The airport was renamed Clayton Scott Field in 2005. The airport's northern boundary is Lake Washington and the Will Rogers–Wiley Post Memorial Seaplane Base. Renton Airport has a floating dock and a launching ramp for conversion from wheeled landings to water takeoffs and landings. The airport is owned by the City of Renton and is a general aviation airport that serves Renton and other nearby communities. It provides regional aviation services for air charter, air taxi, corporate, business, and recreational flyers. It is included in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2017–2021, in which it is categorized as a regional reliever facility. The airport is located approximately 12 miles southeast of downtown Seattle near the south end of Lake Washington. US Customs service is available for both floatplane and wheeled aircraft arriving by water or by land. Renton Airport is adjacent to the Boeing Renton Factory and is the initial point of departure for airplanes produced in that facility. The Boeing Company's Renton, Washington Factory is a facility where the 737 MAX 7, 737 MAX 8, 737 MAX 9, and 737 MAX 10 models are built. The floor space covered is 1. 1 million square feet (102,000 square meters). The Boeing Renton Factory is built on land reclaimed by the lowering of the level of Lake Washington in 1916. From 1916 until 1936 it belonged to the family of Pioneer Washington Coal Industrialist Charles H. Burnett for whom Burnett Avenue and Burnett Park in Renton are named. Burnett acquired the land intending to use it for coal storage and shipment. Amy Louise Burnett Bond, Charles Burnett's daughter, whose mother died young, was raised by Mr. and Mrs. Howard Cranston Potter as the foster sister and godmother of Bertha Potter (Mrs. William Boeing). The Burnett family operated the land as a hay farm. In 1936 Amy Burnett Bond transferred the property back to the state government. It was still mostly semi swamp economically marginal and would cost millions to improve. The property was then transferred by the State of Washington to the federal government at the start of World War II. The Navy Department established an aircraft factory there for the production of the Boeing PBB Sea Ranger flying boat. This order was canceled, however, to free the factory for the production of the Boeing B-29 Superfortress, the factory being transferred to the Army in exchange for use of the North American Aviation Kansas City factory for the production of land based North American B-25 Mitchells for the US Marine Corps as PBJ-1s. In the Boeing Renton Factory, the following aircraft were built: B-29 (>1000), C-97 (~1000), Boeing 707/KC-135 (>1000), Boeing 727 (almost 2000), Boeing 737 (11000 and growing), Boeing 747 (3 refurbished) and Boeing 757 (>1000). Renton Municipal Airport covers an area of 170 acres (69 ha) at an elevation of 32 feet (9. 8 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 16/34 with asphalt and concrete surface measuring 5,382 by 200 feet (1,640 m × 61 m). In 2016, the airport had 122,908 aircraft operations, an average of 337 per day: 98% general aviation, 1% air taxi, <1% scheduled commercial, and <1% military. In July 2017, there were 337 aircraft based at this airport: 243 single-engine, 13 multi-engine, 4 jet, and 8 helicopters.

The "Flying Barrel" was not to see combat, being superceded by the new generation of monoplane ship-board fighters, the Grumman F4F Wildcat around the time of the attack on Pearl Harbour.
In 1936, a special Grumman F3F-1 was built by the factory for Major Alford “ Al” Williams, head of aviation for Gulf Oil Company and well-known aerobatic display pilot. The aeroplane was flown as a demonstrator for Gulf Oil (and Grumman) and appeared at air-shows and military displays all over the U. S. before WW2.
Called “Gulfhawk II” and powered by a 1000hp version of the Cyclone, the aeroplane displayed its aerobatic capabilities, speed and strength to great effect. So much so that the airframe was not retired until 1948 when Williams flew it on its final flight to Washington, after which it was to take its rightful place in the now Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. Gulfhawk II is included in this package and would make an ideal starter for the Reno Races!
The package includes a variety of colourful liveries from pre-war fighter squadrons
Innovative Features :
- Beautifully crafted exterior and interior models built over contemporary detailed plans and drawings

This package contains static, landable objects for the Ford class ships and is primarily meant as companion of IndiaFoxtEcho F-35C and T-45C aircrafts for carrier recovery and launch operation. .
The Gerald R. Ford class is a class of nuclear powered aircraft carriers currently being constructed for the United States Navy.
The class, with a planned total of ten ships, will replace the Navy's current carriers on a one-for-one basis, starting with the lead ship, Gerald R. Ford replacing Enterprise (CVN-65), and then eventually taking the place of the existing Nimitz-class carriers.
The new vessels have a hull similar to the Nimitz class, but introduce technologies since developed with the CVN(X)/CVN-21 program, such as the Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS), as well as other design features intended to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs, including sailing with smaller crews.
This class of aircraft carriers is named after former US President Gerald R. Ford.
The biggest visible difference from earlier supercarriers is the more aft location of the island (superstructure). The Gerald R. Ford-class carriers will have a reduced whole-life cost due in part to reduced crew size.
These ships are intended to sustain 160 sorties per day for 30-plus days, with a surge capability of 270 sorties per day.
IMPORTANT!
This package only contains only static landable objects.
Crash must be disabled to avoid potential collision detection issues. Landmarks point are provided, but there are no Navaids associated.
Flights cannot be started directly from the ships.
Due to the high detail, there may be a slight stuttering once the ship loads (approximately 10km from the ship).
AIRCRAFT LAUNCH AND RECOVERY FUNCTIONS MUST BE IMPLEMENTED AT AIRCRAFT LEVEL.
CARRIER IS COMPATIBLE WITH INDIAFOXTECHO T-45C GOSHAWK AND F-35C LIGHTNING II.
PACKAGE ALSO INCLUDES AN USS NIMITZ AND USS EISENHOWER MODELS AS BONUS

VFR is an all-new, study-level package to coach you step-by-step into the varied and rewarding world of flying visually under Visual Flight Rules.
Brought to you by a real airline captain, VFR gives you the authentic knowledge and teaches you how to fly like the professionals to get maximum realism and authenticity from your flight simulation, covering ATC, airspace, circuits, mountain flying, cross-country navigation and more.
Mirroring a real flight training course, VFR harnesses the fantastic new world within MSFS, combining as a fully authentic training experience, covering a host of aircraft and locations.
Use VFR Maps and Jeppesen charts to find your way as you travel cross-country with your instructor guiding you every step of the way through a series of 12 authentic missions. Start with the basics before being let loose on a series of short solo Bush-Trips and sitting your virtual Skills Test with an examiner.
The skills you will learn are transferable to practically any light aircraft and environment, as we will conduct our lessons in varied locations across the globe, using the local flying rules and procedures to give you the broadest international skillset possible.
Each mission has accompanying theory, found in the comprehensive ground school manual. Learn the theory before you take to the skies and practice it for yourself with the help of your instructor.
VFR 01. BASIC VFR
We’ll focus on introducing you to basic aircraft handling skills. Get the weather information from the Automated Terminal Information Service (ATIS) and coordinate with ATC to depart Liverpool, following the Entry/Exit route known as “Mersey Lane” to Seaforth at the control zone (CTR) boundary, before practicing some basic handling once in uncontrolled airspace.
VFR 02. APPROACH
Get your first introduction to the approach and landing attitudes before re-entering the control zone, navigating visually between VRPs and completing an approach.
VFR 03. CIRCUITS
Now it’s time to nail down the basics of both the normal and low-level circuit at Tauranga on New Zealand’s North Island, learning the downwind checklist and cementing your aiming point skills.
VFR 04. LOCAL FLIGHT
Leave the airfield and travel across the New Zealand countryside in your first taste of flight in uncontrolled airspace before performing an Overhead Join.
VFR 05. NIGHT VFR
Discover both the challenges and rewards of taking to the skies after darkness falls over Lake Ontario, relying more on your instrumentation to guide you safely from Toronto to your destination.
VFR 06. CROSSWIND
Battle the elements above the Shetlands as you are introduced to the control inputs and handling effects of crosswind conditions and drift, before returning to Sumburgh for a short field landing.
VFR 07. ABNORMALS
Things don't always go to plan. Run emergency drills and engine failures, using the decision making structure that will keep you safe in the face of adversity.
VFR 08. MOUNTAIN FLYING
Carve your way through mountains and valleys in our Mountain Flying lesson. Learn how to fly safely amongst high terrain and turbulent air currents.
VFR 09. UK TRIP
Leave the popular Elstree airfield North of London and make your way around the capital, crossing the Thames at Dartford and making a stop over at Biggin Hill. Then continue South towards the coast, avoiding Gatwick airspace towards Shoreham.
VFR 10. USA TRIP
Depart Seattle’s Renton Municipal airport and cruise through valleys, over bridges and across lakes as you tour the Washington landscape. Remain safely below the Class B airspace near the major Seattle Tacoma and Boeing Field airports.
VFR 11. NEW ZEALAND TRIP
Behold the stunning New Zealand South Island as you make a quick hop out of Milford Sound to Martins Bay before settling in on a long stretch to Queenstown, marvelling at the snow-capped mountains and meandering rivers.
VFR 12. VFR SKILLS TEST
Once you are confident with your skills, take your virtual Skills Test and fly a full flight profile with your examiner, to put what you've learned to the test.
FS Academy - VFR is accompanied by a comprehensive 70+ page ground school manual, covering a host of topics to boost your background knowledge before you take to the skies, including:
