The Cape is connected by local ferry services to the scenic, major islands of Martha's Vineyard (the location of the Jaws film) and Nantucket which are also covered by this scenery. In the pack you will find several local ferry services serving the islands with connections to both Hyannis and Woods Hole on the Cape. As always we have filled the many marinas and inlets with realistic moored watercraft giving you over 8,500 vessels moored and travelling around the islands.

This scenery covers the coastline of all 9 main islands from Ilha das Flores and Corvo, to the west; Graciosa, Terceira, São Jorge, Pico, and Faial in the centre; and São Miguel, Santa Maria, and the Formigas islets to the east. Each has its own airport so are great for island hopping low level flights.
This pack introduces over 500 moving leisure and commercial vessels near and around the islands together with moving, landable cruise ships and thousands of static vessels filling the many ports and marinas. You will also find local ferry services here operating their usual routes. The scenery further includes watermasks in the main areas as well as fixes to vegetation and water/terrain elevation.

Vessels: The Canary Islands
The Canary Islands are a Spanish archipelago nestled just 67 miles off the Northwest coast of Africa in the Atlantic Ocean. They consist of the main islands of Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, La Palma and Tenerife but also include the less visited destinations of La Graciosa, La Gomera and El Hierro. There is rich nautical history here too. The port of San Sebastian la Gomera was the last stopping place of Christopher Columbus on his first transatlantic voyage in 1492. Today it is a port... Today it is a port of call for the Fred Olsen Benchi Express, a small catamaran ferry that serves the various destinations on the island. El Hierro, also known as Ferro once served as the prime meridian, as it was the most westerly place known to ancient geographers.
Today the Islas Canarias (as they are known in Spain) are a bustling tourist destination with Tenerife and Gran Canaria being busy maritime hubs for cargo and cruise shipping as well as offshore oil drilling operations. You will find all of that represented in this scenery with the ports of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria being especially alive with nautical traffic.
The scenery includes many ferries from the various operators in this area with all but one (the little Benchi Express) having helidecks that you can land on as they move from port to port. We have also included landable, moving supply ships, cruise ships, drilling ships and a semi-submersible oil platform (that is being towed) to maximise your helicopter fun (see map below for starting locations of these).

Of particular note is Pearl Harbor, with its historical significance, wide array of US Navy warships and of course the USS Missouri aka 'Mighty Mo'. The US fleet is very active around the these islands.

This is the first of our sceneries to feature 'landable', moving US Navy, US Coast Guard and tanker vessels that you will find off the coast of most of the airports. All of the Navy vessels in this scenery can be landed on with the exception of the submarines.

In 1951, the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (M*A*S*H) in South Korea is assigned two new surgeons, "Hawkeye" Pierce and "Duke" Forrest, who arrive in a stolen Army Jeep. They are insubordinate, womanizing, mischievous rule-breakers, but they soon prove to be excellent combat surgeons. Other characters already stationed at the camp include the bumbling commanding officer Henry Blake, his hyper-competent chief clerk Radar O'Reilly, and the head nurse Margaret Houlihan nicknamed "Hot Lips". <... Directed by Robert Altan, the film won the Grand Prix du Festival International du Film, later named the Palme d'Or, at the 1970 Cannes Film Festival. The film went on to receive five Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture, and won for Best Adapted Screenplay. In 1996, M*A*S*H was included in the annual selection of 25 motion pictures added to the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress being deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant.
This scenery is a tribute to every M*A*S*H fans and in memory of Sally Kellerman who passed away recently.

Santa Maria Airport is the small regional airport serving Santa Maria, Brazil. It is operated by the Municipality of Santa Maria. The airfield started life in 1944 with the collaboration of the United States Army and it was opened in April 1945. Between 1971 and 2015, with the creation of the Santa Maria Air Force Base, civil and military facilities were shared. However, in 2015 an agreement between the Brazilian Air Force and the Municipality of Santa Maria, transferred part of the facilities ...
