KBFI Boeing Field MSFS is a highly detailed scenery of Boeing Field, officially King County International Airport in Seattle, WA, USA. This product is compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator. King County International Airport, commonly known as Boeing Field (IATA: BFI, ICAO: KBFI, FAA LID: BFI), is a public-use airport situated just south of Seattle's central business district. Established in 1928, it's one of the oldest operating airfields in the United States and was Seattle's primary airport until the opening of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in 1944. Boeing Field spans an area of 634 acres (257 ha) and is positioned at an elevation of 21 feet (6 m). The airport features two asphalt runways: 14R/32L, which is 10,007 by 200 feet (3,050 x 61 m), and 14L/32R, measuring 3,709 by 100 feet (1,131 x 30 m). Boeing Field has played a crucial role in the Boeing Company's history. In the 1960s, the initial assembly of the Boeing 737 aircraft took place at Boeing Field because the Renton factory was at capacity with the production of the Boeing 707 and 727 models. After completing 271 aircraft, the production was moved to Renton in late 1970. The airport also features facilities for final preparations and delivery of Boeing 737 aircraft after their first test flights, including a paint hangar and flight test facilities. Boeing Field features two primary runways: 14R/32L and 14L/32R. These runways cater to a diverse range of aircraft, from light single-engine planes to large commercial jets. The airfield is equipped with a modern control tower, multiple hangars, a terminal building, and extensive maintenance facilities. It serves a variety of aviation needs, including commercial, cargo, military, and general aviation. One of the airport's key attractions is the Museum of Flight, which is a remarkable institution dedicated to the history and science of aviation and space flight. Established in 1965, it has grown into one of the largest and most significant air and space museums in the world. This museum offers a rich exploration of human flight, from the earliest dreams of soaring in the sky to the complex realities of modern space exploration. The museum's collection boasts over 150 aircraft and spacecraft, along with thousands of artifacts, photographs, and documents. One of the highlights of the collection is the original Boeing 747 prototype, which revolutionized long-distance air travel. Also on display is an ex-British Airways Concorde, one of the few places in the world where visitors can experience this icon of supersonic travel. Beyond these headliners, the museum's exhibits span a wide range of aviation history. These include World War I and II fighter planes, early commercial airliners, and a growing array of space exploration vehicles. The personal stories of pilots, engineers, and passengers bring these artifacts to life, offering insights into the human side of air and space travel. Boeing's presence at the airport is marked by the Boeing Delivery Center , primarily focused on the final stages of aircraft delivery for Boeing’s commercial airplanes. Located near Seattle, Washington, this facility is where Boeing completes the handover of its newly manufactured aircraft to customers. The main activities at the Delivery Center involve final preparations of aircraft after they leave Boeing's manufacturing sites. This includes conducting final inspections, implementing customer-specific customizations, and, occasionally, performing additional flight tests. Customers, typically airlines or private buyers, visit the Delivery Center to inspect their new aircraft before taking delivery. This inspection is a crucial part of the aircraft purchase process, ensuring that the specifications and quality meet the purchaser's requirements. The facility is equipped to handle various Boeing models and is designed to cater to the needs of different customers. The Boeing Delivery Center plays a significant role in Boeing's supply chain, marking the final step in the aircraft manufacturing process before airplanes enter service. It is an essential part of Boeing's overall operation, facilitating the transition of aircraft from manufacturing to active use by airlines and other operators around the world. Boeing Field also serves as a key testing and delivery site for Boeing aircraft. New models and variants undergo rigorous flight testing procedures at the airport, taking advantage of its facilities and airspace. The airport's strategic location and infrastructure make it ideal for these critical phases of aircraft development and delivery.

Seasons span the globe, showcasing a striking dichotomy between the northern and southern hemispheres. Imagine departing from New York during autumn and landing in Buenos Aires, where spring’s lush vegetation awaits your arrival. Alternatively, venture from Sydney during Australia’s winter and touch down in Seattle, greeted by the vibrant greenery of summer!
Enhanced Content
Easily access specialized regional enhancements via the REX cloud as they become available. . . without the need to update the application!
Many Global Areas Updated for Accurate Vegetation Representation
New biomes have been created to depict steppe, tundra, Australian scrublands, New Zealand vegetation, and different conifer regions. Iceland’s conifer trees were replaced with suitable vegetation. A large central part of the United States now features deciduous trees, not conifer forests. Palm trees added to many cities where there were none.
Winter Deciduous Trees
Deciduous winter trees appear for all areas where the simulator depicts deciduous trees and the winter season applies. These trees show significantly less leaves and look great in winter landscapes with or without snow.
Selectable Deciduous Tree Canopy
In addition to the default rounded canopy, you can opt for an irregular-shaped canopy for deciduous trees. This unique canopy design adds a delightful touch, enhancing the diversity of shapes among deciduous trees. Furthermore, it often results in greater color variation within the tree, enhancing the overall depth and richness of its colors.
Tree Height Adjustment
3 options are available for tree height: short, medium, and tall. Additionally, some trees have been properly sized in the app to reflect more realistic proportions, such as the massively sized default trees that are displayed in Sydney Australia.

The MSFS scenery is a vast improvement over previous flight sims. However bridges over large waterways, rivers or other bodies of water are very noticeable and are an eyesore destroying realism. Rkbridger packages solve that issue with bridge packages which show the bridges in their true magnificence and also improves the entire landscape along the stretch of water modeled.
Some default photos have been included to compare with the Rkbridger product.
Bridge packages have now been completed from Boston, Massachusetts thru New York City and New Jersey to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
POIs have been placed at the bridges which are listed below with the number of bridges at those locations. Typically when there are more than one bridge at a location the bridges were built at different times with different styles or sizes.

Yakutat Army Airfield, a large aviation garrison and paved runway, was constructed as part of the United States Army's long-range defense program for Alaska. It was used in combat by the 406th Bombardment Squadron from June–November 1942 by the 28th Bombardment Group. During the peak of military activity in Yakutat from October 1940 to 1946, U. S. Army and U. S. Army Air Corps constructed the Yakutat airport, fuel dock and fuel tank farm, and a fuel pipeline to the airport with tankage. Also constructed was a full field hospital, possible beach landing defenses, over 100 miles of roads and bridges to connect all of the various field facilities and housing for the nearly 10,000 troops who were stationed in Yakutat to support and protect the airport. Nowadays Yakutat Airport is a state-owned public-use airport located 6 km southeast of the central business district of Yakutat, a city and borough in the U. S. state of Alaska which has no road access to the outside world. Only Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-700 use this airport for commercial flights. Also, a lot of general aviation arrives during all seasons. People come here to enjoy exciting views and to catch fish in the wild rivers of Alaska.

The airport includes a single terminal with a jetway with air service that is operated for a whole year by Alaska Airlines and seasonally by Delta Air Lines regional affiliate Delta Connection which is operated by SkyWest Airlines. The single paved runway is located on a causeway that juts off Japonski Island—buried on airport grounds patients who died from tuberculosis from the nearby SEARHC/Mt. Edgecumbe Hospital had to be relocated during construction. That section of the airport is, by this day, unofficially referred to as The Mausoleum. Sitka Rocky Gutierrez Airport is located at an elevation of approximately 26 feet (8 meters) above mean sea level. The property includes one runway designated 11/29 with an asphalt surface measuring 7,200 by 150 feet (2,195 x 46 m). For one year, ending January 2, 2011, the facility had 23,100 aircraft operations, that on average, equals 63 per day. 43% of them represent air taxi, 8% scheduled commercial, 43% general aviation, and 6% military. At that time, there were thirty aircraft based at this airport, with 70% of them single-engine, 10% military, 13% ultralight, and 7% multi-engine. SIT also has hangars and offices that serve local air traffic control, together with the Civil Air Patrol, and various private enterprises. U. S. Coast Guard Air Station Sitka has a complex attached to the Sitka Rocky Safety hazards involve ocean waves washing onto the runway during high winds, storms due to its exposed location, and significant flocks of birds that live very close to the airport. Because of these hazards, the airport is listed by airfarewatchdog. com as one of the ten most thrilling landing experiences in the world. Alaska Airlines has served Sitka for about fifty years. In 1967, Alaska Air was operating Boeing 727-100 jet service into the facility on a round trip from Seattle to Kotzebue and was also operating flights with Convair 240 propliner service nonstop to Juneau. By 1969, Alaska Air had added a few stops on the route between Seattle and Alaska. It was operating a Boeing 727-100 jetliner on a round trip routing from Seattle to Sitka and the final destination at Kotzebue in addition to working Convair 240 service on a round trip routing of Annette Island Airport - Wrangell - Petersburg - Sitka - Juneau. Over the years, Alaska Air also operated Boeing 727-200 and 737-200 jets into the airport before switching to later model Boeing 737 jetliners. In 1986, Anchorage-based AirPac was working jet service into SIT with a British Aerospace BAe 146-100 aircraft that was flying a round trip routing of Seattle - Sitka - Anchorage. Alaska Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and Alaska Seaplanes now operate in the airport. The main plane on this route is a Boeing 737-700 passenger, cargo, and mixed modification by Alaska Airlines.

Fort Wayne is named after Anthony Wayne, of the United States Continental Army, who built a series of fortifications in the area near the community of Kekionga, the largest of the settlements of the Miami Amerindian tribe. These people settled in the area in the mid-17th century, and were related to the Algonquians.
The settlement's foundation was geographically strategic, as the rivers today called Maumee, Saint Joseph and Saint Mary converge and this was vital for trade and transport. nnIn 1790, President George Washington ordered his army to take Indiana, and after losing battles against Miami, in a third incursion he managed to seize power in the area. After that the chief Michikinikwa (Little Turtle) decided to sign the peace.
The lights have been added for greater realism in the simulator. Are visible at great distances and through a huge area of the city. Not only the buildings, but also the highways and intersections of highways were fully illuminated. Your flight will be totally different with this product.

Seattle Paine Field International Airport (IATA: PAE, ICAO: KPAE, FAA LID: PAE), also known as Paine Field and Snohomish County Airport, is a commercial and general aviation airport serving the Seattle metropolitan area in the U. S. state of Washington. It is located in unincorporated Snohomish County, Washington, between the cities of Mukilteo and Everett, about 25 miles (40 km) north of Seattle. Paine Field has two runways. 16R-34L, at 9,010 feet (2,750 m) in length, is suited for the majority of aircraft and sees occasional heavy traffic. Runway 16L-34R is 3,004 feet (916 m) in length, and suitable only for small aircraft. The Paine (PAE) VOR/DME is unusually mounted on top of a Boeing hangar. The airport has 456 general aviation hangars. The airport was built in 1936 by the Works Progress Administration and began commercial service in 1939. It was named for an American airmail and Army Air Corps pilot, Topliff Olin Paine in 1941, shortly before the Army Air Corps began the occupation of Paine Field for military use. During his air mail career, Paine became nationally recognized for his accomplishments while flying through rugged terrain and snowstorms in the Rocky Mountains. From 1920 to 1922, Paine flew primarily out of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Salt Lake City, Utah, for the Air Mail Service, becoming one of the top fliers in the Western Division. The airport briefly returned to civilian use in the late 1940s, before conversion into an air force base during the Korean War. In 1966, the Boeing Company selected Paine Field for the site of its Everett assembly plant as part of the Boeing 747 program. The Boeing Everett Factory includes the largest building in the world by volume at 13,385,378 m3 (472,370,319 cu ft) and covers 98. 7 acres (39. 9 ha). Boeing began offering factory tours with the first rollout of the 747 in 1968. As of 2020 over 150,000 people come each year to visit the factory, which employs over 30,000 people. Across the airport to the west is The Boeing Store, a theater, and the Future of Flight Aviation Center, which runs the factory tour. To accommodate the Dreamlifter, a converted 747-400 which delivered 787 sections to the plant, a base was constructed on the western edge of Paine Field's runway and opened in 2013. By the 1970s, the airport had grown into a hub for light aviation and manufacturing, lacking commercial service. The county government sought to begin commercial service at Paine Field as early as the 1980s but was halted by opposition from neighboring cities. In March 2019, Paine Field resumed commercial service at a newly constructed terminal.
