge - Northshore Dr Bridge - Concord Bridge - Fort Loudon Bridge - Lenoir Bridge - Canal Branch Bridge - Loudon Bridge - Loudon Rail Bridge - I-75 Bridge - Decatur Hwy Bridge - Watts Bar Dam Bridge - Old Washington Bridge - Tri-County Vets Bridge - Chickamauga Dam Bridge - Tennbridge - Robinson Bridge - Chattanooga Vets Bridge - Walnut St Pedestrian Bridge - John Ross Bridge - Williams Memorial Bridge - Marion Memorial Bridge - I-24 Bridge - Shelby Rhinehart Bridge - Bridgeport Bridge - Bridgeport Pedestrian Bridge - Bridgeport Drawbridge - Snodgrass Bridge - Veterans Dr Bridge - Rt431 Guntersville Bridge - Clement Clay New Bridge - Clement Clay Old Bridge - I-65 Bridge - Steamboat Girder Bridge - Steamboat Concrete Bridge - NS Tennessee Rail Bridge - Wheeler Dam Bridge - Wilson Dam Bridge - Singing River Bridge - Old Rail Bridge - O Neal Bridge - Coffee Bridge - Pickwick Dam Bridge - Savannah Bridge - Rt 641 Bridge - Alvin York Bridge - Evans Memorial Bridge - Hickman Lockhart Bridge - New Johnsonville Rail Lift Bridge - McWherter Bridge - Eggners Ferry Bridge - Kentucky Dam Bridge - Kentucky Dam Rail Bridge - Draffen Bridges - Rt 62 Bridge - Ledbetter Bridge

I'm aware that many cities, surrounding hills, and mountains still need refinement. In particular, Photogrammetry cities with combined Photogrammetry and real trees can sometimes produce oversized trees. I'm working diligently to address this issue, city by city.
My approach involves removing Photogrammetry from trees and small houses, as they often appear merged and distorted. I also remove spiky mountains and forests, while preserving main high-rise buildings and important structures. If you prefer not to have this modification, you can simply delete the corresponding file from the scenery folder.
